From initial contact with the agency to implementing our Father's care requirements, everyone at Manorcourt has provided an excellent standard of service. The team of carers Dad now has in place look after him with warmth, friendliness and compassion. The office and coordinator team are always professional
and supportive. The care provided for Dad over these last few weeks has meant he is happy and well in his home. Long may it continue.

All the staff from top-down have had an input into facilitating my care. This has been done with dignity, support and at times extreme understanding. I am not your 'generic' service user. (I believe) I am not (technically) retired, and have mental issues and disabilities that are both variable and complex
to understand. With communication and both carer, coordinator, and manager, I learnt to accept my needs and care that was necessary for my physical and mental well-being. This has been a road of discovery and I am grateful going forward that I have Manorcourt Homecare (Hornchurch) as support and full time live in carers.

I have been receiving care for the last 10-11 years due to several health problems. It was always running very smoothly and satisfactory at first. I only needed help with one call in the morning but over time with my health deteriorating (with a heart attack, blood clot and fluid on my lungs over the
years), I now have 3 carers every day, AM, lunch and evening. I am quite mobile, having a mobility scooter to get out on. Also my children visit when they are able to, which keeps me active. I am very happy with the service I am receiving. There was a time when we and carers were not happy due to a new manageress they employed, she had a really bad attitude towards everybody. Now she has gone, it seems the company, with the new manageress is running very smoothly again. Also, most of the carers seem to be very good. I am quite happy the way things are running. The carers are my lifeline.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.0 (9.048) out of 10 for Manorcourt Homecare (Hornchurch) is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.348 for Manorcourt Homecare (Hornchurch) is calculated as follows: ( (31 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) + (4 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 46 Ratings = 4.348

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Manorcourt Homecare (Hornchurch) is based on 7 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.7

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
