Right at Home (East Lancashire and Ribble Valley) provides quality care to clients in the Blackburn, Clitheroe, Whalley, Waddington, Read, Hurst Green, Ribchester and other Ribble Valley villages, Hyndburn and surrounding areas. Their live-in care can be provided further afield.

The services are tailored to clients' needs in the comfort of their home, with the aim of improving the quality of life and reducing social isolation.

The company, which was given an 'outstanding' score for responsiveness in its CQC inspection in December 2017, can provide all levels of personal care to anyone over 18 and caters for a wide range of needs and disabilities (physical or learning), including short and long-term, complex and night care.

It also offers post-operative care, respite and its increasingly popular 24/7 live-in care for clients who would prefer to stay at home rather than move into residential care.

Right at Home has particular expertise in dementia - led by the MD who is an Alzheimer's Society's dementia champion.

The team at Right at Home East Lancashire and Ribble Valley - and they are a team - have been providing care and support to my wife for a couple of years on a daily basis. Both she and I can not speak highly enough of this friendly, caring, professional, local and truly wonderful group of human beings
who provide tailored personal care and support to my wife at our home. They are reliable and go the extra mile every time without asking. The office team are supportive, approachable and proactive. The carers are without exception amazing, caring and loving in equal measure. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else needing care and support. I know I can trust them with my wife's welfare and well-being.

A great service with caring, trustworthy and reliable staff. They've worked with us through issues brought about by my dad's condition with sensitivity and consideration. My help comes for two hours each Tuesday. She is punctual and polite and I appreciate all the things she does for me. I look forward to her visit and pleasant company and my house is clean and tidy, which I couldn't achieve myself.

I am very grateful to have been rushed from the hospital by my solicitor. I am now very fortunate to be cared for, in my own home, by Right at Home.
I fully agree with their ideals and standard of care, aiming to increase my independence, and soon I may be able to use my equipment and again for daily
showers.
I couldn't do this without the care if my great team of carers.

I cannot fault the staff at Right at Home. They are courteous, polite and willing to assist when there is an issue to resolve. On the odd occasion when a staff member is delayed they always inform my auntie which puts her at ease. She says it's like having a family member visiting and that the experience
we as a family required.

I contacted Right at Home in January to support my Mum who had been in hospital following a fall and subsequent hip replacement operation. We’ve been so delighted with the care and support provided (as has my Mum, most importantly) that she continues to have twice weekly visits for help with cleaning
and shopping.
As I live some distance away and can’t visit as often as I’d like, the staff at Right at Home provide Mum with practical help and a regular chat with a friendly face, and me with the peace of mind that my Mum has the support she needs.
All the carers have been friendly, helpful and kind with a ‘nothing too much trouble ‘ attitude.
I would recommend this service to anyone.

We called upon Right at Home (East Lancashire & Ribble Valley) in an emergency. The care agency that had been offering live-in-care for our Mum were failing to offer the most basic level of care and respect. How glorious it was then when two carers from Right at Home (East Lancashire & Ribble Valley)
arrived. They have offered my Mum the very best of herself, assisted in recent weeks by a third carer. The standard of provision has been faultless. The level of communication has been simply wonderful. We are truly conflicted by the recent need to transition into residential care but my Mum has made three more friends.

Following my own father's Alzheimer's diagnosis, and the realisation we needed support, I contacted my local Right at Home to see if they could provide the best possible care. I was so impressed by the way they supported my father, their commitment to providing high-quality homecare and the small team that was carefully matched to my father's preferences. This inspired me to open my first office in Calderdale. When the opportunity came along to open Right at Home East Lancashire and Ribble Valley, it was an easy decision and one that I did not hesitate to make, Today, I carry those same high values across to the clients that we care for. Making sure we make a difference and help promote independence & dignity.


I am extremely proud to have the opportunity to expand and take on new ownership of Right at Home East Lancashire and Ribble Valley. With a reputation for being one of the best homecare providers in the area, their commitment to making a difference and their community involvement, we are looking forward to strengthening our range of services and continuing our commitment to ensuring all our clients receive the best care possible!

With a background in residential care and management, Elsa joined Right at Home initially as a CareGiver, fitting in her work around her young child, then progressed to the role of Care Coordinator, all the while studying for a degree in Health and Social Care. Subsequently, she was delighted to accept the post of Registered Manager.

Tracy holds a wealth of care experience, having started in residential care at the age of 16 years old, and soon progressed onto a senior, then activities coordinator - all thanks to her passion for helping others and developing her knowledge further. She also became a stroke champion and dementia friend.
