I cannot rate the Bluebird Care team highly enough. They have been caring for my 98-year-old father since April 2019. He has early-stage Alzheimer's and other health issues. I have complete faith and peace of mind that my father is in good hands. He also enjoys the visits. His morning visits include
making sure he is up, washed, dressed, breakfast is prepared and medication taken. They always have time for a quick chat. The evening visits ensure he has a hot meal and he takes his medication. Dishes are washed, bedding changed, putting the rubbish bins out. If the carers have any concerns they contact the management who are quick to contact me straight away. The team are always on time and are professional and show care and empathy towards my father who is a tad eccentric and has always been very independent.

As a stroke survivor, I have been very pleased with the care I have been given during the past four years. My care plan is regularly updated and my needs are met. I receive a weekly schedule which informs me about sich carer will be coming and the time they will come. I am always informed about any
changes which need to be made.

I have worked specifically in Domiciliary Care for over 13 years and have gained a great passion for my career in care, and making a difference in people’s lives where I can.


Over my time with Bluebird Care since 2015, I have taken on many roles from Care Worker to Supervisor, Care Coordinator and now Care Manager.


This gives me great knowledge, experience and understanding of each integral part of maintaining safe, effective person-centred care for each of our customers. I always ensure I take time to get to know each customer we care for and their needs, and I will always aim to go above and beyond to provide the highest standard of care.

Emily has over five years of experience in domiciliary care, holding various positions, including Care Assistant, Care Coordinator and Care Supervisor. Emma originally worked as a payroll manager for several years before joining the health and social care industry as a care assistant in 2013 supporting customers health, safety and well-being.


In her time she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working with younger/older adults as-well as adults with mental health and learning disabilities. Through dedication and hard work, she progressed through various roles within the industry before becoming a care coordinator. She is also a qualified moving and handling ‘train the trainer’ and now working towards her diploma/NVQ level 5 in care management.


Her primary role as a care coordinator is to ensure we deliver high quality care with correct allocation of staff and supporting customers to continue to live independently at home.


Emma is very enthusiastic about arts and crafts, baking and have a huge passion for crochet and charity work.
