Home Instead provided homecare to my mother for 4 years. During that time his needs changed as she became more unwell with dementia and physical challenges.
Home Instead visited with the family to ensure the appropriate care was provided throughout. They provided efficient and responsive administrative
support but most importantly they sought to provide consistent carers who provided excellent care to my mum. I have nothing but respect for those who cared for mum with such patience and compassion.

We needed 24-hour care for a terminal cancer patient. Six carers were assigned. All were considerate and attentive. Three were exceptional in using their initiative and solving issues as they arose with the patient's deterioration and difficulties. It was a genuine team effort and we were sufficiently
satisfied to be able to return to our home outside the UK after a one week cycle.

One minor concern was referred to the supervisor and addressed satisfactorily by her and the team. The carers also made sure that a weak District Nurse finished her duties properly.

The people caring for my husband with frontal, temporal dementia have been intelligent, knowledgeable, kind, sensitive, attentive, thorough, pleasant, fun and professional. They come four times a day for one hour each time. I had hoped for a care of a high standard and have received it. The carers are
checked intermittently by management who are flexible and friendly in caring for the needs of all concerned. We have been able to keep him happier and safe in his own surroundings.

I am writing on behalf of my family to thank you and all the wonderful staff at Home Instead for all the help and support you have given me over the last years in caring for my mother. You made me feel I had made the right decision and I was confident that you would provide all the help I needed at
such short notice. I will always be grateful for that telephone conversation. I would like to commend all the carers who looked after mum during those last two weeks but especially the carer with much kindness and expertise inspired me with confidence. I also highly commend mum's regular carers, who looked after her so brilliantly. They are a great credit to Home Instead. Finally, I would like to pay tribute to the lady and gentleman who man the telephones and who are always so helpful and obliging. In sincere appreciation and thanks.

I trust Home Instead Senior Care. My mother has had the same carers for at least 4 years and she knows their faces. When I have my 3 hours off each day I know mum is safe with the carer. I rely on them all.

We came to Home Instead when my uncle was living alone in his flat, and becoming less able to cope on his own. The carer that Home Instead provided was just the perfect person to support my uncle. Over the months, his dementia became worse and eventually, my uncle had to move from his flat into a home.
The carer continued visiting my uncle on a weekly basis and this contributed greatly to his quality of life.

Can I just say that there is a lady carer who is most caring, helpful, kind and understanding carer that I have ever had experience of. The way she works with my parents is a wonder. She is really a great big part of the family now, and I have to say, I would not know what we would do without her. She
is absolutely worth her weight in gold and does so much to keep my parents in the best health, understanding their needs and helping us to guide the family through the difficult diagnoses that have recently been given to both of my parents. It has been a tough time for us all, and with her being a fourth member of the family team that includes me, my sister and brother-in-law we have been able to navigate through the issues of the diagnoses and the resulting practical implications that they have created. She is more than a carer for my parents, she is a friend and confidant, and support to my parent's needs, both practical and personal. An absolute gem!

Home Instead is very worthwhile they are punctual, they always clean up after themselves and they leave a very tidy kitchen, can't ask for anymore than that. My daughter always comments on how tidy the carers leave the kitchen.

From the beginning, we were impressed by Home Instead staff, who were kind, friendly and willing to work with us to ensure my father in laws care was personalised. Communicating with the office was easy and requests for changes or extra help responded to efficiently. Having a small dedicated team caring
for my father in law, was just what he needed and accepting carers allowed him to live at home alone for over a year. We found Home Instead Senior Care (Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich) via a new recommendation and we have no problems in recommending them to others seeking personalised care for a loved one.

When I think back to this time last year & how worried I was that I would never be able to provide adequate care for my mum at home well...I never dreamed that she could be so well cared for by such lovely people.
I really don't know how I would have coped without the wonderful support of the management
Both ladies are extremely capable & always seem to do far more that I would ever expect of them. I am incredibly grateful for their kindness & compassion. The care that they provide for mum is more than I could ever hope for.
I think your branch of Home Instead Senior Care (Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich) is wonderful & I'm extremely glad I found you.

My experience has been that they are both professional and caring. On vital element is that the carers remain in place over a long period without constant changes in personnel. Home Instead have provided this. Previous agencies did not.

My wife's carer provides companionship and affection. She is skilled in ways to occupy her and maintain her interest. The carer is professional in her attitudes, tactful in knowing when to take or relinquish control and unfailingly sympathetic. She is respected and liked by me and my adult children.
The agency itself is meticulous in its dealings with me and always does what it says it will.

My family have always been very involved in the care industry and I have been brought up with an appreciation of the positive effects that good care has on people’s lives. My parents between them have over 65 years’ experience running residential homes and providing support to the elderly, and I really wanted to follow in their footsteps and specialise in providing quality care to senior citizens and those with physical and learning disabilities. Having been hospitalised after an accident some years ago, I required several months of home care and it was during this period that I realised the huge effect well trained, caring, compassionate and considerate carers can have on one’s emotional wellbeing, independence and quality of life. As a result of my experience I ensure that all our CAREGivers are highly trained, compassionate individuals whose focus is on delivering quality, dependable, personalised care to every one of our clients, every single day
