Libertas Care have supported my nan in a way which promotes a person centered approach, always putting her first. They provide an excellent service. The carers are all different but very helpful and supportive. Even the care manager rolls her sleeves up and helps when needed.
I would recommend this
service if you should need care and support in the future.

Libertas came to care for my poorly husband, we are delighted that we chose them. The care manager has been most helpful and the carers also. Nothing is too much trouble, even shopping and cleaning if I need it - they go the extra mile.

Words cannot really express how wonderful the whole team have been at Libertas. From the very first visit mum was put at ease and any worries I had about care for mum vanished. This company goes the extra mile for their clients and their care is consistently excellent.

My husband was looked after, showered and dressed etc beautifully by the 'girls' as he referred to them and he looked forward to seeing them. They were prompt, efficient and cheerful, we couldn't have asked for more. Nothing was too much trouble.

Libertas came highly recommended to our family and we contacted them with regarding organising live-in care for our mother. The management and entire team went above and beyond the call of duty to help us from both a practical and emotional point of view. The carers put in place were exemplary and any
query raised was resolved immediately. I cannot praise the help we got enough - genuine caring people involved providing care with both professionalism and humanity. All this was arranged during a period of high concern due to coronavirus, but the team, in particular management, were on call with support and advice at every step of the way. I cannot recommend Libertas highly enough. My mother could not have asked for better care and personal contact.

I approached Libertas Care seeking advice about care for my elderly relatives. The management and senior staff set aside time in their offices to see me at short notice (same day) and they were excellent and professional in all the dealings I had with them, both at this initial meeting and subsequent
contact. They listened carefully, quickly identifying our needs and offering a range of solutions. They showed an in-depth knowledge of the care sector both in terms of the types of care that was on offer, but also in pointing us in the direction of other agencies as appropriate. In my view Libertas Care are a caring team, lead by a strong and supportive management who are clearly passionate about what they do.

After my dear friend was diagnosed with dementia in hospital and given the devastating news he would now have to move onto a care home, my fiancé took a recommendation from a local friend and contacted Libertas. Within days they had a fantastic carer in place and the care team at the hospital were happy
he could go back home with her 22hrs/7 days a week care. Myself along with other friends were happy to cover the legal requirements of 2 hours off daily. When the rotation of another carer took over after 6 weeks, we all found ourselves spending more time with our friend and the carers, such lovely caring professionals who all also guided us forward in this cruel disease.
The management have regular meetings with us all to insure the most personal care is given with minimum disruption to normal life. No more sleepless nights for us worrying he will fall again!
Will not hesitate to use this care company for our family if ever required.

The best care agency I've used. Very professional and excellent service. Excellent carers. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
The agency is willing to try to help/accommodate needs for when I needed changes to be made or help to get to appointments or things a bit further away/assisting me
to go out to things - I really appreciated this. Some lovely carers and staff. They do not talk about other clients/gossip about your business like some carers seem to. Confidentiality is very important to me.
The carers I had seemed very trustworthy, professional and always willing to help and go the extra mile. Continuity is important to me and having the same carers as much as possible, they were able to provide this for me.
Office staff are also excellent, always willing to help with any changes or if you need to speak to them about anything. I only wish that this service went further afield as now I've recently moved location it will be hard to find an agency that comes up to this standard.

It’s devastating when the one who raised you from a child and nurtured you into adulthood suddenly becomes the child and needs your help and support. It doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a long, slow and painful process. Dementia is the most horrific disease which can only get worse. Mum always said, ‘Never
put me in a home’ and here we were faced with no alternative as none of us could be there for her all of the time.
Libertas provided the solution - excellent care from a top team. With four visits a day these past five years, they have become a massive part of Mum's life and ours. Unfortunately, now her dementia has progressed and Mum has to go into a home although now I think she rather likes the company!
I can’t rate Libertas highly enough; professional, dependable and super-efficient. Your girls have always brought a smile to Mum's face and that says it all. You have become our extended family and we can’t thank you enough for giving Mum five more years at home. Thank you all so much.

Libertas Care looked after my mother for over 5 years until her death, at 101, in October 2017. She was suffering from vascular dementia and had fractured her pelvis, which affected her mobility. Initially, it was one visit per day on 4 days a week to ensure she took her meds and had a hot meal but,
as her memory and mobility deteriorated, the visits were increased to domestic care for cleaning the house and daily personal care including help with showering, dressing etc. Finally, there were 3 visits a day.

I found Libertas during an internet search and I knew as soon as I spoke with the manager that they were just what I wanted to care for my fiercely independent mother. She was very difficult in the beginning as she didn't want or need (in her opinion) any help. The local care ladies were all lovely and just quietly won her round so that she finally accepted their help and looked forward their visits!

Living 200 miles away was not easy but Libertas eased the worry with their kindness.

Libertas have been providing my wife's care now for nearly three years. All their carers are extremely kind, caring, patient, cheerful and understanding of her problems.
She always looks forward to seeing them.
Their timing is good and if they have been delayed by traffic or a problem with a previous
client, they have phoned me to explain.
We really couldn't wish for better service.

Both my wife's parents moved in with us six years ago, Mum having dementia and Dad could not cope.
Eventually, we had to get carers in, but they were unreliable in several aspects of care.
July 2016 Dad suffered a severe stroke that left him with some physical and mental problems and the old carers
let us down several times.
In April 2017 we changed to Libertas after reading reviews on this site.
It was with great relief that Libertas took over. They were so professional right from the preliminary interview to every carer that visited. The carers are more like friends to Mum and Dad, but still get all the jobs done. Last month we were at last able to go on holiday for just over two weeks with no worries.
They are so reliable and if they finish their scheduled tasks look around for something else to do.
We could not wish for better carers.

Having a total left shoulder replacement followed by the independent living team for 6 weeks support and recommended further care help. Already had a right total hip replacement and in 2017 finally a total hip replacement and had a horrid post operative experience - ischaemic colitis causing oedema,
in hospital for five weeks and since then have had ongoing personal care.

I'm happy with my care place provided by Libertas Care.

I look forward to seeing them, they are very supportive, caring and interested in my welfare. I love a shower feel very safe and am gaining confidence. They help with creaming my back, legs and help with compression stockings, making and changing my bed and washing. Wonderful carers, I am privileged to have this care and support.
