Unique Senior Care’s Warwickshire head office provides outstanding home care and live-in care services to support older people who would like to continue to live in the comfort of their own homes, for as long as possible.

It is a fully regulated service, as recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with a team of friendly, professional and empathetic Caregivers, who are dedicated to providing outstanding care, from as little as one hour a week to 24 hours a day, seven days a week live-in care. They design personalised care plans to meet clients’ specific needs and wishes, for either short-term periods of respite, or longer-term, and offer support with personal care, mobility, medications, housekeeping, transportation, companionship and cooking.

All Caregivers receive tailored training, equipping them with the skills needed to best look after people living with dementia and Parkinson’s, and for people who require palliative end-of-life care, ensuring that your loved ones get the care they deserve. Their flexible services are available across Warwickshire in Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Warwick and surrounding areas.     Mon to Fri - 8am and 8pm - £41.00 per hour
    Mon to Fri - 8pm and 8am - £42.00 per hour
    Sat & Sun - 8am and 8pm - £43.00 per hour
    Sat & Sun - 8pm and 8am - £45.00 per hour.


    Sleep over rate between 10pm and 7am £275.00 per night.
    Companionship support or respite – all services, but off peak £75.00 per booking - Service must be a 2½ hour period not starting before 10am and finishing no later than 4pm


    Live In Care - £1,785 per week
    Live In Respite, Palliative or Complex care - £2,100 per week
    Couples Live in Care - £2,240 per week
    Couples Live In Respite, Palliative or Complex care - £2,485 per week.

Our fees cover your complete care service, including the initial consultation, provision of care above and management of our service. Good care. Attention to detail depends on which carer attends. Personal care is very good. The carers are always chatty and friendly and engage well. Meals are reheated and sometimes overheated, but good, on the whole. Some carers miss early signs of infections - this has been raised with them. The
care, on the whole, is very good. Interception for skin issues/sores is generally good. Liaise with incontinence team - very good. Keeping next of kin informed is improving.

Unique Senior Care has provided an amazing service. They have been helpful, flexible and quick to respond. The care they provide is excellent. In addition, when my friend was admitted to hospital the carer present went the extra mile, reassuring my friend until help arrived. Since then they have followed

After an accident that left me unable to do much, I reached out for help. Both the office staff and caregivers were really helpful, setting up care immediately. All of the caregivers I met went beyond to help and allowed me to keep my sanity.

Very impressed with the quality of care and friendly staff. My mum's carer quickly established a strong rapport, was always ready to go the extra mile - eg, brought her own soup maker. Also, she scoured the house to find extra things to do without being asked, such as wiping doorknobs.

Generally, we have nothing to complain about and are very happy with the organisation and particularly the carers who are very competent and friendly. I would certainly recommend them. I find it difficult when we have changes in staff, however, our needs have changed over time and we have now settled
down. I hope in our requirements and theirs.
We do find them expensive and occasionally the timing can be awkward especially if they turn up earlier than expected. This can be intrusive if we are watching a particularly interesting programme on television.

I am a live-in carer for a mutual client - carers from Unique Senior Care come to give me breaks. I gained a lot of information about our client from the girls as they were in place already when I came. I found them to be really helpful. As we are in an area with limited bus service, a couple of the
girls in their own time took me out on my break to give me a change of scenery. They are also very good with the lady who I care for.

Nikki

Job Title: Registered Care Manager

We are delighted that Nikki is the Registered Manager for our service in Stratford on Avon.


With over 20 years of care experience, she started her career in care at the age of 16, working in a care home looking after the elderly, whilst also studying at college to gain her Health and Social Care qualifications


Nikki is now a very experienced Care Manager, having worked in a range of different care settings from private and public hospitals, care homes, home care and including 18 years working with Mencap supporting people with Learning Disabilities.


A huge advocate of elderly care at home, Nikki fully understands the benefits of physical and mental wellbeing of both her clients and her support team and she truly believes in the right for everyone to be able to live safely, with respect and dignity in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by the things they know and love.


Nikki loves getting to know our customers and their families, as they are all unique. She also understands the benefits of listening to their life stories, and hearing about their interests and wider families; as this enables her team to really know the people they are caring for and make each visit count and make them happy.


Outside of work, Niki has two children, two dogs – one of which weighs more than her two children and enjoys getting out in the countryside for a family walk.
