I cannot praise highly enough the services of Right at Home. They have given mum great support, friendship, loyalty and kindness during the care service given by them. Unfortunately, she needed to go into nursing care but would have loved to have continued if it had been possible to keep her at home.
Thank you so much for your advice and support shown to me too. It was invaluable.

My dealing with all the staff of Right At Home was exceptional at a time of my life when I was under terrible stress from caring for my very frail, often ill, 85 year old husband who also has dementia. I was in fact at my wits end. All the staff were caring, reliable and my husband accepted them all
into our home. His main carer formed a genuine friendship with him, stimulating and encouraging him, escorting him on trips out (museum, garden centre) and creating a memory scrap book of their activities together. I could not have had better help and support.

Dear Marion, thank you for your very kind words. I will make sure your care team see your review as it means so much to them to see what a difference they are making to people's lives. Very glad we could help you when you needed it. Alastair

Having had Right At Home now for 4 years looking after my mother-in-law, I can say without hesitation that the overall service and care has been exemplary. The carers have been very attentive and given excellent company to my mother-in-law at her time of need. She is now 98 and the time has come to
move her into a home for 24 hour care, the Right at Home team gave her a new lease of life during their attendances. Well done to all concerned.

Reply from Alastair Shanks, Managing Director at Right at Home GF

Thanks Peter, it has been an absolute pleasure to look after your mother-in-law. I have very much enjoyed taking her to Singing for the Brain and other trips out. I am delighted you have been so pleased with the service.

1 week live in respite - very happy with the care, my mother appeared happy and reassured after the care had finished, and as the daughter and carer I also was reassured that I could leave my mother in good hands.

Right at Home were able to provide help when I needed if for a limited period following hip replacement surgery. The help they provided was appropriate and professional and they all helped to make the whole procedure a positive experience and to provide my family with peace of mind. They work well as
a team and communication is good and I was always informed if a care giver was going to be delayed.

Our caregivers from Right at Home (Guildford and Farnham) are the most competent and pleasant young ladies. They give my husband the personable care in a business like manner while keeping it all light and happy. Their every help had given me the confidence to go forward, to what could be, for some
time ahead. I am pleased to recommend Right at Home (Guildford and Farnham) their staff and caregivers most highly.

I have five regular carers from Right At Home. All of these carers are very aware of my needs and go to great lengths to make sure my care is given with cheerfulness. Certainly my modesty and feelings are first and foremost in all they do. I consider myself very lucky having such kind and considerate
people looking after me.

Very caring and capable team that have provided warm home support and friendship over a number of years to my father, allowing him to remain in independent living through to the age of 90. Consistently lots of laughter, rapport and empathy mixed together with the practical support reflecting both their
ethos and quality staff. Very good at communicating with and working in close partnership with the family and other care organisations as one team. Highly recommend them to others looking for support for their friends and relatives.
