Blue Sapphire Care is a small local company that understands the need for continuity of care. They currently have capacity to offer new packages of care.

Originally set up by three local ladies with many years experience in the home care industry, Blue Sapphire Care is now owned solely by one of the original partners.

They believe that peoples' needs are best served if the company and the people in it are focused on the delivery of good quality care by staff who believe that it is their vocation to do so. The service user is always the number one priority.

They will remain local and do not intend to grow to a size where people become just another service user.

Their intention is to maintain a quality of service to be proud of.

Blue Sapphire Care offers services including:

- Personal Care
- Meal preparation
- Domestic services
- Shopping
- Assistance with medication
- Escort on trips (pre-arranged transport only)
- Companionship

Blue Sapphire Care believes that continuity, understanding, communication and reliability are very important factors to a successful partnership between the service user and the care provider.

Call times are pre-arranged and agreed and the team pride themselves on visits being punctual, with 15 minutes either side for travel considerations

All carers are smartly dressed in their uniform at all times to offer reassurance to clients.

The office is open between 7:00am and 4:00pm for general enquiries.

Contact for emergency situations can be made to the on call support manager up until 10.30pm.

Blue Sapphire Care has been very reliable and professional. Their carers are friendly, hardworking and very supportive, helping my parents, both in health care and domestic help. Their communication is great, via email and phone calls, if there is a concern and notes are left on their secure app for
relatives to keep informed after each visit. They have formed a good relationship with my parents. My parents and I are very happy with Blue Sapphire and its excellent service.

My mother is very pleased with the work that the carer does in keeping her home clean and tidy. The carer has gone through my mother's food cupboard and has advised on all of the out-of-date items to be disposed of.

All the carers were excellent in communication with my mother. They took the time while working to be interested in her and what she wanted. She made them laugh sometimes and they made her laugh too. They were always prompt on timings and took extra time with mum if needed.

We have ladies that sit with my husband when I can have some time away from the home. All of the ladies have been very kind and caring. They are always cheerful and good listeners. As he hasn't got any hobbies they usually have to sit and watch TV with him. I would be happy if they could take him for
a walk (weather permitting).

We have been using Blue Sapphire Care devices since August 2022. To date, it has been the best decision I made to hire them for my nan's care.
After losing my grandad in May my nan has been struggling to cope with living alone at home and was overdosing on meds unknowingly. I made a desperate call
to Blue Sapphire for help after the doctors couldn't help my nan take her meds safely at home. The team reassured my nan, who was very fearful of outside help. Now, my nan loves the team who come out to her and can't wait for them to visit each day. The team are calm, caring and treat her with the respect and dignity she deserves. They have a laugh with her and report back any concerns they might have about her care.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Blue Sapphire care team. They go above and beyond to care for my nan and I can't thank them enough for all they have done for her and us as a family.

Well-run organisation. Managers are always responsive and keen to resolve any queries. They are also proactive in contacting us if they are concerned about anything.
Adaptive as needs have changed.
Some carers go way beyond - really caring.
A small minority are happy to chat but not always proactive.
All in all, they do a difficult job very well.

I cannot recommend Blue Sapphire highly enough. The team of carers that have looked after my Dad have been great, always dealing with him with compassion and care. My Dad has now moved into permanent full-time care because it was becoming unsafe for him to be on his own, but his care, provided by the
manager and her team, has given me great peace of mind over the past few months.

Blue Sapphire Care have been caring for my mother for some years. Recently, however, she has gone into full-time care. The service provided has been fantastic over the last few years. Their professionalism and attention to detail is outstanding and their ability to spot potential problems and take

The calls that my dad has had since he has been with the company have been brilliant, he now looks so much better and a bit healthier just by your staff going in and helping him with a few daily tasks and making sure he eats. From the staff that care for him on a day to day basis through to the management
and office staff, nothing is too much trouble. They are a great support to my dad and this has been a big help and support to myself, his daughter. I know he is well cared for and I don't need to worry about him as much.

Blue Sapphire Care Agency helped look after our mother for the last seven months of her life thus enabling her to stay in her own home. Nothing was too much trouble and all her carers without exception were kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They always made
time for a chat with mother which
she really enjoyed.
Communication with us all was excellent and even with the 'Covid crisis' they stayed calm and carried on without causing her or us any additional concerns. When Mother's health deteriorated and extra care was required they were incredibly efficient and it was very quickly provided.
We feel incredibly fortunate that Blue Sapphire Care Agency were able to look after our mother and we would not hesitate in recommending them to anybody as they are first-class carers.

Above and beyond anything we could have hoped or even dreamt of. The dedication, integrity, genuine concern of staff is such a blessing as I am too far away to be able to care for Mum. Each member of staff displays a heart-warming interest in Mum, making her feel respected and valuable, which, with
her medical issues, is so important for her emotional well-being. Communication between the agency and the family is speedy, efficient and informative, and any questions or concerns we have are promptly addressed. Even under the extreme pressure caused by the pandemic, the exemplary standard of care has been maintained, with each visit feeling like a visit from a helpful friend. Perhaps it is this that stands out the most... although this is a very professional agency, to Mum (and even to the family) it feels like friendship rather than a business.

I have had Blue Sapphire caring for me for 8 years. The company deal with any problems I may have immediately i.e. hospital appointments. The staff are fully trained for my needs. I enjoy seeing them and any problems in my health they help me as much as they can. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

The carers are trained to exacting standards. They go about their work showing an extremely professional attitude. They are also, cheerful and friendly with a pleasing amount of knowledge about all aspects of home care.
