The main focus of Home Instead Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe is to provide care that is tailor-made to the individual, realising that continuity of care is essential for the family and the individual themselves, as many families say it is their number one consideration by far.

At Home Instead you will be supported by a local team that is dedicated to delivering outstanding tailored care. They are able to support people at whatever stage of their care journey and with specialist knowledge and experience in health conditions such as Dementia, Stroke, Cancer, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Mental Health and Palliative care.

They also work closely with other specialists such as NHS community specialists, GPs pharmacists charities, faith organisations and many other local organisations. The aim is to provide as much independence as possible, where Care Professionals form strong trusted relationships and provide high quality companionship.

All Care Professionals are employed, DBS and reference checked and trained in-house, who are then comprehensively supported by the office care team. Home Instead's local approach enables people to stay safe and live well in their own home, being flexible and reactive where needed.

Home Instead provides Traditional Home Care services from 1 hour to 24 hours per day, enabling them to support you at whatever stage of your care at home journey.

Excellent attention to detail and care. Polite staff and good response time. Not exactly great value for money. Perhaps longer visit time or maybe 5 days paid for six visits. Have told friends and relatives am pleased and hope my money holds out.

The caregivers provide exceptional care to our Dad, treating him always with kindness and dignity, providing practical help and company: preparing freshly cooked brunches, lunches and evening meals to a very high standard and presenting in a really appetising way; carrying out cleaning tasks as needed
and seeing when this is the case without fail; providing Dad with great company, showing interest in what he has to tell them and asking questions, rotating his photo albums so that he can enjoy the memories that he can still access and having a good laugh with him. Dad actively enjoys seeing the caregivers and his life is enriched by their visits. For us, his children, we have precious peace of mind between our own visits.

Just started with Home Instead and have been very pleased so far with their care and follow-up. It is useful to be able to use the app to see the report from the carer following each session with dad as he has dementia and isn't always able to tell us what is happening. Very impressed with the problem
solving from the carer when faced with any difficulties and also that she spends time talking to dad about his interests as well as helping him with tasks in the house.

We are very happy with the level of care my mum receives from Home Instead (Altrincham and Sale). The carers are really supportive of her and highly committed. The support from the office staff is also extremely good. My mum is treated with dignity and respect, and she has been able to remain living
independently for longer than we would have thought possible thanks to the care and dedication of Home Instead. Mum thrives in company and having the calls last an hour means that they are not rushed, and have got to know her really well. She enjoys the company of the carers very much, and it is peace of mind for her family to know that she is well looked after while we are working.

We engaged Home Instead (Altrincham & Sale) in July this year to provide care for Mum.
From the outset, we have been impressed with all aspects of their approach. Our initial meeting demonstrated the care and attention to Mum's needs and preferences, the coordinator that we dealt with ensured that
they knew as much about Mum as possible.
Mum has had a core team of carers who she got to know and trust and this consistency has been really important. Without exception, the carers have been professional, respectful, and caring, being good company for Mum as well as providing care.
Communication with us has been exceptional, with telephone calls if they have any concerns, regular updates, and scheduled reviews.
Home Instead never let us down; we have absolute trust that they will arrive when they are scheduled and that they will do the best for Mum.
Mum is now moving into residential care but Home Instead enabled her to have a few more precious months at home.

Outstanding service from committed carers. Add to this the professional and caring individuals behind the scenes; managers and admin - I would highly recommend Home Instead.

Home Instead (Altrincham & Sale) has been supporting my mum at home for almost 2 years now after a period of illness and frailty caused by Covid lockdown. They have made such a difference to my mum and she looks forward to seeing her caregivers every day. The care that the caregivers provide is exceptional.
Nothing is too much trouble and they will support with everything. Cooked meals, personal care, chatting to mum for company. The office team is really responsive and always keeps us up to date with anything that's happened. They go the extra mile contacting the chemist, dentist, family members, on behalf of Mum when she needs it and that is a massive help whilst I am working and would struggle to keep up with the admin of her care and meds. Because they visit her for an hour at a time she has really bonded with the ladies that support her and sees them as her friends, not carers. Could not recommend more highly.

We knew Home Instead was right for us after seeing how we could make a real difference, not only to an individual but importantly how we would be able to work alongside other charities and businesses to support our local senior community here in Trafford. We opened our doors back in 2010 and have been providing at-home care support ever since, touching the lives of over 1,000 clients and thousands more out in the community.


Alan’s role is to build relationships & look for opportunities for Home Instead to contribute to the local community whilst managing the business side of the company. “I am currently supporting the development of our community magazine, ‘Live Well, Your Way. With it, we can promote local activities, resources, and support groups around the community, enhancing the lives of our neighbourhoods.
