I contacted Home Instead Norwich after being let down by another provider. The care for my mother, 1 hour in the morning and night and 2 lunchtimes a week, was soon set up and Mum soon realised the huge value that the carers bring to her. Getting her up, making breakfast for her and reading the paper
to her made a huge difference to her life. She soon chose her favourite carers, not all worked out but these were soon replaced, and they kept to her routine morning and night. I can say that the carers soon became real friends for which no job was too much trouble. There is always going to be issues with this type of support and, while there was the odd phone call to the office to sort out issues, the office were very supportive while doing a very difficult job, especially during the Covid. Mum had carers from this company for over 20 months in total and what a difference they made; thank you all.

My father, aged 93 lives in an annex attached to our home. He had become quite lonely, particularly as my wife and I have very busy full time jobs. We wanted a befriender who could chat with my father and take him out to his favourite places.
Home instead provide a carer who comes once a week and
really goes the extra mile to help us keep Dad’s quality of life as good as possible.

The service provided for my father was true care, rather than just a service. When he had a medical problem whilst we were away and unable to return until the next day, somebody went in on her day off to sort him out and provide support. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I continue to be pleased and satisfied with the care given by Home Instead caregivers. They are interesting and thoughtful people who add a great deal to my day. There was a short period a little while ago when the office staff seemed to be going through a difficult time which caused a feeling of insecurity.
Fortunately, this seems to have been sorted. Thank you for your help and availability.

I only recently contacted Home Instead to help out with my elderly mother and so far have had excellent service. I have a set day each week and her carer is very helpful and friendly, she even offered to do some overtime on her days off to help care for Mum so I could have a break away for one night
which I am very grateful for.

I can happily testify to the sentiments of many other reviews. Home Instead has been hugely responsive and flexible, quickly putting in place additional support and care after my mother had a fall at home. It felt like we had nowhere to turn. Home Instead immediately responded to my calls and developed
a new and expanded care plan. On its own that helped tremendously but the fact, the carers have all been so fabulous has been the real bonus and helped us all feel better during a traumatic period.

The office is well run with excellent client communication. The caregivers are excellent, being professional, caring, reliable and trustworthy. I found Home Instead (Norwich) keen to help me in providing the best care cover for my bed-bound 91-year-old Mum, being flexible if I needed to change the amount
of care cover, carry out specific tasks: feed Mum's cat or the like. If you want some of the best care to enable a loved one to stay at home, I recommend Home Instead.

The support, help and care given to my father has been fantastic. All the team are very efficient and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff member who arranged the care initially carefully matched the caregivers to my father's interests. The caregivers always arrived on time and were
very thoughtful, kind and caring and built a very good relationship very quickly. The companionship and care was much appreciated by my father and myself. I would thoroughly recommend Home Instead.

The team from Home Instead (Norwich) have been fantastic for my 95-year-old Dad - given him companionship and lots of things to talk about as well as good personal care. They have never rushed him and he has definitely benefitted from engaging with them. The assessor spent time to find out what my Dad's
interests are and matched his caregivers to him very well. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

This is my first review after only 3 months with Home Instead and the only care provider. I cannot fault the care given to my wife each morning and the additional work in the house during those 2 hours each day.
All the carers are kind, knowledgeable and friendly.

Home Instead always makes contact with my sister and/or I if they have a concern about our dad. Their caregivers are warm, caring people who will not leave someone who is unwell and needing their help or support. They keep us informed and will monitor our dad more closely until they are confident he
is better. We really value their service to our dad, they support him to continue to live the independent life he wants to lead.

All our mum's needs are catered for in a sensitive and professional way. We have complete confidence that carers will attend Mum, which is so good as we live a distance away. Mum really enjoys seeing familiar faces regularly, and relies on them for all kinds of care. The carers are easily contactable
and as relatives we are closely engaged with Home Instead, and carers are friendly, happy and take trim to listen.

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.708 for Home Instead (Norwich) is calculated as follows: ( (143 Excellents x 5) + (32 Goods x 4) + (9 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 185 Ratings = 4.708

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
