My uncle lives alone. He suffers from dementia and heart disease. All of his family live far away and can only visit him occasionally. Bluebird visits him three times a day, giving him his medication and preparing his meals. Bluebird also collects his medication from the local pharmacy and brings
him to appointments with his GP and other services. Bluebird carers are invariably polite, kind and reliable. The care management app enables me to read carers' reports of each visit. This assists me in monitoring his welfare and ordering his groceries by home delivery. Bluebird alert me immediately of any concerns they encounter and respond quickly and effectively to queries and suggestions I may have. In a crisis, Bluebird staff will activate appropriate services and stay with him until help arrives. Without Bluebird, my uncle would not be able to manage independent living in his own home.

It has been a relief to know that Bluebird has provided continuous care regardless of the pandemic, strikes, etc. It has also been good that they have provided additional care at very short notice. Their accounting has been accurate and invoices have been received in good time and are detailed and clear.

In January ,my brother was very frail and weak. Glady was so kind to him and made him feel comfortable ,relaxed and peaceful. She was able to recognize his symptoms and adjusted her care to him accordingly.
Even at the end he was able to respond to her and expressed his appreciation.
She was also
a great support to me ,giving me encouragement and keeping my spirits up by her cheerful outlook.

We are extremely grateful for the support Bluebird provided at a very difficult time. My father-in-law had to go into hospital as an emergency and was there for many weeks. Within two days Bluebird sent us a wonderful live-in carer to be with my 91-year-old mother-in-law who has dementia.
She was
warm, kind and flexible - and also had the house looking better than it had for years! We also wanted to say how much we appreciated the calm, positive support from the office staff - always available at the end of the phone. My mother-in-law struggled on the first day when a new carer came after several weeks, but the second carer dealt with this well, remaining professional and calm. The whole family is grateful for the support and help at the time.

My carer is amazing. We clicked immediately. She quickly learned my preferences about where things go what I need and when I need it. She is very aware of my mobility issues and arranges my travel. She is an amazing cook, she is thorough and efficient and leaves the house spotless. She is a joy to have
around I wouldn't be without her.

We have been delighted with the excellent service provided by Bluebird Care. We use the service t proved companionship for my mother who lives with us, whenever we need to leave her for a few hours in the evenings they provide a regular carer each time, who mum has got to know and looks forward to spending
time with.

We needed the service of a full-time carer at short notice and it was important they had palliative care experience. Bluebird were very flexible and had people on standby until a firm date was known and then was able to provide us with a lovely carer. She looked after our friend so well for the last
short weeks of her life. She was gentle and very experienced and hardly left our friend's side. She was very understanding and also helped the friends and family throughout this difficult time, easing our concerns. I can't recommend her highly enough.

My mum’s carer is very jolly; she makes my mum smile and always treats my mum as one of her family. She is so caring and kind, and always goes above and beyond her duties. Nothing is too much for her, and my sister and I are so very grateful for the care mum is receiving. We have had other carers who
have said “oh I don’t do that “ or, “it says here that I’m only supposed to do this” which is not very helpful to an old 79-year-old with mobility issues and lots of health problems, so we are really happy and appreciate mum's carer greatly, and don’t know what we would do without her.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are very pleased that you have been able to build such a strong relationship with your mother's care worker. We put a lot of effort into making sure that we only employ the very best candidates that will deliver the high standard of care your mother deserves.
We recognise that everyone's care needs will most likely change over time, and therefore the care plans must be regularly reviewed. If a particular task is needed but has not yet been risk assessed, our team are advised to err on the side of caution for your mother's safety and their own. However, we are very happy and able to review and update care plans as often as required. We will be in contact very quickly to arrange this review!
We really appreciate your time in completing this feedback, and as always, we will do everything we can to continuously improve our service.
Thank you for choosing Bluebird Care (Ealing).

The two main carers I had were both highly efficient and both very hard-working, diligent and were both very kind and thoughtful. Others were good as well 2 or 3 others were capable, friendly and worked well. There was only one carer who was only interested in talking about herself.

Having reached the age of 94 years and my wife of 89, facing a long period of being in hospitals, we joined Bluebird Care and have been most impressed by the service we have received on a daily basis.
In my career in banking charity work, I have been most impressed by the ability and attention to
detail and have no hesitancy in recommending them for your attention.

My mum was very reluctant to receive any help and was very stubborn when it came to any care which she thought was invading her privacy. The carer who arrived was so patient and was prepared to sit and wait and talk before attempting to deal with mum's hygiene problems. The carer involved finally gained
her confidence and while mum would never admit to it she looked forward to the contact and the conversation she had with her carers. I would like to thank them for the help and affection they provided.
