We are very happy with the standard of care we receive from Bluebird. All the carers are very kind and helpful and know our needs well. They are punctual and very professional in their work. The organisation has always worked with us to the highest standard and are able to accommodate our needs well.
Any changes or suggestions we make are carried out well and if and when new assessments are needed they are done in a timely fashion.

Mum has had an excellent service from Bluebird Care for four years now. Managers are easy to reach by phone and have dealt with any issues we have had promptly and efficiently. New staff always accompany Mum's carer on visits before they visit her alone. We know in advance who will be coming (weekly
rota) and Mum has a small team of regular carers who she is very fond of. She enjoys their visits and the care they offer her.

Mum has been happy with the service. It is important for her that carers come early in the morning (7 am) so she can be ready for the day's events and this has mostly been achieved, which is excellent. The handover to new staff is a difficult time for Mum and is done very sensitively.

Bluebird are always ready to listen to any concerns I have and do their best to reassure me on many issues. Always caring and polite - sense of humour. In Royston, we are short of 5 carers and the ones we have cope without complaining.

Robert Treschi

Job Title: Director

Joined: 2011

I am the Director of Bluebird Care (Stevenage and North Herts). We have a dedicated team that has managed the care from this office for the last 12 years; the Care Manager, coordinator and Supervisor have a combined experience of over 35 years in care.


Having experienced first-hand the difficulties and frustrations of arranging care for my own father I am passionate to provide a service that actually puts the customer and their needs at its heart.


Excellent customer service is very important to me, and my team, and we aim to offer care that we would expect from our own family members. This is why we don’t offer 15-minute visits as we believe that is not sufficient time to offer adequate care. We also aim to have a one-to-one relationship between each customer and carer so that more personal care and friendship can be offered.


Prior to care, I have over 30 years of experience in business (including various Telecommunications companies in over 10 foreign countries) which has taught me that you are only as good as the people you employ. We, therefore, want our carers to be happy and to have a passion for caring.


I have been involved in fundraising for the Alzheimers Society and I am a Dementia Champion.
