Hello and welcome to Acacia Homecare, an award-winning domiciliary care organisation that provides care to people within their own homes.

Services include companionship, personal care, medication assistance, meal preparations, shopping assistance, light domestic duties, and assistance with social visits or appointments.

The team believe that caring for you or your loved ones isn’t just about helping you get ready in the morning. You have a choice, and they want to help you do the things that you want to do. The care team builds a tailored package that suits customers' needs and requirements, ranging from half-hour visits once a day to four times a day, or even live-in care.

Their pricing structure is easy and simple, whether you are on a half hour rate or one hour rate, that remains the same 365 days a year. There are no extra hidden costs such as evening/weekend rates and you don't get charged extra for bank holidays either, including Christmas day! But be rest assured that carers do get their extra pay on those occasions. Acacia Homecare also do not charge their customers for mileage.

At Acacia Homecare, carers, known as Acacia Angels, recognise that sometimes providing care isn’t enough and that getting out and about can make a big difference. Whether it's a leisurely walk in the park, a picnic, or a trip to the shops – seemingly trivial activities that most people overlook – they can play a crucial role in boosting self-esteem and supporting those who may feel isolated.

They recruit from many different communities at Acacia Homecare, ensuring that carers have relevant knowledge and understanding of various language, cultural, and religious backgrounds. They prioritise the well-being of staff by offering rewards and continuous training and development opportunities. All Acacia Angels are fully trained, hold or are working towards professional qualifications, and have undergone full DBS checks.

Acacia has been a tremendous help to my mother since June, when we first went down the route of care and has made what could have been a very daunting transition into 'care' very manageable, primarily for my mother, but also for my father and myself.
I couldn't be more happy with their approach to
care, their app which keeps me up to date and their review process.

Acacia staff both in the office & carers are extremely attentive and caring.
They listen and give the appropriate care on a daily basis.
The app is a very useful tool and provides information to me so that I am up to date with the care given to my mother and I am able to communicate with office staff
and carers via the app.
The carers are very thorough and observant, notifying me of any changes whether minor ones or otherwise.
I have confidence that my mother is in dedicated safe hands and this trust is of the utmost importance for my peace of mind.
Knowing that my mother is happy with the care she receives is invaluable.
I certainly would not change the company or people who look after her.

Acacia offers a very good service, helping my dad in the shower. The carers are kind and gentle with him and help him dress afterwards and take his medication.
We are satisfied with the care package which Dad receives and the situation is reviewed every few months for any problems or alterations.

So caring, nothing was too much trouble. A particular member of staff was a diamond. All very trustworthy and treated our precious mum with dignity and compassion. We were given a lot of advice and not only cared for our mum but us, her family too.

It is a scary business when you have to find care for yourself or a loved one, especially if you have no idea what to look for or what to expect. I had been given a list and left to get on with it, the first agency I phoned were most unhelpful, couldn't even answer the basic questions, the second agency
didn't even answer the phone, not impressed. It was third time lucky when I phoned Acacia Homecare, the telephone answered straight away, all my questions answered straight away and that was it, decision made. I have never regretted my decision, it's very comforting to know that someone will always be there for me, seven days a week, even Christmas Day and Bank Holidays. If you wake up feeling miserable by the time your carer has left you will have had a laugh and be ready to get on with your day. Same in the evening, if you have had a less than perfect day they will make sure that you go to bed happy, I feel very lucky.

The carers looking after my mother are doing an excellent job. Mum is extremely happy with the service. Her ladies are very reliable, always appear cheerful and pleased to see her, and try to do everything to be of assistance.

I thought I would just drop you a line to say, once again, a huge thank you to your frontline caregivers. As you know with the lockdown restrictions easing we took the opportunity to come and visit mum with a view to start some of the jobs. Having met three of your team we can honestly say how thankful
we are for mum to be in the care of such a caring, professional team who obviously love their job. Looking at mum’s face when your ladies arrive proves that she looks forward to each visit and is keen to engage. That in itself is a huge positive from my perspective. We had a great discussion and feedback with your caregivers during our stay and we are keen to try to make their job a little easier during their visit and the tasks they need to complete. So thank you again for your team’s total commitment and flexibility in making mum’s life as easy as possible.

Our family friend in her late nineties has been a client of Acacia Homecare Ltd for the past three years. During this time we have found the company to be well-organised and efficient in all aspects of their care. The carers who visit four times daily are all very pleasant and friendly, caring and helpful.
As an example, on the one or two occasions, our friend has needed urgent assistance between visits, a telephone call to the office has brought quick action.

Acacia Care have been caring for firstly my mother and father and latterly my father, since 2013. Calls have altered over the years and now a live-in carer has been provided.
