My comments are regarding the care I have received as domicile care and do not include the live-in care service which I received in February.
I have found all your staff incredibly pleasant, helpful and capable. They have helped me regarding my leg operation and safety concerning my balance problems.
I have virtually no negative comments to make I thank you for your service!

I have been very pleased and appreciative of the care and help given to me by all of the carers I have had. They help me with the tasks that I find difficult to manage on my own. The carers always have a smiley and cheerful manner and it is lovely to have a chat with someone during their visits.

Very good, quick and provided a good explanation for why copies of POA (power of attorney) were needed and gave us copies of the new care plan. Evening carers soak Dad's hands with bath salts which is good.

We have been pleased with the service which has fulfilled our requirements. The carers have carried out the tasks needed very diligently and ensured the client has received her medication etc. We have been impressed by the compassion and caring attitude and they have treated us in a friendly manner.

The company has to provide half an hour each week to wash, cream and change my stockings. The staff always arrive on time and are cheerful and chatty. It is normally the same person each week but if different, they are just as pleasant. They know exactly what to do and leave everything clean, dry and
tidy.

The carers are unfailingly helpful and perform the assistance needed very well. They are easy to deal with and happy to engage with parents. The weekly visit is especially useful because it allows me to go shopping and they have helped Dad with his jigsaw and provide company for him whilst I am away.
I am grateful that I can do the shopping without having to worry.

All of the carers who visit my grandmother four times a day are fantastic. As a family, we are so grateful for each and every individual that cares for Nan. Since the care started, Nan has been able to live more independently and has also gained a new lease of life. 2023 has not been the best year for
Nan, and she has been through a number of challenges, but Bluebird has been there every step of the way, not just for Nan but for the whole family. Nan has a fantastic relationship/bond with one certain carer, which is lovely to see, especially as Nan was so against carers in the beginning. Bluebird has remained professional throughout, and nothing is too much for any of them. Bluebird has helped us as a family to be able to visit and spend time with Nan as family now, other than carers, as we had been doing for a length of time.

I am very happy with the care my husband receives from Bluebird Care. We have had small issues in the past with times, carers etc, but for the last couple of years, we have had no issues or complaints. The carer that we have had for two years plus is outstanding. She always goes above and beyond to
provide first-class care. Office staff make sure they contact me if any problems with my husband's calls. They are friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

As the Responsible Individual for the service, it is my duty to oversee all regulated activity on-site and service management and ensure the service is run well and safely. To ensure that the service is compliant with service regulations and standards, to make sure that the service is managed and has the right resources to run the service as effectively as possible. I must also ensure that the business is financially sustainable.


All of these guidelines must be followed as per RISCA 2016.


It also imperative that I understand the respective roles and responsibilities of RIs and how managers complement each other. Working together we can achieve this.


Growth, reputation and development of the business is one of my main focus. Customer service and satisfaction is an area in which I am extremely compassionate. Care is a passion and driving excellence is a key factor in organizational management which I am keen to deliver.

Cerys Morgan

Cerys is responsible for the day-to-day running of the service maintaining the highest quality in Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Her responsibilities are to monitor, record and ensure that all care staff have completed mandatory training, refresher training and additional training which will enhance the delivery of care to our customers. Cerys is dedicated to ensuring that we complete a weekly Quality Improvement plan so that we can all work as one team to deliver quality which is compliant and safe. Emma joined Bluebird Care in February 2015 having previously worked in supported living for people with Learning Disabilities. She initially started with us as a care worker and within six months was promoted to Care Supervisor. Emma is always on hand to provide advice and support to the supervisors in both Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. She manages her own team of care workers to ensure that we continue to provide a quality service. Emma is the first point of contact with both new and existing customers in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Chloe has been working in care for the past 5 years and joined Bluebird Care in 2023. Chloe completed 2 years of a nursing degree, however after working in care decided that working in the care community sector was a better fit for her. Chloe’s family all live in West Wales, so Chloe spends her weekends visiting them as she has 7 siblings and 13 nieces & nephews, meaning she is always busy. But, as Chloe lives away from her family, she spends her time after work with her friends.

Nicola has worked for Bluebird Care Cardiff and The Vale for many years, she joined us in 2016 as a Carer in the community and has recently been promoted to Care Mentor due to her experience and professional attitude to both customers and staff.


Nicola is based in our Cowbridge office and has spent the last 6 months building our Hub to encourage the elderly and vulnerable people to socialise once more after the pandemic forced everyone to stay home.


Every Monday, Thursday and Friday Nicola runs a hub which encourages chat, games, music and singing. She serves tea, coffee and cake and the hub is free of charge.

Carey Pontin

Job Title: Care Mentor

Joined: 2015

Carey has worked for Bluebird Care for the last 8 years as a Care worker in the community.


She has worked most of her life in Care and has obtained her Level 5 in Health and Social Care. Carey is our Care Mentor and is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered to our customers in the way we expect and also completes Care Plan Reviews with customers.


Carey is also our Medication and Emergency First Aid trainer. Carey has a tremendous amount of training in care and always seeks perfection when it comes to quality.
