To date, the service has been excellent. It has helped both my Dad and the family in a major way with the current care being provided. Things are becoming more difficult as time goes on and we are hopeful of further assistance being provided by HRM due to their input to date.

Carers have built up a relationship with my Uncle and treat him with dignity and respect. They all ensure he is fed well and provide gentle encouragement regarding personal hygiene. The shopping service is a real lifesaver for us.

My father is happy with his overall experience with HRM. Consistency of carers is his main concern and that is ok most of the time. He has no real issues with HRM and likes the care staff very much.

Mum finds the carers are all friendly and cheerful. Keen to offer help where it is needed. They are all happy to chat with north of us, especially when some help or reassurance is needed.
She is happy and relaxed with her carers. She needs continuity.

I have been using Homecare Services for approximately 2 years and 6 months and I am very satisfied. With the care which has been provided. I appreciate the continuity of two carers who visit me on different days of each week on a rota system.
I am disabled and for the most part, housebound. They each
help me with any household chores and I thoroughly enjoy a chat and share the humorous side of family life, which acts better than any medication. I look forward to my visits from each carer on the morning visits, who provide a valuable service.

Present carers are pleasant and very capable. Queries to the office have been dealt with in an efficient manner. I do, however, find the constant turnover of staff so difficult to cope with - although lately, things seem to be improving.

As in all jobs we do get people that want to move onto pastures new and unfortunately all don't give us the proper notice to allow us time to fill the positions. We do try to keep continuity with all our services where we can even if its just for a short time until we recruit the right people for the role.

I am really happy with the support and care I have been receiving from HRM Homecare services. The carers are really friendly and treat me with dignity. Since my wife passed away in August, they have been very supportive and I look forward to their visits each day.

I find all staff are conscientious. I am satisfied with their support. I understand it must be difficult to keep to a timetable, being understaffed and some unforeseen circumstances. That is my only issue, time for your staff to complete their duties.

Despite several phone calls re: rotas not being given, my mum and dad are still in limbo. They were assured that the one carer who came in would be in all day - this is not happening and is not acceptable! This is upsetting my parents - please get it sorted!

Concerns were rectified and a weekly schedule is now sent. Unfortunately, due to carers' shift patterns, it is not always possible to provide the same carer all day every day but we do aim to provide continuity where we can.
