I have been a client of Home Instead care for six months. The staff, both caring and management have been polite, considerate and receptive to my particular requirements. The ladies that visit me on a daily basis are wonderfully kind and always have time for a few words, in spite of their busy schedules.
I can recommend the service provided by Home Instead without reservation. My daily life is much improved with their assistance.

All the carers were very welcome. They were kind, generous, interacting people who were dedicated to their job of easing the lot of my husband, who suffered from dementia. He is now in a care home. This is the only reason for my link with Homes Instead.

Very professional, caring and compassionate from the first phone call to Home Instead requesting support for my parents in the middle of the pandemic. All the caregivers have been reliable and punctual. They continue to deliver compassionate and dignified assistance with personal care for my mother,
encourage my parents to eat and drink by cooking small tasty meals, and offer companionship and conversation which my father values enormously. The caregiver's standards of light housework are high and they make sure my parents are comfortable and secure in their home on leaving at the end of their tea time visit. The ladies in the office are very professional, responding to queries quickly, full of helpful advice and visit my parents regularly to check that they are happy with the service provided. The caregivers all follow the latest government guidelines regarding PPE which is very reassuring. I fully recommend engaging Home Instead to support your loved ones at home.

Absolutely faultless service and compassion shown from start to finish. Carers were swiftly set up for my husband and they were just such lovely warm professional people. They did not rush things but took time to look after my husband’s needs whilst maintaining his dignity. It was also most reassuring
to know that advice about caring was at the end of the phone so that when my husband went into hospital they were able to advise me about my right to visit during times of Covid. Sadly his needs have changed and I must choose residential care for him. Despite this, I have been told that they are still at the end of the phone should I need further advice.
I fully recommend Home Instead to anyone who is seeking care at home. Many thanks for the wonderful work you all do.

From day one, thoughtful and effective support to my father from committed carers. The back office support has been excellent in ensuring there was always a replacement carer available, in case of illness.

We do try and make our service good value for money but we appreciate domiciliary care costs can be higher than clients hope. We pride ourselves however on having a robust office support function and the fact that we are a Real Living Wage accredited organisation which means that our costs are higher than some other providers. Home Instead has been looking after my mum for several years now. The carers are wonderful, always too happy to help with anything needed and Mum really looks forward to their visits. The office staff are excellent, responsive and very efficient. I have recommended Home Instead to several friends and
they have been as happy as me with their range of services and the sensitive, thoughtful and caring people who provide them.

My Dad had been my mum’s main carer since her stroke, two years ago. He was reluctant to admit that he wasn’t coping and was unsure about having more carers in his home. However, I could see his sense of relief during the initial visit from the Home Instead team. Both Mum and Dad have a lovely relationship
with their carers and enjoy the attention they are given. My family are so grateful for everything they do for our parents and always with a smile! Home Instead went above and beyond to help us as a family during the recent pandemic. Communication between us and the care team has been excellent. Great care with carers individually tailored to clients. Step up to cover emergencies too which offers peace of mind given I live so far away. The daily reports visible via app are really helpful.

We have found Home Instead exemplary. The administrative side of the business are kind, responsive and efficient. The caregivers that visit are of an extremely high standard, are extremely kind and reliable and have very quickly become part of the family. My mum was resistant to having a carer but her
‘companions’ have very sensitively won over her confidence and she now views them as friends and looks forward to their visits. If the caregivers have any concerns they are fed back to me which is very reassuring.
From our very first contact with the company to today I have had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend them

Home Instead (Peterborough Oundle & The Deepings) Caregivers have looked after my mum for more than 3 years - their care has been exemplary.
We have all received magnificent support and care from both the congress and the office team. Home Instead did a great job of helping my mum to stay in her home
and during the difficult days of lockdown went above and beyond to keep her safe and cheerful.

We were recommended Home Instead from our good friends with a view to providing assistance and companionship for my elderly mother. Our aim was to prolong my mother's ability to continue to live independently. I am pleased to report that the service provided by Home Instead exceeded our expectations.
At every stage of the process, Home Instead were efficient and professional and accurately identified my mother's requirements. The care that followed the detailed assessment could not be faulted with all the carers always arriving on time and they were always well presented, courteous and patient. The carers provided much-needed assistance and stimulation for my mother who always looked forward to the visits.Thank You.

We arranged for my 91-year-old mum to have Home Instead carers, based on their excellent reputation. My mum became increasingly unable to manage on her own at home, because of mobility issues. The ladies from Home Instead were all amazing with her and helped her as much as possible. Sadly after only
a few weeks, we realised that even with help, she could no longer live independently, so we’ve had to take the next step and look for long term care.
We would recommend Home Instead to everyone looking for home care. The whole process was totally professional, from the care plan set up by the office staff to the carers and their recording of visits on the app. Thank you all for everything you did to help my mum, you are amazing.

I have already recommended Home Instead several times. All the staff I have dealt with have been kind, courteous, respectful and accommodating. My mum was incredibly resistant to any professional input or help but Home Instead worked with that and her, identifying superb ladies to work with her. My
mum now really enjoys their company and they are a huge help to me.

Our family used Home Instead to provide care for our mum during her last two years at home before residential care became necessary due to dementia. They were always professional, kind and understanding. They provided the same consistent carers so as not to confuse our mum and were supportive of her
needs. The care was tailored to suit her with her best interests as a priority. The communication between the office team, the carers and us was exceptional, they always went the extra mile, with senior managers calling us to offer help and advice when it came to difficult decisions and situations. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them and in fact, we have twice passed their details on to friends who need help with loved ones.

"I have been working with Home Instead for just over 18 months and love it. Not long after starting with the company alongside my usual weekly hours, I took on the 'On Call' role 1 in every 4 weekends. The On-Call CAREGiver role involves me visiting clients that have asked for an extra visit, to cover for CAREGivers if they are unable to work for any reason and to be able to offer up anything at short notice to help clients or family members. This gives me a great opportunity to visit new clients, see new faces and hopefully make a difference in their day.
Just like my regular visits with my own clients this sometimes can involve personal care, helping make their day easier, do their hair, nails, maybe a puzzle or watch their favourite programme with them, bake a cake or simply just offering companionship.
Knowing you sometimes do things that may seem quite small to some people can be something incredibly substantial to others. Coming away knowing you have been able to help someone who could be quite vulnerable is such a humble feeling. In these unprecedented times we could be the only voice they hear that day or face they see as some people are unable to even see their loved ones which over time becomes much harder and being with each client for either an hour or 2 or maybe more gives them something to look forward to. The most rewarding part of being an on-call caregiver is knowing I make a difference.
