Most of the time my carers are good but I do wish I had fewer carers. It is better to get to know your carers well and I don't like too many changes.

Reply from Robert Godson, Director at Home Instead (West Lancashire & Chorley)

Thank you for the commendation, it is most kind of you. Holidays, sickness and absence levels can occasionally be challenging but we are delighted that you are now entering your ninth year with us.

Have experienced just what I needed - friendliness and help with various jobs that I find difficult and in my case most helpfully escorting me to hospital and doctors appointments. The variety of tasks undertaken and the pleasant manner in which they're carried out is excellent.

I have just done a review of Mum's current and immediate future care. I am very happy with this current care plan. My mum is treated kindly and with dignity by a small team of well trained carers. They act as Mum's friends and have become an important part of her day. This has meant Mum can remain at
home which has always been her wish.

I have had Home Instead as my mother's care provider for many years now and they have secured a small team of care professionals to look after all her needs. The girls are cheerful, friendly and willing to help her with all her needs and are much appreciated by my mum and myself. It means a lot to
her to be able to stay in her own home. If there are any problems they are helpful in solving them.
A big thank you.

Mum is very happy with the Care providers who visit her at home. They are warm, friendly and caring. She loves their company and the support that they give. For my part communication is good. Office staff check when there’s an issue and are helpful when I phone. I love the app that lets me see how things
are going at each visit and check on day to day progress.

My husband had a massive stroke in 2011. He has suffered many other conditions up to this year. All other care given by the hospital were dreadful. Consequently, your agency was recommended nine years ago.
We have had many staff in that time to come and go, but always, we were wonderfully taken care
of. The pandemic cause dreadful problems, but like a family, we struggled through. My husband now has to go into care we will miss your great staff!

We as a family have always found Home Instead staff to be courteous and very caring. The staff on the phone are a pleasure to deal with. We would certainly recommend their service to anyone requiring help. Nothing is too much trouble for any staff from the office to care in the home. Big thanks to everyone.

The Home Instead carers are always welcomed by Mum. They are great company for her, help with chores, and make sure she gets a walk or some exercise. It's reassuring for me too that she has genuinely caring people around when I can't bet there. The admin team are always helpful and positive too.
