I have used Blue Ribbon for a year now, to supply carers for my father who suffers from dementia.
Initially, the management took great care to match my father with suitable carers and also they aim to supply as few changes of carers as possible to cover holidays and sick leave etc.
All the carers
provided have been efficient, kind, sympathetic and caring in a way that has given my father a new lease of life.
Together with good communication from management and carers, I am very reassured.

The carer was very helpful and always had a positive attitude. We could not have managed, let alone enjoy the holiday without her.

I am perfectly happy with the service. The carers know what they are doing and make an excellent job of it. One of the carers has just recently saved my life by calling for an ambulance when I stopped breathing. I felt far more secure in my predicament with a trained carer who knew exactly what to do
in what was a life and death situation. Thank you very much.

I would definitely recommend Blue Ribbon. My mother's carers are very personable, caring, reliable and trustworthy and it is evident that they enjoy their job.
I have established a very good relationship with her two regular carers (who always 'go the extra mile') and the office manager and nothing
is too much trouble.
She now needs extra support at the day centre she attends and one of her carers spends time with her there too.
We used Blue Ribbon for live-in care last year while we were on holiday. The lady who came was 'a treasure' who looked after my mother and her bungalow to perfection. My mother was singing her praises and didn't want her to leave. We have booked her again for this year.
My mother has dementia so she often doesn't remember her carers names but she enjoys their company, is very well looked after and always has good things to say about them. They, in turn, like being with her and liaise with me regularly.

They are very good I have confidence in the people who run things making sure a carer turns up. The specific carer allocated to me is truly great and is backed up a newish member of the management team who has been great too. It's a relief knowing she's there for holidays etc.

My father in law was cared for by a lady from Blue Ribbon. She was very kind, caring, gentle and able. She became a friend to my father in law and the family as well as being his carer. I found Blue Ribbon very prompt and efficient in finding us a carer, I would highly recommend his carer and Blue Ribbon.

Dad had hospice at home treatment and as part of the package, he was provided with three care visits per day.
All the carers that visited were polite, caring and very knowledgeable.
Dad's face would light up when they walked into the room.
The carers made a real difference to dad's last precious
days - huge thanks from me (daughter) too as you made my life much more tolerable in what were very stressful times.

When we realised that mummy now needed 24-hour care, we absolutely did not want her to go into a home, as this has always been her biggest fear,
We met with the organiser, who really put our minds at rest and assured us that we could train the carer to attend to mummy's needs the way she likes to be
helped.
We couldn't be happier with our carer. There is a huge relief we feel knowing that she is there and will answer the phone to us and let us know what is happening. Mummy is so relaxed and happy. She is eating better than she has for years and I have been able to concentrate on my children, knowing mummy is safe.

The carers from Blue Ribbon Community Care were very kind, respectful and personable to a wonderful lady that was so dear to me and at the end of her life.
They made her feel comfortable and she looked forward to seeing them each day.
It was a relief and comfort to us to know that she was in such
good hands.
They are dedicated to their profession and I would recommend them highly. I am so grateful especially to the young ladies that were regularly assigned to her care. When they would show up, I could take a break and feel confident that such a dear sweet elderly lady was being treated with dignity and kindness.
The whole sad experience was made easier knowing that my family had the help and support from a high--quality service that went above and beyond their duties to help us ease through the inevitable end result.

I would like to express my gratitude to Blue Ribbon for their excellent service in caring for an elderly family friend at the end of her life. Not only was the level of care extremely professional and of the highest standard but the carers themselves were gentle, kind and compassionate. It was also
a great relief for my family to know that everything was being taken care of, in fact, it was as if she was being looked after by family. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

She has been my carer since 20th June 2016. Reliable, honest and trustworthy and highly professional. Has given me excellent advice regarding walking aids, encouraged me to walk increasing distances. Help with medication and understands the main aspects of diabetic care with the insulin pen and home
glucose testing machines. Discusses concerns with health and safety issues. She is a good cook, a pleasing companion and good household manager.
