I just cannot praise Home Instead enough for all the care, support and friendship they have shown to myself and my sister, who has needed a great deal of support. Sadly, she now needs 24 hour care in a nursing home. The staff who have helped her at home have gone above and beyond in all they've done.
Really concerned and even offering extra shifts to help. We'll be forever grateful.
All the staff in the office have been just amazing, altering shifts around, changing carers if not suitable, keeping in touch with me over any concerns regarding my sister. So friendly and welcoming when I have called at the office to update and discuss things. Mine has been an emotional journey and they have all been ready with a listening ear, happy to let me offload ad keep in contact.
I wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead to anyone I meet looking for help for relatives etc and would happily reassure them in person.
I shall miss my contact with them all. If younger, I would apply for a job!

Home Instead (Rotherham) cared for my mother in the months before she died and then looked after my father in the months before he went into a care home. I could not rate them highly enough. They were reliable, genuinely caring and did so much to enrich what would have otherwise been fairly miserable
months for both my parents. Seeing the same carers each time and being able to develop a relationship with them as individuals really did make a difference.
As an only child, living many miles away and working even further away I was absolutely reliant on Home Instead to look after my parents during the week. The care they received was so good as well as reliable that it made a huge difference to my life was well. I simply did not have to worry if my parents were ok (at least not in the same way) because I knew how well they were looked after.

We have been using Home Instead for almost 12 months and our experience has been excellent. We have 4 people who help us to look after Dad. They are warm, caring professional people and they know how to get the best out of our Dad. He loves them coming to visit- they make him smile and he misses them
on the days they don't visit! It's such a relief and great support for my sister and I to have such lovely people to help us take care of our Dad. I couldn't recommend these 4 people more highly! Look after them Home Instead- they are your greatest assets!

Excellent care provider. Prompt, efficient, kind and caring. Our very elderly aunt was determined no strangers were going into her home to care for her, but necessity won. Was soon won over by lovely staff who cared for her in a professional and thorough manner, with kindness and friendliness. From
operational staff in the office to carers in our aunt's home, we cannot fault. Demonstrated excellent emergency medical care on one occasion which ultimately saved aunt's life.

Right from the initial phone call asking for help, through the process of interviewing and meeting our carers, Home Instead has been head and shoulders above the many other companies we investigated. Our two carers, Helen and Cathrine, are outstanding: kind, respectful, flexible and proactive. My husband,
who was against any form of care is very happy with them and so am I. They even take him out for trips, help him shop and cook and care for him in every way. They are a lifeline.

Home Instead Rotherham were amazing from the initial enquiry all the way through to Dad's final visits before he sadly had to move into a care home. Everyone I met/spoke to from the office staff through to the individual carers were very professional but more importantly really cared. They cared not
just for my Dad but for us ( his children) too and I truly felt supported by all the staff. As neither myself or my brothers lived close to my Dad, the online system was a wonderful way of knowing that Dad was safe and well cared for.

What can I say? Home instead Rotherham are amazing! I am a close friend of an elderly couple who I help in lots of different ways, but I also need the help and support of a care company. We have used home instead for over 2 years now and I can honestly say all staff are fantastic, and professional but
ever so friendly too, this includes the care professionals who visit and everyone I deal with in the office. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them, they do literally go above and beyond every time. I would recommend Home Instead Rotherham to anyone who needs any help, care and support with family or friends. Words don't sum up how they have always been there, through the good times and the bad times. You pay for what you get, which is 5-star care and support, for me as a friend, but also to my friends who need the care to ensure they can stay in their own home. Thank you!

At the point I came across Home Instead, I had struggled to find an adequate home care provider. I am so pleased that this was the case now as it meant I reached out to Home Instead. The care manager who visited was patient and understanding, as it was three visits before Mum agreed to have home care
in place. The ethos of the organisation is great and they have a real person-centred approach. Since putting the care package in place, Mum's needs have changed and she has had several falls resulting in hospitalisation. The office team and home care team have been considerate and flexible during this time, always striving to meet the needs of Mum and support my needs. Following Mum's dementia diagnosis, the team extended an invitation for some dementia training to me and this was invaluable during what has been a difficult time. Mum has accepted the care and appreciates the support. I have been totally satisfied with the service and would recommend to anyone.

I was very apprehensive making the initial call to Home Instead, however, from my first conversation, with one of the staff members, I felt immediately at ease and was comfortable and reassured discussing our situation. I was so grateful that various care alternatives were discussed and was asked what
would work for us rather than being offered a “one option fits all”. It was such a relief to speak to the manager, who was able to organise a home visit within a couple of days to meet all the family members and assess which carers would best suit our family’s needs. Within days we had a care package set up and the manager made sure that each carer was introduced individually, to my parents. The carers are conscientious, caring and compassionate, whilst respecting the way my family likes things done.
We cannot thank Home Instead enough for their continued support and the flexibility of their package to suit our family's ever-changing health issues. I would certainly recommend Home Instead wholeheartedly.

Home Instead Rotherham have cared for Mum for two years. The care provided by her two carers has been 5* They have both gone the extra mile to ensure Mum's care has been of the highest standard and we have always felt that she was safe in their hands. Without the excellent care the carers from Home Instead team provide for my dad and myself, we would not be able to live independently in our home which is filled with memories. In return of Home Instead's care, support and medication my dad's dementia has remained stable.

The caregivers who support my father are outstanding. They are professional and dedicated to their roles. My father (who has Alzheimer's) enjoys their visits immensely. Without a doubt, they care for Dad to the same standard as my sister and myself. We use a diary to let them know what Dad has been
doing, so they can chat with him about when he has been out. The diary is extremely helpful for them to give us feedback. There is 100% certainty a visit will take place, so going away on holiday is never a worry. The office staff answer the phone immediately, no waiting in queues or for a return call, this is both in and out of normal office hours. All matters/changes to dates are dealt with immediately and confirmed by a phone call or email. The management is outstanding, reviews and changes to Dad's care plane are carried out efficiently. Outstanding service for 16-months, faultless.

We are very pleased with the care provided for my mum by Home Instead. Both carers are excellent, and we are very pleased with the support provided by their morning and evening visits. We have found Home Instead to be very flexible with unexpected changes/hospital visits etc. Both carers are very good

Brilliant service all round. Starting from the very first tentative contact we made with the admin staff, my brother and I gained confidence in the company with each contact. Professionality, competence and a large portion of genuine caring came across from everyone we met or spoke to. Attention to
detail and flexibility in caring for mum was excellent. We were informed immediately of anything which seemed out of the ordinary which meant that even living very far apart, we could really trust this team.

All aspects of care and services were fantastic. Mum always cared for to the highest standard where nothing was ever too much trouble. All personal care was given with great respect and dignity. Mum was always the caregivers' priority closely followed by the support they gave me as Mum's primary carer,
helping with laundry, bed changing etc.
Cannot imagine what we would have done without all the wonderful caregivers from Home Instead, Rotherham.

Home Instead provides a high-quality service, unlike other agencies that we have used. There is a minimum session time of 1 hour and carers do not do "back to back" visits or "runs", unlike other agencies. The carers, therefore, arrive on time and the visits are not hurried. Carers are kind, compassionate,
understanding. They have found new ways to keep mum entertained/engaged during companionship visits even though she is in the end stage of dementia. They have adapted to frequent changes in her general condition and mobility. They have also been supportive of me at difficult times. I would highly recommend them.

My only regret is we didn’t find Home Instead earlier. They have been wonderful from the start. My Aunt is really unwell and we needed extra help with one to one time with her. The interest and importance that is placed on finding the right person and fulfilling our needs was very reassuring. We
needed someone to spend quality time with my Aunt, real conversations, sharing interests, being a friend. We have got all this and more and the impact on my Aunt's week has been a pleasure to see and hear about.
