When my husband left hospital he was offered a care package via local social services.The company we had to use was hopeless at time keeping, which caused a lot of upset for my husband.The staff were lovely and helpful, but we never knew what time they were coming, also they were always in a rush. After
a few months I realised I needed to find a care company that was prepared to spend time with him. If there was time the caregiver would do little jobs for me, so It felt like the caregiver was looking after both of us. Unfortunately in early December 2015 he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia and died on the 6th January.


Without the help and support of Home Instead my husband's end of life experience could have been very stressful, but we have lovely memories of two hours a day of care giving as it should be. There were always smiles and laughter, which set him up for the day Thank you, everyone at Home Instead. I find it hard to express my gratitude for all your care and love towards him.

The agency was excellent . It enabled my mum to stay at home for an additional two and half years. The carers were extremely friendly and carried out the work that been agreed in a professional manner.

Home Instead were recommended to us by a friend and we started using them when my mums dementia worsened. They were friendly and professional and found us two lovely carers to help with personal care and light housework. The carers always turned up on time and soon became friends to my mum, far more
than just carers.


We were so impressed and happy with the service, that when mum had to be admitted to a care home for end of life care, we agreed that they should continue to visit at the care home. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others.

The company started off really well. The care givers have always been very good, caring and doing their very best. My expectations might have been too high but I didn't expect such a big turnover of staff and there was little support and backup for them. There was little evidence of teamwork and communication
was lacking in the Management team. I leave the company very disappointed.
