Home Instead offers outstanding quality of the care by taking time to understand what each person needs and what makes them happy.

Providing clients with the right home care so they can maintain their independence and dignity and continue to enjoy life, Home Instead understands the importance of spending time with people; sometimes just being there is as important as getting the jobs done.

Home Instead Bagshot visits people throughout the Ascot, Camberley & Wokingham area, including Bracknell, Chobham, Lightwater and all the areas in between. They help with most of the things people need to stay in their own homes, including meal preparation, shopping, light housekeeping, medication and personal care.

Home Instead's minimum visit is an hour so you don't have to rush and you'll see the same person most of the time so you can plan your week together.

The Ascot office is part of a wider group that cover the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire borders and have additional facilities such as a wheelchair accessible vehicle and raiser chair incase of a fall.

Home Instead CAREGivers are carefully selected, properly trained and their 4 references have been checked. They are genuinely caring and share the company ethos of treating their clients as they would want their own parents to be treated.

I have called upon the services of this agency once before in 2014 and again now. I am lacking in confidence when walking in the town and need someone to lean on! I drive my car but feel very wobbly on my feet when I get out of the car. The assurance of someone being with me to help getting up and down
kerbs, opening stiff doors etc is most important to me. Everywhere else I manage well.

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.889) out of 10 for Home Instead (Ascot, Camberley and Wokingham) is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.889 for Home Instead (Ascot, Camberley and Wokingham) is calculated as follows: ( (16 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 18 Ratings = 4.889

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Home Instead (Ascot, Camberley and Wokingham) is based on 3 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 4

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Deputy Care Manager

I joined the office team at Bagshot in September 2018, having previously worked as a CAREGiver for the Woking branch until I moved closer to Bagshot.

I’ve loved working for Home Instead as a CAREGiver, helping to support individuals so they can carry on living at home independently.

My role now is to meet new clients and help them design the kind of support they would like to receive, visit our existing clients to make sure they're happy with the support they're receiving and deal with questions from our team of CAREGivers.

I am very much looking forward to my new role and getting to know all of the clients and CAREGivers.
