When my father needed extra help in the home, we contacted Home Instead after several recommendations. We have never looked back and more recently had to increase his care due to the deterioration of his Dementia. Home Instead and in particular, our care manager and Dad's carers have been amazing in
going over and above to help Dad with his chores, shopping, friendly chats, walks outside, picking up prescriptions and regular contact with us to ensure he was looked after in the best way possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone. Unfortunately, Dad has had several visits to the hospital now with some complicated medical needs so we have decided once he leaves the hospital to arrange care in a care home as he now needs 24-hour care.

The caring staff are professional and kind at heart, providing the level of care requested. They are punctual and flexible when something additional is needed. Largely, the same carers attend each day and have developed a rapport with my mother in law. Those who I have met are jolly, always brightening
the house. Problems are always flagged to the office in a timely manner. The office is responsive and is equally professional. Record keeping appears good and they always follow through when there is a problem to be overcome. Given that some elderly people can be difficult, the office never once let issues exasperate them. Impossible to fault.

We approached Home Instead on the recommendation of a friend last year when my mother was back at home from hospital having suffered a fall, and needed some help twice a day. From the outset, the care package offered to my mother has been extremely professional and well-monitored, as well as designed
to support my mother's continuing independence at home. A group of lovely carers have all contributed enormously to her well-being, especially in this most difficult of years. Home Instead has never let my mother down, whatever the circumstances, and I’ve seen myself how much she appreciates the reliability and routine of saying to me ’my carer’s coming, I’ve got to get ready!’

I would like to thank, and highly recommend, all of the Home Instead team for going the extra mile and providing my mother - and us as family members - with that stability and assurance we've all needed under the pressures of the pandemic. Attention to detail has meant everything, thank you!

I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough. They have not only provided a superlative level of care, but they have been a huge support to myself during a time that is really emotionally challenging when trying to provide the best support for a loved one who is suffering. They've gone above and beyond
in helping both Mum and myself over the last 9 months. I honestly don't know what I would have done without them!

Home Instead provide my mum with the highest quality care. They are truly outstanding in their care and service. Really professional, kind and always go the extra mile. We were badly let down by another agency, and they came to our rescue immediately and were a huge support. We can't thank them enough.

Needed care visits for my elderly mother, whose health was declining. Rang several providers and was immediately impressed with Home Instead's professionalism. Didn't get a good feeling from many of the others and so chose two to visit us to discuss further. Home Instead's enthusiastic approach and
caring attitude were ahead of the other company, so we appointed them. From the start, professionalism continued throughout. A team of three carers, my mother liked all three, and the kindness and help they gave her. Home Instead seem to be careful choosing their carers, they were all very diligent and lovely people too. Unfortunately, my Mother passed away after two months of using them, but the experience we had was excellent. In the last couple of weeks, we had to increase the visits, and I can say the management in the office did everything to accommodate our requests. We are very grateful to the team and office support. Overall, based on this, I highly recommend!

The 'Home Instead' team cared for me after breaking an ankle, from mid-January, until the end of April 2020. They were always punctual, polite and respectful; often amusing, and happy to chat - both of which helped me to keep my spirits up, as we drifted into 'lockdown'. They were happy to do household
tasks, such as hoovering and ironing, as well as hair washing, and monitoring my walking progress, especially when climbing the stairs; also happy to accompany my morning walks. They were careful to adhere to the virus rules. I found that I looked for them arriving, and was sorry as they left. It was so helpful that they could spend an hour with me. I would be happy to recommend Home Instead.

Mum's carer really tried hard to go the extra mile and support her as she became too frail to manage things for herself. It was a real blessing to have that support, giving us some peace of mind that she was being looked after.

I have had home care assistance over the last year following two bouts of surgery. I found the staff very caring and supportive. Communication with the management was excellent and you were consulted on every element of your care. I continue to have ongoing (though less frequent) visits but I know I
can call for more help if needed.

We have been using Home Instead carers since 2018 and have found them to be reliable, skilful and caring. They have responded particularly well when there has been a health emergency and we (children of the clients) are kept well informed of any changes in wellbeing or behaviour. I have no hesitation
in recommending Home Instead to others.

Home Instead provided care to my mother for four years. The staff and management maintained high standards in all aspects of their service to her and to her family who could be confident their mother was being treated with care and compassion. As our mother’s care needs became more specialised we had
no alternative but to move her to a nursing home. It was sad to leave behind the carers whose care, friendship and company she had enjoyed and relied on for so long.
We have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to others who seek reliable, genuine and effective care for their loved ones.

Brilliant service! Really couldn't have any better. Both my mother and I have been very, very pleased. It's made a massive difference to Mum during a particularly challenging time for her as she's settled into a care home and moved away from friends where she used to live. The carer match has been
perfect. Un-prompted Mum always talks about fantastic it's been to see her. Everyone has been personal and professional throughout.

A very easy, dependable and flexible approach helped tremendously in my mother's recovery from a fall. This has given her the confidence to return to an independent life that she so desired in a much quicker time period than expected.

Home Instead have been providing excellent care to our father for a number of years. The office and management team are superb at keeping us informed at all times and have been faultless in accommodating requests even at very short notice. Over the years father's requirements have changed and the team
have been there to support us every step of the way.

For some time my mother (aged 97) has had Home Instead, providing overnight care and assistance with meals during the day. A few weeks ago my mother had a fall and broke her arm. Quite traumatic at aged 97. From this moment onwards and likely to be for some time yet she has needed 24-hour care and Home
Instead have been able to provide this. An absolutely brilliant service and it was immediately there when desperately needed.

Home Instead will not let you down. I have used their services twice, the first was last year when my mum was about to be released from hospital and I did not know how I would manage. Within hours they arrived to complete an assessment, all the paperwork and had a plan in place to start the next day.
They cared, literally. A fabulous team of 3 managed by a wonderful lady. I am currently using Home Instead to visit my mother in her Nursing Home on companion visits twice a week. This is proving invaluable for Mum who has dementia, almost deaf and does not see well, to have regular one-to-one chat and companionship. This is a huge relief to me as I do not live locally. They are always available on the phone, everyone is efficient and understanding. I don't generally 'do' reviews but I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been extremely pleased and impressed with Home Instead. We were only looking for a companionship visit once a week for my father for now and we had tried several agencies who were not able to accommodate this. But Home Instead have such a refreshing 'can do' mentality. This was no problem for
them and neither was us adding on additional ad hoc visits, including ones at weekends. My sister and I really appreciate having an agency such as Home Instead to support us in caring for my father.
