A good service is delivered by caring individuals. My father has four carers a day.
They meet his needs well and make sure he is safe when leaving. If we have any problems the management team deal with them in a professional and efficient manner. He doesn't always know who is coming as the schedule
can change due to staffing issues but someone always attends.

Westwood carers have provided excellent service to my aunt. Her carers are professional but kind, compassionate, caring and go the extra mile for her. My auntie enjoys their company very much and enjoys her little chats and giggles with them.


I feel so reassured to know that the carers are always

there for her. The office staff provide an excellent service and nothing is a bother to them and they are always keen to help. I would recommend Westwood Care and Support Group to anyone looking for carers.

Westwood Care provides excellent, well-trained, caring staff. My grandad has daily calls from them and often tells me how kind and caring the carers are. Not only do they help him around the house and meet his support needs. They also give him company and chat with him throughout their calls, which
he loves! They will take him shopping when needed, and ensure he is safe whilst out with them. He always tells me how much fun he has had when he goes out with the carers.
He always knows who is coming and when, and looks forward to the friendly face coming to help him.

Westwood has been looking after me since the end of December 2022 to the present day.
The carers are good at all aspects of the job they do and have a good listening ear. I feel that we can talk to them about anything, family as well and they always try to suggest and support us.
They have helped
me with my physio exercises etc and that has got me back on my feet again.

Westwood Care and Support Services have given my husband an excellent standard of care. The carers are all friendly and respond to my husband's sense of humour. They also cheer him up with banter when he is having a low-mood day. They have clearly all been through thorough training with manual handling,
use of the hoist etc. Special attention has been given to prevent pressure sores, especially to his sacrum, to keep the skin intact.
The carers are on time as per the visiting rota.
If I ring the office with a question the phone is answered immediately. If I have to leave a message it is responded to the same day. Another caring side is that they give me support especially when I’m upset. I really appreciate this.
Continuity with carers has been helpful. New carers are shown my husband's routine by the regular staff. I like that they have regular supervision and are encouraged to complete NVQ training. Also regular audit of medications administered.

I would just like to say how very professional Westwood homecare services are. I have been with the service provider for almost 12 years and during that time have hardly ever had any major issues. All the care workers are reliable and friendly.

We have been very happy with the care and support that Westwood Care provided for our Mum on a daily basis for the last six months. The care team were always most friendly and understanding to our mam's needs. We gradually increased the level of care from occasional to three times daily visits as Mum's
condition deteriorated.
The office-based administration team and finance were also superb throughout.

The guys at Westwood are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They are all pet friendly too, which makes life much easier. If they are running late, which is very rare, the staff in the office update me and are always very polite and helpful.

Westwood Care and Support Services have enabled my mum to continue independent living for over five years now; since she had a stroke at the age of 90. Prior to her stroke, she was fiercely independent and it was important to maintain as much independence as possible. All staff at Westwood - carers
and office staff have played a part in preserving her dignity and well being, through their friendly, caring and compassionate approach to every aspect of her needs.

We simply can’t thank Westwood Care enough. They have helped transform the life of our 93 old uncle. His transition from respite to an independent life in his own home wouldn’t have happened without Westwood support. The staff are friendly, helpful and they always go the extra mile. Their care and support
has been invaluable and we couldn’t have done it without them. Nothing is too much trouble and it’s always with a smile. The carers treat people with dignity, consideration and compassion. A thoroughly heartfelt recommendation from us.

We are currently using Westwood Care to help support my mum who has dementia. All of the carers that I have met have been friendly, enthusiastic and above all seem to "get" my mum and understand what she needs. I have had numerous occasions were I have needed to speak to the office and out of office
staff and always found them to be professional, helpful and caring.
I would not hesitate to recommend Westwood Care.

We have been very happy with the care and service we have received for our mother from Westwood Care. The carers are all very friendly and treat our mother with care and dignity through times which have, on many occasions, been rather difficult. The management team and care coordinators have been extremely
helpful and supportive, which I thank them greatly for. They have kept us up to date of situations at all times. Thank you all so much.

Using a care agency to support on son in our home is new to us this year. From the first time we met the Manager, through to the individual staff who visit our home, we have both been reassured and (very importantly) feel at eas.e the staff who visit support our son appropriately, getting to know him

Westwood Care provided care for my mum for a few years. The carers were amazing and my mum grew so fond of them. Nothing was ever too much to ask for and the office staff always bent over backwards to assist with any extra calls she required. I have recommended Westwood Care to many of my friends who
are all as pleased with them as my mum and I were.

I oversee the running of Westwood Care and Support Services and Westwood Care Group. I have a passion for supporting people and helping to improve their lives through quality care and support services. I am very much hands-on and love nothing more than talking to the people we support about what it is they are looking for in a service and how we can help them to achieve their goals and aspirations.


Westwood Care and Support started back in February 2011 when I left my position as Branch manager of a healthcare recruitment agency to follow my own dreams. I wanted to provide a flexible care and support service for people that offered a reliable, consistent service with a small team of Personal Assistants. We have achieved this through hard work and determination and by remaining flexible it means that the people we support are in charge of their care and our service fits in with their lifestyle. We are responsive to people’s ever-changing needs and respond accordingly. We also work closely with their social worker, family, friends and/or advocate.
