I just wanted to express our thanks to the lovely staff from the supervisors, carers and admin staff they are all a credit to Bluebird.
If they are ever running late (which is very rear) they always call to let us know.
They are lovely and supportive to us all and keep us updated on any needs such
as running low on personal care items.
Bluebird have been absolutely wonderful in the support they have offered especially dealing with dementia.
If you are looking for care l highly recommend you consider this company.

My elderly mother has dementia and has been using Bluebird Care for over six months now - first in her own flat and now living with us - and we couldn't be happier with her carers. They are professional, friendly, punctual, attentive to detail, thoughtful and kind. Bluebird tries to ensure continuity
of carers as far as possible which has been especially helpful to us as my mum needs time to adjust to new things and people. The office is responsive, helpful and supportive. Our Bluebird carers have now become a welcome presence in our home and have helped not only my mum but us to adjust to the new routines of her life with us. I have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird to anyone looking for care.

As a family, we feel blessed to have chosen Bluebird Care for our father. As a retired daughter I had no time to enjoy my retirement as I always seemed to be at Dad's, helping and supporting him. We have not looked back once our care package was in place, I feel like I have my life back and visit Dad
to have a chat or take him out. The staff members are so good I cannot praise them enough. I went on holiday without any worry, knowing Dad was being looked after. I highly recommend Bluebird.

It is always difficult to trust a person to care for a loved one. I was in a position where looking after my uncle became too hard so I looked into getting help.
I have so far used Bluebird Care for approx 3 months. In that time I have no problems at all, all the staff truly love their job and as a
result, it shows by the care they provide. There have been times when I have needed help sometimes late at night, I make the call and I get told don’t worry we will sort out the problem and they do. All the staff are so kind and truly care for the people put in their trust. Overall a wonderful company to deal with and great personal care provided. Look no further.
So a big thank you to all Bluebird staff.

At the recommendation of the local council, Bluebird stepped in to help provide care at very short notice. What stands out is their flexibility and willingness to tailor the care to the patient's needs. In addition, the team provide an excellent level of care and the communication back to other family

Bluebird Care (Greenwich Branch) have looked after our 88-year-old dad so amazingly well. We as his family do not know where we would be without them. We have 2 incredible carers. One comes in the morning to wash and help dress our dad plus she will clear the kitchen, make him a sandwich and generally
tidy up. The other comes in the evening to get Dad ready for bed, check that he has taken his medication and she will spend time chatting to him. They are both always reliable, kind, cheerful, hardworking and incredibly kind. All our family are so very grateful to them both. The admin staff are extremely professional and thorough. We are very lucky to have found this care agency.

I have used Bluebird Care to support my brother who suffers from dementia. I have been very pleased with the service.
The care manager has been very flexible in meeting our needs.
I value the fact that the same carers regularly attend. My brother is very resistant to having care visits and he is
gradually getting used to the carers and accepting them.
The service has been consistently reliable.
The service manager quickly responds to any issues or queries.
I would very much like my brother to live with us as long as possible. With the flexible care available I feel we will be able to achieve this, increasing domiciliary care as necessary.

Our mum's carer is always on time, patient and sympathetic towards mum. Mum was quite demanding but she did as she was told! Excellent carer. I was always made aware when she was covered by another colleague.

Overall, a very good care agency. We did have a couple of problems with carers initially not wearing PPE during Covid, but the manager rectified the situation asap.
I would definitely recommend them in the area.

My parents have received care from another agency, which fell well below my expectations, particularly as I had previously been a social worker and inspector of care services. So, when Bluebirds Greenwich was offered as an alternative agency, I took the opportunity to meet the manager at my parent’s
house. At this meeting, my parents and myself were reassured that Bluebird intended to provide a good service. They have lived up to the expectations, although there of course has been the odd occasional times when the standard has slipped, but when this has been highlighted the management has addressed the issue quickly. During the lockdown, my parents celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. No family members could visit but the carers and agency helped celebrate by providing flowers and a cake, then sending photos of the small celebration to family members. Again, during this difficult time, carers have also escorted my parents to outpatient appointments. I would recommend Bluebirds.

My Mum has been having Bluebird careers every week for about 6 months now. They are reliable, friendly and caring. When we needed them to increase there hours for a short period of time due to covid isolating, preventing me from being able to visit, they were very accommodating. It was reassuring to
know they would be able to visit her when I was not able to.
They have been a good source of comfort to both my Mum and her family. I would definitely highly recommend them.

My mother contracted COVID-19 in January 2021. After spending 2 weeks in hospital, she was discharged with long term symptoms, needing long term care.
I contacted Bluebird Care and explained my mother’s situation and within 2 hours the management team arrived (full PPE) to carry out an initial assessment.
I thought I would have to wait a few days for them to get a care team in place but they were fantastic and was able to provide a care assistant immediately the following morning.
Feedback from my mother- the care provided was excellent. The care assistant(s) arrived on time, ensure she was well looked after and very friendly. She was asked and given options of foods she could have. They cleaned up afterwards, didn’t leave the kitchen messy.
What I liked about the service, most days my mother had the same care assistant in place, which my mother wanted because of familiarity. The management team overall was excellent, professional, always happy to help. Highly recommended.

Bluebird Care Greenwich have provided excellent care to my mum over the past, very difficult, year. The organisation has been very flexible and patient as we have changed our requirements with the Coronavirus threat in mind. They have always been happy to discuss our concerns and respond to our wishes.
All the carers have been brilliant at putting my mum and dad at ease and providing the care and support that they need. It has been difficult for my mum and dad to accept people into their homes as they are very independent but the carers have made it easier for them. The carers work hard to complete the tasks that they are set and still are able to have a chat and a laugh with my parents, which brightens their day. I would also like to say a thank you to the office/accounts staff who have always been quick at sorting out any queries. A real team effort. Thank you to you all.

All of the carers that have looked after my husband have been very kind, hard-working and attentive. They have made him very comfortable and familiar with themselves and the care they provide. They provide high-quality care with dignity and professionalism. The carers learned his care routine very quickly
allowing them to take time to get to know my husband and his needs. The supervisors of Bluebird also keep in regular contact with their customers to ensure that they are happy with the care they are receiving and will do their best to fix anything you may not be happy with. After working for various care companies myself, for a number of years in the past, I was quite worried when my father was in need of a care package. There are amazing companies out there but also some, that leave a lot to be desired. I was lucky enough to have the Bluebirds allocated to us, which I’m
so grateful for. The care team assisting my father are amazingly kind, caring and understanding to my dad who is so much happier since having his daily visits from the team. Bluebird Care Greenwich is led by Anoop Sekhon. Anoop started delivering homecare in Greenwich to help support customers in the area to receive homecare and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Delivering the highest quality of home care and support is Anoop’s absolute goal and the team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking home care for themselves or a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Anoop holds a BSc in Business Information Technology. She has worked with the Youth Service for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for 6 years as an HR manager.
Her background in working with young people, including those with significant care needs, has inspired her to work with people with a wide range of care needs and to open Bluebird Care (Greenwich) in March 2012. She is committed to ensuring that she provides a high-quality service to the individuals she works with and that the exacting standards of Bluebird Care, UKHCA and CQC are satisfied in full.
