I have been using Bluebird Greenwich for several years now to support me at home. They visit me several times a day and help me with all aspects of my personal care, as well as keeping a clean and tidy home. I have found both the office staff, managers and support workers who visit me at home, to be
very professional, helpful, and caring. They are very reliable and have never missed a slot, even during the worst of the Covid period. On the rare occasion where someone has been delayed, I have always been kept updated. As my disability has worsened, the support I need has increased, and the team have had no difficulties in helping me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird Greenwich to anyone who needs support in their own home.

Steven, thank you for the positive feedback. The carers love coming to have a chat with you and help you out. The office staff enjoy regular chats with you on the phone and it is so nice to hear that Bluebird Care has adapted to your needs so well. Thank you for all of your support over the years and here’s to many more!

I have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird for home care of a person with physical disabilities, as well as dementia. I can totally rely on them to look after my friend, who always enjoys their visits. The backroom staff are most helpful, keeping me updated.

I have used Bluebird Homecare to care for my dad who is 92, I have been impressed by the the care he has received, they will try and send the same carer which helps in the beginning to help them settle in as like a lot of elderly people they don’t want the help and think they can still do it themselves.
The agency has kept me informed of progress and let me know if my dad needs anything. The carers are great with my dad and he has a good relationship with them and it’s put my mind at rest that he is being looked after.

Highly recommend Bluebird carers, they cared for my mum for many years until her recent passing. They were lovely to my mum, caring for her needs including being pet friendly, all the carers made the effort, even went above and beyond. Couldn’t have coped without them. Thank you.

I've been with Bluebird care company for just under a year. For me, they are the best. I've had experience with other care companies for many reasons my experience with them wasn't very good. I have 4 calls a day morning, lunch, tea, bedtime, which includes personal care, on all calls preparing food,
etc. All the carers are wonderful people. They are all very friendly, kind, professional, caring, considerate, reliable, respectful, empathy, patient, observant, helpful. The carers are very good at their job. They are supportive of me being as independent as possible, show me dignity when doing personal care which is very important to me. They always do their best to make it feel as comfortable as possible. I like and appreciate all my carers. The manager and all the office staff are great and wonderful people. They all will go above and beyond to make sure the care that I receive is excellent. They are all very friendly, polite, helpful, reliable respectful and professional.

Mum had a horrible Alzheimer's journey lasting more than 5 years, the last 3 and a half of which, she spent completely bedridden. We'd talked about things over the years and it was Mum's strong wish that she die in her own bed. The short answer to this review is simply that she got her wish on Christmas
Day 2020, solely because of the support of Bluebird Care. My sisters and I chipped in, my elder sister to the point of team leader but the twice-daily seven days a week visits of the Bluebird carers made this all possible. We got a rotation of carers so got to meet many of them, some travelled by car, others by bus but they were 100% reliable and totally dedicated to their work, always showing a warm and friendly demeanour. Thank you, Bluebird. Thank you to the manager. Thank you all the great carers.

We started using Bluebird care for my mum four years ago and she sadly passed away. Since then my dad had daily carers who built up strong relationships with him. Bluebird always tried to maintain as much consistency as they could for my dad. They were also able to step up his care as he deteriorated.
Finally, my dad came home to die and needed 24-hour care which the team at Bluebird managed seamlessly such that we were totally sure he was in good hands. Every carer always treated my dad with the utmost dignity and many of the carers went well above and beyond my expectations of them. My dad was able to die peacefully in his own home which was an absolute gift especially given the current context of COVID-19. I can't thank you enough.

Since Bluebird Care have taken over my grandmother's care, her general health and well-being have greatly improved physically and mentally. This has also impacted on us, the rest of the family, in a massively positive way.
They go above and beyond what I knew Carers were allowed to do, always friendly
and helpful and the communication is outstanding. They really know my grandmother as an individual.
We had another company caring for her originally and the difference is astounding.
Would 100% recommend Bluebird and am so grateful to them and the peace of mind they give us.

Since day one, Bluebird have demonstrated their dedication and care for the client in every way which is so reassuring for the client and the family. There exists a really friendly atmosphere in their office, which is very efficiently well run and supervised. The carers, who are also keenly supervised,
are lovely people who have a genuine wish to please.

What can I say about Bluebird carers, I have nothing but very very high praise for them. Every carer I have met who has attended my Mum have shown patience, treat my Mum as they would their own Mum, with dignity and make her as comfortable as they possibly can.
As I do not live locally, Bluebird are
extremely prompt in advising myself of any change in my Mum's situation. The office are very efficient, professional and friendly.
I could not have better care for my Mum, in my opinion, they are the best carers we have had for my Mum. Can not thank Bluebird Care Greenwich enough.

During the current lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when her three siblings have been unable to visit at all, my sister has been extremely well cared for by Bluebird staff. The care has been proactively managed. Due to her progressive dementia necessitating contact with the GP, 24hrs in hospital,
coping with incontinence and medication refusal, let alone queuing for shopping and medical supplies and even the care of her much-loved cat (including the monthly flea treatment!). At every stage, Bluebird staff have kept us well informed and have taken the time to allay our fears and worries about our sister - even sending us photos when she was enjoying a good day! Although to her family my sister seems to be on the verge of needing full-time care, Bluebird has acted with restraint by only recommending what is truly needed but keeping the situation under constant review. We have complete confidence in the advice offered. They are always approachable and good-humored.

Bluebird Care is more than a company to me. It is more than a job. It is my life and passion! I started out as a coordinator and worked my way up to becoming a manager, and it’s been a real journey full of so many emotions good and bad, but every day I fall more in love with what I do.
I pride myself on providing the best possible service we as a team can carry out, and the proof is in the pudding! Caring for people isn’t an errand that you just run, my heart is in this! The team I work with make this “job” so worthwhile. Such kind-hearted, hard-working people who share the same values as I do. Bluebird Care really is my family!

I joined Bluebird Care in January 2023 as the Greenwich Office Administrator, and it’s my first job in the Care industry. What I like most in my job is the team I’m working with; everyone is very supportive, and they made me feel like I’ve worked here for years. I also love the fact that we support vulnerable people to live their lives with dignity and provide them with all sorts of care in the comfort of their houses.

Working with Bluebird Care made me realise that this is the right industry for me, and I am looking forward to improving my skills and gaining more experience in the field.

Job Title: Assistant Manager

My name is Jackie, I have worked for Bluebird Care Greenwich for nearly 5 years. I started working as a care assistant, which I enjoyed very much. After 6 months of being a care assistant I was given the chance to become a Care Supervisor, and late last year, I was asked to be an Assistant Manager. The most I enjoy about my job is getting to know all the lovely customers, and supporting them to live independently in their own homes. Bluebird Care is an amazing company to work for, not only are they my work colleagues, they are my family.

I’ve been working with Bluebird Care for a year and a half, since coming back from a long break after Maternity Leave. I love how supportive everyone is and how easy it is to work in a team with everyone here at Bluebird. I graduated with a Finance degree and have worked in Finance since but this has to be my most enjoyable role. I came on board with a lot of Finance skills but I have learnt much about the care industry since and have found it particularly rewarding working in this sector - even though I work back office, I very much enjoy that I can do my bit to help our wonderful customers. I do believe that for everyone here, it is more than just a job - when you’re made to feel like an important and essential member of the team, it makes it even easier to go that extra mile.
