Blue Sapphire Care is a small local company that understands the need for continuity of care. They currently have capacity to offer new packages of care.

Originally set up by three local ladies with many years experience in the home care industry, Blue Sapphire Care is now owned solely by one of the original partners.

They believe that peoples' needs are best served if the company and the people in it are focused on the delivery of good quality care by staff who believe that it is their vocation to do so. The service user is always the number one priority.

They will remain local and do not intend to grow to a size where people become just another service user.

Their intention is to maintain a quality of service to be proud of.

Blue Sapphire Care offers services including:

- Personal Care
- Meal preparation

- Assistance with medication
- Escort on trips (pre-arranged transport only)
- Companionship

Blue Sapphire Care believes that continuity, understanding, communication and reliability are very important factors to a successful partnership between the service user and the care provider.

Call times are pre-arranged and agreed and the team pride themselves on visits being punctual, with 15 minutes either side for travel considerations

All carers are smartly dressed in their uniform at all times to offer reassurance to clients.

The office is open between 7:00am and 4:00pm for general enquiries.

Contact for emergency situations can be made to the on call support manager up until 10.30pm.

We are very happy with the care my father receives from all staff at Blue Sapphire.
All staff are caring and patient with him and provide a high standard of service.
He suffers from Parkinson's and his needs are complex.
We feel confident that her can remain in his own home - which is where he wants
to be.

Wonderful service! My elderly mother is so well looked after during visits from a member of the fantastic Blue Sapphire Care team, each and everyone is warm, attentive and gentle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blue Sapphire, the service is affordable, staff are all lovely and they are continually
assessed and well trained.

I had used Blue Sapphire Care before for my late wife, and had rated them very good then so when I knew the same company still operating I signed up for my own limited care needs.
I expected a good service and in the relatively short time I have had them, I have found them to be very good.

We are generally very happy with the service which is being provided by all carers at Blue Sapphire Care.
All the staff are friendly polite and caring, which is very welcome, and try very hard to be prompt, even when traffic and travelling present issues.

Blue Sapphire was very accommodating when I came out of the hospital and needed to set up a care package. The management is very friendly. I have built up a rapport with my care workers and domestic help.

I have two different sitters to sit with my husband, who has dementia, so I can get some time on my own. They are both friendly, helpful, and cheerful and offer me help and assistance whenever I need it. They are also a useful source of information for dealing with people with Alzheimer's and I value
their opinion. They are both always willing to go the extra mile and are sensitive and understanding to the needs of both myself and my husband. I couldn't fault either of them in any way.

A year ago I was new to getting care support at home for my mum who has Alzheimer's (at that point still awaiting a formal diagnosis). It was all a bit daunting but the Blue Sapphire team was so helpful in getting the care set up. Mum was completely against carers coming in, having been extremely independent
all her life. The lovely carers have gently, gently won her over and become part of her day. There is laughter alongside any tasks being done. All calls are logged on an app so you can view what has happened - almost in real-time. I receive a phone call in case things are not quite right. Just last night the senior carer on duty did an additional welfare visit to check on Mum as we had some concerns. It is very reassuring. If I have an issue, I raise it with the owner and it is resolved. I am very happy with the service being provided and highly recommend Blue Sapphire. And I am truly grateful for everything they are doing for Mum.

Having had experience with several care companies, Blue Sapphire stands head and shoulders above the rest. It is a long-established, very efficient, and extremely well-managed company. Staff retention is very high, giving a reassuring continuity of care to both the clients and families. All potential
carers are stringently checked, not just for their skills, honesty, and reliability, but for the suitability of their personal traits to be sensitive to the needs of some very vulnerable people. Each day, carers send to the office a digital record of everything they have done with each client. This record can be viewed at any time by families. My husband’s carer is typical of the standards this company insists on. She is always immaculate, punctual, and cheerful. She is always sensitive not just to his bodily needs but his mental ones too. She is thorough, kind, and efficient. My husband could receive no better nor more uplifting care. My trust in her is total.

I am new to care provision and was quite anxious about having carers in my home. However, Blue Sapphire have provided wonderful people for my care who treat me with respect, dignity and friendliness. My confidence has grown and I now look forward to their visits. They always arrive with a smile and
a cheery positive attitude and nothing is too much trouble.
I feel it is really important to see the same people every day as far as possible. Blue Sapphire has tried hard to achieve this and this is why I now feel more confident with my carers. The relationship between the client and carers is key to care in the home. I feel we have come a long way and my anxiety has disappeared.

I am very pleased with all the care my mother receives from Blue Sapphire.
They have looked after all her needs for the past year and are very consistent.
Mum had a fall recently and the carer stayed with her until the paramedics arrived which I am very thankful for.
The office keep in touch to see
how Mum is and once home again I know she will be in good hands, like one big family.
I cannot recommend Blue Sapphire highly enough.

It has been lovely to have two regular ladies attending my husband, as they get to know him and visa versa I do not have to show them around each time so they know where everything is. The carers I have had through the company have all been very kind and prompt in arriving.

My lovely mum has advanced Alzheimer's.
For years, we've cared for her at home but realised we needed extra help.
Right from that first meeting, we knew we'd struck gold with Blue Sapphire. The owner listened to our requirements intently and with empathy, and before we knew it, had our care requirements
set up exactly as we'd asked.
As Mum's needs increased, they quickly ramped up the service to multiple, daily double calls.
The front-line staff are beyond wonderful. Every carer has treated Mum with love, respect, dignity and gentleness that we didn't realise could be possible from non-family members.
As a control freak with an obsession for detail, I felt nervous about trusting and outsourcing something as precious as my mum's welfare to anyone else but was quickly reassured.
I would rate Blue Sapphire as outstanding in the "well-led" department and credit to the owner for her professional and "role model quality" leadership.
We could not be happier with the service.

Blue Sapphire Care Ltd have provided care for my other half since last December. The carers are kind and knowledgeable; considerate and respectful. They are pro-active and friendly. I couldn’t wish for better people to be looking after him. The managers were really helpful when circumstances changed
suddenly, and got us through a difficult situation without any fuss or drama. They are very easy to talk with, and very positive in their approach. Similarly with the office staff, nothing is too much trouble. We are both delighted with the care that Blue Sapphire Care Ltd have provided and would strongly recommend them.

Blue Sapphire cared for Mum for many years until Mum went into a nursing home with care, kindness and professionalism at all times. Not only did they care for Mum, but also supported my dad and me. The staff were always cheerful, friendly and efficient. Any problems we had were listened to and resolved
quickly.
I would recommend Blue Sapphire 100%, as it was their care and support that allowed Mum to be in her own home for as long as possible.

I would highly recommend Blue Sapphire Care. My husband had been unwell for many years but in the final three years of his life became too poorly for me to manage alone. The expert compassionate care that Blue Sapphire provided for my husband can only be described as outstanding. The support they gave

We have used carers from Blue Sapphire on and off for the last two years. Recently, we have arranged for a carer to come in to help my husband dress three days a week, a carer to come one morning using the carers vouchers to sit with him while I go out for two hours, and another day for a carer to help
me make the bed, and do some ironing. Very happy with the arrangements so far. All carers are lovely.
