As a client of this company for 2 years I was disappointed to learn they were ceasing my care. The first I knew about this was when another care company phoned to say they were taking over my care the next week. When I phoned Fisher to find out what was going on they confirmed this with no explanation
of why. I suppose if I had not phoned they were not going to bother telling me which is no surprise with the office staff they have. So disorganised it's unbelievable. They give the impression they don't care about the clients at all, not good for a care company, very unprofessional. A tip would be, don't employ walking carers who don't like walking! Overall, carers good, office staff awful.

Reply from Geoffrey Fisher at Fisher Healthcare East Anglia Ltd

We originally took on this care package as part of our NR5 double round with no complications. The client then moved to the NR2 area, whereby we have no double up round. We accommodated their needs and we also complete a care review every six months, the last was in July 2019 whereby they were happy with their carers and care received. We have recently had a reorganisation of our rounds and it was agreed that we could no longer sustain our provision of care to this client. An email was sent to Social Services on the 7th of October to advise this decision and on the same day, a letter was sent to the client advising this decision. The client maintains that they did not receive this letter however we have not had it returned to us to date by Royal Mail.
