Overall Experience

We are extremely happy with the service provided by our Home Instead carers. We like the fact that we nearly have the same carers as we get to know them well and they get to know us.

Overall Experience

We have used Home Instead on a number of occasions over the last few years and always been very happy with the service. For the last few weeks, they have provided carers for my mum and dad so that they could continue to live at home. Sadly, due to increased illness, this is no longer possible and we

have had to say goodbye to the lovely carers who came to help. Without exception, they managed to be both very professional and very friendly, always turning up right on time and providing companionship and care for the whole visit. The management team are also very helpful and they kept us fully informed throughout the period of care at home. The app that the company users to keep family informed of issues during visits was very effective.
In summary, we are very glad to have used Home Instead and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone in a similar situation.

Mum and family, are very happy with her care providers. They have been tailored to suit her needs and her personality and take an interest in her hobbies which is great for her mental health and wellbeing. We have great piece of mind she is well looked after and she loves the fact she gets the same

2 carers and can build a relationship. Not just for January but since the beginning.

Overall Experience

After my mother had a fall and was hospitalised I needed to find a care provider that enabled her to stay in her home of 60-plus years (at the time of the fall she was 90 years old) I decided on home instead and what a fantastic decision that was! She has been able to remain at home with the fantastic

support of her carers and team at home instead. Unfortunately, after a medical issue, she is no longer able to remain at home and has gone into full-time care!
If anyone is looking for the the best care provider in the area and the surrounding area look no further!

Overall Experience

Home Instead have been supporting my father for over a year now and I truly do not know how we would cope without them. The ladies who visit my father are, amongst all their skills, kind. This kindness makes my father feel safe and happy to let them care for him; something we never thought he would

allow as he has always been a proud man who didn't want help.
Since my mum died, my father has given up on life and his mental wellbeing and health have deteriorated enormously. However, the ladies from Home Instead have supported and cared for him in such a way that we have been able to step back and start to worry less about him. They have even now got him to a point where one of the ladies takes him out once a week for a visit to a cafe and a book shop etc.
I have my own business and if all my staff were as remarkable as the team from Home Instead, I would be a happy lady.

Home Instead caregivers have been giving support to my sister-in-law following a stroke in 2017. She has had the same three caregivers for virtually all that time. They are all marvellous, willing to turn their hands to all kinds of different things as well as keeping her and her home in good order.

Overall Experience

Both my sister and I live quite far away from Mum and she has felt really isolated and lonely in the last few years since Dad passed away. Home Instead caregivers have been supporting her for the last few weeks and it has made a real difference both for Mum and us. Mum is noticeably brighter when I

talk to her on the days when she has had a visit and we are less worried about her.

Overall Experience

Home Instead have been able to help my mum stay in her own home for longer. Mum doesn't cope well with change so it was imperative that we had continuity from the care givers. Mum has four ladies visit her at regular times, all of whom are lovely with mum. Mum has set activities she likes to do with

each lady and the routine of this is working very well.
When I have had to request additional visits the administration of this has been excellent and in all cases, this has been accommodated and always with someone Mum already knows, which takes the anxiety away for Mum.
The caregivers have been supportive with doctor appointments and making appointments to fit in when they are with Mum.
I work full time and live half an hour away from Mum, Home Instead have given me peace of mind and I continue to have the caregivers helping mum for as long as she is able to stay in her home.
I would recommend it without hesitation.

Overall Experience

Mum now has three visits a day and all her carers are excellent. When we moved from two to three visits, the team moved very quickly to arrange it. And even when we moved the time of the morning visit, they were so accommodating. Mum's had a few falls over the course of this year and each time the office

has made sure someone is with her until the medical team arrives. As we live abroad, Home Instead provide us with the reassurance that mum is receiving the best possible care to enable her to stay in her own home.

Overall Experience

We have used Home Instead for many years first for the care of both my parents and now for the care of my father who is 98. While the care needed has grown over the years Home Instead have risen to the challenges and met their care needs as they have gown. I find the carers who work for Home Instead

to be excellent both in the care given and the manner in which they interact with my Father. The office staff are very good at relaying any changes in care/carers and answering any queries that might arise.
Often when dealing with a care company either the carers or the office staff let the team down fortunately for us Home Instead meet all mine and my father's needs on both counts. I have the peace of mind that his care is in very good hands.

I would absolutely recommend Home Instead as a very professional, efficient, caring and value for money agency for any loved one. They provide consistency of excellently chosen and lovely matched caregivers with a schedule at allocated times. This service is unique and exceptional being very reassuring

for the service user and family. They will always provide cover if needed so we are never let down last minute. From a relative point of view I can ring the office and the call will always be taken and actioned within quick timescales. New requests and working with external agencies to support the client never phases them and this is definitely another strength Home Instead can be enormously proud of. The App detailing care plans and information together with details of each care giver visit aids outstanding joined up working. We genuinely feel so very lucky to have found you almost five years ago now! Thank you all so much!

We used Home Instead Peterborough for over 18 months now and the care and attention given to my mum was absolutely first class. Reluctant to have anyone in her home, being deaf and partially sighted the carers showed utmost patience and understanding. Even with her fussy food likes, they were so accommodating

in every aspect. Each carer also had time for a chat (via the app) to enable her to communicate with them.
Each carer is chosen with each client's needs specifically in mind - this is I think the thing that sets Home Instead above and beyond all other care agencies.
The App on my phone meant I could see what was happening after every call, putting my mind at rest.
Unfortunately after yet another fall we have had to move Mum to a care home for full-time care but I cannot recommend Home Instead Peterborough enough for letting her continue in her home of 60+ years for just a bit longer.

All the staff, from office to carers, are all so helpful, friendly and were so kind to my dad. He really enjoyed their help and company and cheered him up on his low days. Whatever our issues or concerns, nothing was too much for the staff of Home Instead, for which we will be always grateful.

Overall Experience

Very grateful to the office staff for taking samples to surgery!
I could not have survived without the care I've had from Hom Instead for more than two years. Coping with bowel and bladder problems, pus anxiety and depression has meant that I've needed help with personal care, shopping, light housework

and laundry; it's been good to have the carer carers and having chats with them helped improve my mood. I now have to move to more sheltered accommodation. Will is Home Instead very much.

Home Instead Peterborough is an excellent organisation that can be fully trusted, to not only support the person being cared for, but also the family who are kept briefed at all times. The carers are first class and my sister trusted everyone one of them completely and held each one in high regard for

their friendliness, support and the comfort that they willingly offer. I could not find a care organisation that came anywhere near this standard of service and support. Truly 5 star.

I recommend HomeInstead caregivers without hesitation. The service and care given by HomeInstead to my parents was outstanding. Their caregivers do not just provide physical care or perform allotted tasks - they truly cared for and about first my mother and then latterly my father, enabling them to

continue living at home for as long as possible. The fact that their caregivers have a full hour available means that they can fulfil all the care needs without having to rush and also have time to help out with extra tasks that might arise, or just have time to make a cup of tea and have a chat. This provision of companionship was especially beneficial during the long months of Covid restrictions. I also felt the benefits of the care they provided for my parents because the reporting and notifying of any concerns to me helped alleviate my worry at not being able to visit my parents on a daily basis.
