Home Instead cared for my mother for 6 and a half years enabling her to stay at home for the last years of her life. The carers were always polite, patient, conscientious, friendly and considerate of her needs. Home Instead was always on hand to answer questions and they liaised with the medical teams.
She was looked after extremely well and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing care to stay at home.

We are very happy with the care given by Home Instead. We were allocated a carer with whom we get on really well as we have shared interests. She is very kind and lets my friend decide what help she needs. We are also regularly contacted by Home Instead to check that we are totally satisfied with everything
which is excellent service.

I have been really pleased with the service from Home Instead. My mother has dementia, and they have made it possible for her to remain in her own home. The admin side is efficient and reliable, and the carers are kind and very helpful. They also are also well matched to the clients. They update an
app after every visit, which I can view and helps me to keep on top of things as I live far away. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Home Instead have been just wonderful for my mother-in-law. The carers are well-matched and have built trusting relationships. She looks forward to them coming in every day. The regular reviews are great and give an opportunity to discuss things and make changes where necessary. I would recommend Home
Instead for anyone who is looking for a home care service.

Home Instead have provided excellent live-in care for three days a week for our elderly mother since October 2022, following a stroke. Unfortunately, the stroke in 2021 left Mum non-verbal and this means communication can be very tricky. Home Instead rose to the challenge and their carers are patient
and calm, and are cheerful and encouraging to Mum, establishing a relationship with her when she often finds her situation confusing and frustrating. Repeat visits from the same familiar small team of carers reassure Mum and us that they can get straight into the daily routine. Home Instead have been consistently reliable and have never let us down. Our confidence in Home Instead has meant that we have been able to keep Mum in her own home rather than moving her to residential care, where we feel she will be at a significant disadvantage due to her inability to communicate. We have been impressed by the efficient organisation of the admin team, and the reviews carried out in the form of weekly home visits have reassured us that they have Mum’s best interests at heart. We can certainly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for compassionate and considerate care at home.

I really don't know what we would have done without Home Instead and the wonderful way in which they have cared for first Mum and then later Dad too. Caring from a distance is so difficult but the whole team has made the experience so much easier and both of my parents benefited so much from the wonderful
support they received for a number of years. Everyone from the head office through to each individual carer has been brilliant - so caring and understanding, becoming more than just professional carers but people we could truly rely on to put our parents' needs first. Sadly both our parents are now in residential care but using Home Instead gave them many extra years of independence - I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Excellent service. Carers are compassionate, kind, patient and always on time (which is very important for an elderly person). I live in the U.S. and my 97 year-old father resides in Milton Keynes. Living at home (as opposed to in a care home) is very important to my father and simply would not be possible
without the support of Home Instead. Great service overall!

I'm so glad to have found the team at Home Instead to provide care for my mother. Mum has very quickly got to know the small team of carers and feels more confident to remain in her own home with their daily visits. It has also given me considerable peace of mind to know I can trust the lovely people
who come to care for her.

I write to let you know what an exemplary service Home Instead (Milton Keynes) gave to my 90 year old mother over the past years. Each member of the Home Instead team from the carers to the managers showed a fantastic level of professionalism, compassion and care to Mum over a number of years and if
it had not been for their excellent care and kindness Mum would not have been able to stay in her own home for as long as she did.
Whilst Mum's memory is so challenged now and she finds it difficult to remember anything, my sister and I will always be grateful for the support that Home Instead (Milton Keynes) gave to Mum and for the peace of mind that they consequently gave to us.

Home Instead has been supporting my mother, who is 92 and suffers from dementia, for over a year now, and we are delighted with the care and help they provide, with regular carers who are reliable and really do care. Helps put my mind at rest that she is receiving top-quality care.
Thank you, team.

We started using Home Instead for my 90-year-old mother in September 2022 and have been delighted with the service ever since. The carers are outstanding and have made a real difference to my mum's quality of life, not to mention mine. Over the summer, Mum was quite poorly and mostly bedridden, but
today she is up and about, even venturing outside for short walks in her patio garden. Everyone has commented on how much better and brighter she looks, and this is all down to the encouragement, friendship, care and support Home Instead staff offer. Whilst some of the Home Instead infrastructure, IT systems and regulations can be a bit confusing at times, you know you're in capable hands, and the whole organisation is very efficient and well-run. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone looking for an alternative to residential care; it really is a gold-standard service.

My mother is 92 years and fairly frail but really switched on most of the time. Four different Carers support her with three visits a day and they have proved to be amazing people. We could not be happier with their dedication to supporting Mum in a super friendly manner. They are bright bubbly and
Mum basically perceives them as friends who help her! Nothing seems to be too much trouble, and this is really appreciated. In addition, the office staff are tops to deal with and any request is acted on in a speedy manner, thanks ladies! This is a life changing experience for Mum!

My parents began their journey with Home Instead when both in their late 80s. My mother's mobility problems meant she needed help with household tasks, some of which my father struggled with. Although very proud and private individuals, my parents accepted the carers who soon put them at ease, and over
time became like members of an extended family. Especially as my parents' health and strength slowly declined over seven years, and they relied on the carers more and more for personal care too. The company take the trouble to match clients and caregivers, and even through Covid introduced any new carer before they joined the team, and reviewed the provision regularly. I can't praise the team highly enough for their flexible approach as my parents each approached the end of their lives - and how much positive difference they made to all of us. I was able to be a daughter not a carer. The care was of the very highest standard and was care in all senses of the word. Recommended unreservedly.

Home Instead provided care for my wife two mornings a week from December 2019. The Carers quickly established a good rapport with my wife and she regarded them as friends. Carers arrived on time always gave my wife the time needed to provide for her needs. A wellbeing check was carried out at each visit
and any causes for concern were immediately communicated to me. Home Instead carried out regular reviews to ensure that the care provided was appropriate to my wife's needs. The administration team were helpful at all times. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for a professional yet friendly care team to support their needs.

Mum has had carers with Home Instead [Milton Keynes] since well before Covid, taking her shopping for food, taking her to hospital appointments, light cleaning but so much more. They have been kind, caring, reliable, proactive, and helpful in so many ways, and have meant that Mum could live independently.
We have changed the pattern of calls quite often to suit Mum, and each time the office has been happy to consider and adjust, with no problems.
Over the years, Mum has made some really good friends with the carers, and we are sad to leave but she now needs residential care.
Thank you so much for your help, can highly recommend.

We engaged Home Instead to help Mum after she came out from hospital and needed help with independent living. The staff have been 100% helpful at all times and we are very pleased at how well the service is working. Mum enjoys the company and we feel Mum has lovely staff looking out for her. It’s been
the best decision to have Home Instead.

I didn't want to get carers in for Mum; I thought I could do it all. But as Mum's needs increased, we decided to look around. I found Home Instead and another company; I contacted both, and Home Instead stood out by a mile as a professional, caring company that I felt was right for my mum. They started
in February 2022, and we've never looked back. They are a God send. My mum loves them; she has amazing carers who she has built a lovely relationship with. I get respite while they are there, and it totally feels like we care for my mum as a team. Home Instead do regular checks to make sure all is going well and that the care package is still suitable for Mum's needs. There's always a lovely response if you phone the office, and nothing is too much for them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead. Oh, did I mention the app? Amazing. I can see everything about the visit on the app, which makes my time away from Mum worry-free.

Service is in my blood and when researching the Care Industry, I felt that this is a skill that would prove very useful.

I have lived near Olney for over 20 years with my husband Matt and 2 boys, (now both young adults,) lovely Phoebe my Wheaten Terrier and 2 cats, Shadow & Mr Mugabe (he really is a dictator!) In my spare time I love reading and walking in the lovely parks around our home.

Since starting up Home Instead in 2012, we have supported so many wonderful clients to facilitate their wishes to stay at home, wherever that may be, in the place they love or where they feel most comfortable. Getting help or admitting you might need some assistance isn't always an easy decision to make but we have many years’ experience in the sector and know that choosing the right care is just so important. I do feel very proud of my team of office colleagues and CAREGivers who have embarked on this journey with me - we are always looking at ways we can improve and add another dimension to our wonderful clients' lives.

I started in Health and Social care 17 years ago, when I moved from London to Buckinghamshire. I had two small daughters and wanted something I could do as well as being a mum. Over the years I have worked as a carer and ran daycare centres for the elderly with the British Red Cross. I joined Home Instead in February 2012 when the office was first established. I have always been passionate about the good quality care that was central to each individual, and the Home Instead ethos matched this. When starting with Home Instead, I was the Registered Care Manager, as the company grew, I developed into the Operations Manager. More recently I have been promoted to the General Manager of the company. I truly believe that we are the best home care company in our area, who has a passionate team in the office and out on the field. Ensuring that our clients get the right people at the right time every day takes dedication and commitment but the rewards are well worth it. I know how important it is to the people we support to be sure that they can rely on us. Just that little phone call to let them know we are on our way or that pint of milk we can get for them on our way over can make all the difference.
