I don’t know what we would do without HRM Home care, the level of service they provide is just amazing, all staff who support my family member are so respectful kind caring and very professional, they have made a huge impact on their daily lives and given them confidence to live in their own home, also
allaying any fears as a family as to how our family member will be supported.

We are happy with the care my uncle receives. The care staff are friendly, efficient and very patient. We are very grateful for their support, especially during the pandemic. If there are any issues, we are told about them straight away.

Mum has been receiving care for two years now and has had challenges and has deteriorated within that time. I am so grateful to the staff that care for her, they are kind, compassionate and have built a lovely relationship with Mum, they go beyond what is stated in their job description and I cannot
thank them enough.

Over the last year, my experience with HRM Homecare Services has been exceptional. They have never not turned up. Despite being seriously understaffed due to Covid I have had the operations manager and area manager doing my care when needed, even on Christmas and New Year's days. They have also supplied
agency when required. I can't fault them at all. Staff are courteous and helpful at all times, even going in their own time to get my phone fixed when it broke in hospital and my support workers kept not turning up when I got home, nipping to the pharmacy and getting essential food items for the same reason, without getting paid for these times either. I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all the girls.

I feel we have to pick up lots of pieces and the carers only do the bare minimum. The carers always leave things behind and we have to clean up. Most of the carers cannot cook and we have to prepare and do dishes etc. They also do not see to Nana's toilet needs and leave her to her own devices and we
have to help some days, she can't get about. We have to tell them to wash her etc.

Outstanding, first-class service provided by a kind, efficient and friendly team. The app provided is invaluable, as I can check daily in between my visits that Mum has received her visit, and the feedback given by carers reassures me that all is well.

My main issue is that they can't give a time in the morning/evening which suits for medication. The times are very erratic. They can be in after 6pm for dinner and back at 7.30.
The usual carers are very professional and helpful but I feel any agency staff that come in are just there for the money
and to do as little as possible.

All the ladies who attend to my wife are very friendly, chatty, professional and polite. Also very patient and caring.
A special mention to the manager who was very helpful in addressing a small issue which we had.

Mum started with carers at the end of January so very early days. We have been impressed with the service and staff have gone out of their way to help her. Due to staff shortages, she has had a few late visits. Would definitely recommend.

I think HRM Homecare Services - South West is the same as any private care company, the more clients they take on the more money they make, this puts the carers under pressure so the client suffers as the carers try to get in and out as quickly as possible so client does not get the time allocated.
Also there is no continuity of care as they keep changing the carers.

Social Care is facing an unprecedented national recruitment shortage in both the statutory, third and independent sectors and we are also still in the grips of a global pandemic. Unfortunately, as a result, staff shortages and amendments to allocated times for care visits are a sectoral wide issue in the present climate. HRM have however ensured that every service user has received their visits throughout this particularly difficult time.

An extremely professional company offering first-class care to my mum.
The girls go above and beyond to care for my mum.
The office is very helpful.
The app is great to review mum's day to day care and well being.
The extra support in the house i.e dishes, bins and washing also makes such a difference
to me as I run my own business full-time.
Honestly could not do without this team.

I am happy with the service my father is receiving. The staff are pleasant and friendly. I do find some staff members go above and beyond, making life so much easier for myself and my dad. They treat him with respect and show compassion. I have not rated excellent as some carers are placed with not
being before and then might not be back again. But we are happy.

The care and support provided to my dad have been exceptional. Having carers visit my dad 4 times a day has given me peace of mind that he is being looked after and less of a danger to himself. Having the app is really useful to be able to read the reports documented on my dad of the care that he is
receiving. My dad has also commented that his carers are very kind and considerate to his needs and always go out of their way to help him in any way they can.

Can’t say a bad word about any of the staff calling to aid me as they are always very friendly and starting to feel more like family as settled into the same staff calling.
