Eden Care provide a sense of security and continue to enable me, aged nearly 90, to live alone at my flat. A carer visits me twice daily.
The carers are well trained, reliable and friendly. Likewise the staff are always available should an issue require contact. Communications are first class with
an up to date IT system. My children share my confidence in Eden Care.

Your service has been very helpful in providing relief for my mother’s live-in carers. I particularly appreciate the continuity for my mother of having the same carers most of the time.


The 2 regular carers are great. There have been one or two in the past who have interpreted ‘sitting service’ as

just sitting with rather than engaging with.

We asked for a 24 hour carer after my husband dislocated his shoulder on December 25th. The carer stayed for twelve nights and was a great help and cheering house guest.

At times I am well looked after but I find they have to cut 5/10 minutes off to get the next appointment. Some just do the minimum, spend more time submitting their reports. One day it seemed that she spent writing up what she didn't do, I ended up helping myself when I felt I was able to help but
now I am older, the care I need should be there for me. I am so tired as the pain keeps me awake and I have a sheet not to be woken up at 7:45 but at 10:15 in the morning.

Eden Care At Home provided care for my husband over a period of years. I found the carers to be friendly, caring, capable and extremely punctual. They were always reliable and had time for me too. As my husband's condition worsened, they re-assessed him and provided extra nursing help. In the end, he
was moved downstairs using bowls and commodes most expertly.

We are now into our 5th week of care. The client has been extremely difficult and fraught. The process, unable to understand why it was necessary or needed, on the basis that she knows how to look after herself. However thanks to the carers patience and support, suddenly at the end of week 4 into week
5, she has accepted the care offered and changed completely. She now sees the carers as friends. It is a great relief to see her bathed daily and in clean clothes. She has been uncooperative, rude and offensive.

The staff have always been excellent in their duties, competent, cheerful and mostly punctual. Their schedule can delay them at times with hiccups. The management has been very helpful at all times and I know help is at hand for emergencies. No faults, just praise.

Eden Care have consistently provided sensitive, personal care to my elderly aunt who is resident in a local care home. We would not hesitate to recommend them to other families in a similar situation to supplement our own visits and help with admin such as shopping and visits locally.

Eden Care had been the care provider for my aunt for nearly three years. She was always treated with respect, they left everything tidy, were efficient at their jobs, polite, friendly, not always on time but sometimes this can't be helped. If they were really late we usually got a phone call to say
this.
I liked the fact that most of the carers were the same people, this built up a good relationship. My aunt, unfortunately, passed away but throughout her last days, the carers were very gentle, kind and understanding to her needs.

In the two years, I've had the pleasure of using Eden Care At Home I can't fault them. I've had excellent service and wouldn't be as well as I am without them. One fault is the contact between office staff and myself is not always good, difficult sometimes to get them on phone and not told when someone
isn't coming. No transport arranged for an event.

Most clients are attentive, pleasant and know what to do. It seems a good idea to have an 'items to do list' for each person. Occasionally the staff arrive late and that can make it difficult for me to plan my day.

My mother has had a live-in carer from Eden care for nearly 2 years. Her care has been exemplary - full of love and affection as well as knowledgeable and supportive to the family. I believe we are a fantastic example of how good care makes a difference and allows a life of dignity and respect.

We have always had a well-trained, efficient and pleasant carer. Their skills include cheerful chatter which is much appreciated. Our only criticism is the arrival of fortnightly invoices - would prefer to pay monthly.
