When we finally needed care for my father we were unsure where to go. Luckily we chose Flexicare. I would wholeheartedly recommend Flexicare to anybody looking for care, they really do care from top to bottom of the company. Some of the carers and staff became like family and gave first-class care to
my dad. The best recommendation that I can give is that if we had to make the decision again then we would 100% choose Flexicare to look after our dad or any of our family.

As a family run business, we are dedicated to providing the same care and support we would expect for our own family members and are honoured you felt the carers and staff became like family. We continually strive for excellence.

Dad's health declined and much to his disappointment we decided carers were needed to help us at home. Dad's carers were very kind and respectful of his needs and went above and beyond to help him mentally and physically. Dad then began to look forward to the cares coming in and helping him, and he
built up a good relationship with them. Sadly dad passed away in October but the months we had carers were life-changing.

Mum has mixed dementia and other health needs and has required four care visits a day for many years. I can hand on heart say that Flexicare At Home is an exceptional care provider. Why? Our past experience with some care providers has been very poor, but the difference we have experienced since starting
with Flexicare At Home has restored our faith. Within our family, two of us are retired nurses and we have high expectations, so it's both important and reassuring that Mum is well cared for. The training the carers receive is of high quality and the regular reviews with ourselves and Mum are extremely helpful. Communication with the team is excellent, we feel listened to and the company is incredibly flexible and responsive, especially on the occasions Mum has been very unwell and required extra visits. The carers who care for Mum are always on time and very professional. They always treat Mum with dignity and respect, frequently going over and above, so thank you to all at Flexicare At Home.

I have been with Flexicare At Home over the last four years and I wish to convey how happy I am with the company and with the care I have received. Care is always to a high, professional standard and the training they receive reflects this in the delivery of care given. The carers are kind, considerate,
pleasant and good time keepers. My dignity and wishes have always been respected. I feel they understand me as a person, not just another person to care for. Eternally indebted for the day my daughter got married when the company worked with me, planning my care so the day went smoothly. The manager, management team, administrators and carers have all been very supportive. I would highly recommend this company.

Flexicare At Home, based in Wakefield West Yorkshire, have been looking after my disabled wife for about four years now. Their staff and management team are very friendly and professional. The team always turn up on time for scheduled calls. The carers are very friendly, considerate, and always treat
my wife with dignity and respect, so much so that my wife looks forward to their visits. I've recently enquired about a significant but short change to her care package, the request was catered for and the response came back very quickly. I have no problem in recommending Flexicare whenever the opportunity arises.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, it is a pleasure supporting your wife. Having used Flexicare At Home based at Calderpark, Wakefield, for over 2 years, both my mum and I have been very satisfied with the excellent service they provide. All the carers are wonderful and treat Mum, who is 92, with dignity and respect. They carry out their work with great efficiency and discretion.
Flexicare
provides a weekly rota detailing who will be caring and the times that they will be making the visits, which I find very useful.

Reply from Kevin Whaley, Manager at Flexicare At Home

Thank you for your valued review. As you know the carers love seeing your mum daily, she always wears a smile and is a pleasure to support. We are here to support you, as well as your mum, as we know only too well how tiring it can be when caring for a loved one.

In all the time they looked after my dad and his partner, they have always gone above and beyond and taken their needs very seriously. The team were always very helpful and kept me informed of any changes or concerns (as I did not live locally). I would definitely recommend them for your care needs.
Thank you all so much!

Flexicare At Home have provided excellent care for our mum and dad. They are thoughtful, and considerate and go above and beyond to make sure that all needs are met. They take special care to get to know their clients as people. They looked after our dad in his final months and days and were amazing.
The care and support they have given our mum as she grieved and adjusted to living alone has been exceptional. I would definitely recommend Flexicare.

Reply from Kevin Whaley, Manager at Flexicare At Home

Thank you for your comments. It was a great honour to care for your father in his final months - his courage and love for you all, especially your mum, shone like a beacon. Supporting your mum is also a privilege - she enriches the carers' lives as much as they enrich hers. Your mum's smile warms our hearts greatly. It is also warming to see your mum improve each day, needing less support, and retaining her independence. Thank you again for taking the time to pass a review.

Flexicare At Home have been caring for my Grandma for the last ten years. I could not be happier with the excellent levels of care provided and cannot recommend them enough. The manager and the team are wonderful, so friendly, genuinely caring and professional: I am very grateful to each and every one
of them for everything they do for Grandma. Thanks to their ongoing advice and support, we’ve been able to safely keep Grandma at home as her dementia and care needs have increased. They have always been there for her and she loves their company. Nothing is too much trouble for them, I don’t live locally and they have assisted with all aspects of care and wellbeing. Including regular updates, help with shopping, liaising with the GP/nurses, obtaining equipment, hospital visits and prescriptions. They treat Grandma with such respect and compassion, and their support has been amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review. We always strive to provide the highest quality of service, supporting our service users and their families in all aspects of care wherever possible. It is a pleasure supporting your Grandma and I know the carers are very fond of her.

After they were recommended to us we have been with Flexicare since the beginning of my son's care needs became apparent over fifteen years ago. At no time have we ever felt the need to change providers as both the management and the carers are totally professional. The carers will move heaven and earth
to arrive on time whatever weather or traffic mishaps are placed in their way. Carers are always well-trained and understand what is expected of them. There is regular contact with the management team to ensure that they are meeting my son's needs.
Both the company and the carers will always go above and beyond what is expected of them to ensure my sons has the best life experiences possible. They are always looking for ways to improve the care my son receives often coming up with suggestions to improve the service they deliver.
When I asked my son for a comment he said it's the best company in Yorkshire, and that is a pretty good summary.

Reply from Kevin Whaley, Manager at Flexicare At Home

Family feedback such as this means so much and we are really appreciative of your taking the time to write it. We always strive to provide the best possible service to our clients, both old and new and to have that work recognised by those who matter most makes a real difference to our team of carers, who undoubtedly love what they do. It is truly a pleasure supporting your son both with his care needs and out in the community.

We chose FlexiCare two years ago to help my brother and I care for Mum at home after checking out the website including the reviews. We work together as a team to enable Mum to have the best possible quality of life despite her frailty. The carers are all amazing, compassionate, professional and efficient.
They treat Mum with respect and maintain her dignity at all times.
Infection control measures are robust and staff have kept Mum (who is extremely vulnerable) as safe as possible from Covid and other respiratory illnesses with consistent use of appropriate PPE.
Visits are punctual and not rushed, the management team are easy to contact. Communication is excellent, with handwritten notes from each visit.
FlexiCare is true to its name as we can easily arrange for extra visits to cover for one of us to take a holiday.
Our family will always be grateful to FlexiCare for enabling Mum to remain cheerful and content in her familiar home environment for as long as possible.

Flexicare were recommended to us. We in turn would highly recommend their services. They provided efficient and professional support /office services. Being very easy to contact, courteous and responsive. The carers were of a very high standard. Being very punctual - looking back, we’re are amazed at
their timekeeping. They were very reliable and always attended to mum whatever the weather. They were genuinely caring, patient and understanding even when mum’s deteriorating health made her more difficult to deal with. Some of the carers visited mum hundreds of times and one lady had over a thousand visits. It is difficult to convey how grateful we are to these individuals.

My mum had assistance from Flexicare for 6 years, they enabled mum to live at home while living with dementia. The girls that visited mum 3 times a day were, kind, honest and respectful to mum. The manager of Flexicare went above and beyond, not only for mum but for us all as a family. I cannot recommend
this company enough, they are outstanding care providers.

Thank you for such a lovely review, it was a pleasure providing care for your mother. Over the years the girls thoroughly enjoyed visiting her and she was sorely missed when she had to go into residential care. The girls fondly remember doing word searches with your mum on a regular basis.

Both my aunt and I are very pleased with the service provided by Flexicare at Home. My aunt has dementia and the care and kindness offered by all her carers is wonderful as well as being reassuring. They are polite, prompt, reliable, very willing to help and find solutions to any problems. They're particularly
patient with me and my anxieties over my aunt's condition and offer sound advice and problem-solving no matter how trivial my worry may seem. Thank goodness Flexicare are available and the staff they employ seek nothing but to offer excellence in care. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

For the last 2 1/2 years in the life of my wife, who was suffering from Alzheimer's, I had the services of Flexicare At Home. I could not have chosen a better company. The management and staff were excellent. The girls who came attend to the needs of my wife, in all kinds of weather, were punctual and
carried out their tasks with tenderness, professionalism and dignity, pointing out, at times, where improvement could be made to her situation by obtaining equipment such as hoists etc. On many occasions, the carers treated my wife as one of their own family by giving her a little kiss on her forehead before they left. Little touches like this give you the reassurance that they do really care for their clients. I would have no hesitation in recommending Flexicare to anyone seeking care services for their loved ones.

Reply from Kevin Whaley, Manager at Flexicare At Home

Thank you for such kind and considerate words, it truly was a pleasure to support you and your wife during such a challenging time. The carers often speak fondly of you both and miss the little treats you would give them during their visits. We hope you are staying safe and well, please keep in touch.
