Belong at Home Wigan have been invaluable in providing Mum and Dad with homecare, including washing, dressing, medication and house chores twice daily seven times a week. The staff are prompt, courteous, always friendly and professional. Mum and Dad's GP, their district nurse or myself are contacted
straight away if they have any concerns. Not the cheapest homecare, but the best by far. We would recommend to anyone looking for home care.

The care staff are friendly, caring, demonstrating a real understanding of dads requirements and needs. I have met the staff and sometimes my visiting times overlap the times when the staff are with dad and they really do demonstrate excellent caring skills and qualities providing Dad support when needed,
a listening ear and interest in his family etc. Thank you.

I don't know what I would have done if I did not have the team behind me.
What an amazing group of people seamlessly working together. We worked to ensure my mum's life at 92 years old was as wonderful as possible. Resources like this should be the gold standard in all our care homes throughout the
UK/EU. Many thanks, you kept me whole and healthy too.

We were unhappy with our previous carers, a friend recommended Belong at Home, and we haven’t been disappointed. A very professional and caring team, my dad is very happy with the care provided. Recommend this service.

I think that all the staff are excellent and will go that extra mile for my husband. He enjoys going to Belong (he goes 4 days per week on experience days) and that staff clearly think a lot about him. An example of the superb service was when I had a problem on a day when my husband was at home. The
staff at Belong agreed at short notice to look after my husband and agreed to stay overnight. Another example was when a member of staff agreed to stay over when they should have been on leave. Excellent service. I am very happy with his care.

After having to change care provision for mum from May 2018 to Belong, I cannot praise them highly enough. From the initial meeting with the managers who discussed mums needs thoroughly, to the actual daytime provision - every member of staff provided and provides outstanding daily care. They cater
for mums needs showing care, consideration and compassion. They also keep me informed of any issues impacting on the needs and care of mum, ensuring top quality patient/client care.

After receiving care from lots of agencies in the Wigan area and not being treated fairly, it has been a breath of fresh air having Belong coming into my home. The care has been exceptional. All staff treat me with respect, dignity and care about my health needs and have also attended to my wife in
an emergency situation and have acted promptly when my health needs change. Recognising the need for a GP/Nurse. I really appreciate Belong staff and the care they provide.

Have great support for nan from the team she is treated very well and made to feel very comfortable when she was very worried about letting anyone into support her. She is given the time from staff to complete any tasks needed (taking meds, making breakfast, starting to take a shower!) and all of us
as a family are very happy reassured.

My mum came to live with us in Wigan after being in hospital for some weeks. We were allocated Belong at Home Wigan for 6 weeks then we could choose another company if we wished to.
Myself and my mum were so pleased with the carers who came that we chose to continue with Belong at Home.
The carers
are like friends to my mum and they treat her with so much friendliness, professional personal care and dignity.
My mum is now used to her regular carers and we certainly wouldn't change the company now as were are completely happy with the service we get.

We would certainly recommend Belong at Home to anyone.

I have been receiving services from Belong at Home, for around 5 years my companion has always been there for me even out of work hours, he treats me as a friend and not just a person who they provide care for. Belong at Home has made living independent a possibility.

Since moving to Honeysuckle Apartments, I am overwhelmed at the level of care Belong at Home have given me. They have made my transition easy. If I am having a bad day, they are there for me and know when I am unwell.
I cannot speak highly enough of the Belong at Home team.
I would recommend them.

I cannot thank Belong at Home enough for the support they have given my wife. Having the same carer makes a big difference, it enables my wife to build up her confidence and see the same friendly face every day. The carers go out of their way, they will buy my wife her favourite food so they can have
picnic's together. It's a pleasure to praise Belong at Home I honestly don't know what I would do without them.

Belong at Home supported Mum from summer 2012 until spring 2016, when it became clear that she needed full-time care. She now lives in the Belong village, Wigan. For nearly 4 years, Mum's care team provided a first class service.
There is no doubt that, without their support, Mum would not have lived
independently for as long as she did. This could be anything from simply taking her for a weekly hair appointment, to coping with crises, such as several trips to A & E, keeping us informed at every step along the way. Time and time again they went the extra mile, and always with a smile even when Mum was being difficult.
Mum's care team responded to her changing needs superbly. The care coordinators were a constant source of sound and proactive advice. Neither my sister nor I live locally, and the support we received was invaluable because it gave us huge peace of mind.

We have been using the Belong at Home service for over 5 years and Dad has had the same regular companion throughout. The support worker visits Dad three times a week and has become a member of our extended family. He spent time to understand Dad's interests, likes and dislikes, and always treats
him with dignity, friendship and respect. Over the years, he and Dad have been out on excursions and regularly to Reading Group, and they have helped with everything from coffee-making to haircuts! He is proactive and creative in adjusting his support as Dad's health varies. Dad's face lights up when he arrives; they have great conversations, discussing the news or reading a magazine; sometimes they simply sit quietly and comfortably together. I live a long way away and it's great to know that there is someone I can trust to provide dedicated companionship in addition to the residential care. This support has been hugely valuable - thank you.

The support and care I receive from nearly all of the care staff at Belong is excellent. There are a certain few that give 110% and go the extra mile. I like consistency with my carers and it did take a while for me to receive this, as I don't like taking showers or having intimate care with everyone.
I like to have the same carers. I do think this is so important as you build up a confidence and bond with your regular carers. I changed my rating score from good to excellent as management are trying their best to get me consistency now.
