The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Bluebird Care Harrow & Brent is based on 5 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4.5

Job Title: Directors
Prafula's Story
Prafula started off as a care worker at a large care company and worked herself up to be a care coordinator but became frustrated with the way things were run. She could see inefficiencies and vast problems that made consistency of care difficult to provide. Determined that a home care company could do better she obtained all the necessary leadership and care management qualifications and founded Bluebird Care (Harrow) in 2007. Due to the great reputation, she had built in Harrow she decided to open her second franchise (Brent) in 2012 to follow in her footsteps.
“We recognise that each person is valuable and unique with his and her own purpose, personality and history”.
Munjal's Story
Munjal has a background in Business and Entrepreneurship, having worked for a number of start-ups and big companies including running his own shop. However, through his family, he had personal experience of the poor level of care delivered and along with Prafula he passionately believed that care could and should be done better.
“The package of care is specifically tailored to the needs of our customers, and this is reviewed frequently to ensure it continues to meet the person’s needs”.

Ushma is qualified in Level 5 in Health and Social Care and holds a BSc Honours degree in Media Business, Ushma works very closely with her brother Chaitan who is both responsible for managing both Bluebird Care (Harrow and Brent).
“People with dementia are still people who still have stories and character, they are all individuals. They just need to be interacted in a human level”.

Job Title: Deputy Manager
Eva Started with Bluebird Care in November 2022
“I started as a care assistant in 2006 and realised that this is the industry I will dedicate my life to. I have quickly progressed to work as a coordinator and supervisor. A few years ago, I stepped up the ladder as a manager, but really found out that teaching is my biggest passion. I understood that knowledge is a power so I moved away from day-to-day managing onto learning and developing and found the perfect role with Bluebird as I can enjoy both roles in one. I believe that when staff has in-depth knowledge about how to look after people properly, they will have the correct tools to deliver true person-centred care”.
Job Title: Care Supervisor
Lynne joined Bluebird Care Harrow in 2021 originally as a care assistant, but it was quickly established that Lynne would be the ideal candidate for the role of care supervisor.
“My journey with care began in 2000 when I joined a care home as a Care Assistant. I initially thought that I could be a Carer while studying at university as the hours worked around my timetable. I very quickly discovered that I loved the clients and the work and gave up my studies at university. I stayed with that company for approximately 4 years”.
“Due to family circumstances, I changed my career and went to work in an office where I remained until 2012. I then went on to work as a Support Worker in a semi-independent unit catering for young people coming out of foster care. Our priority was to ensure that they had the skills in order to be able to look after themselves when they reached 18 and or moved into their own homes. This was quite a challenging role, but we had many young adults wishing to stay with us longer than we could accommodate them”.
“I then took the decision to try to get a position in Domiciliary Care and approached Bluebird and as they say the rest is history. I started in October 2021 as a care assistant then was quickly promoted to Field Care Supervisor for Harrow. I have enjoyed every day that I have worked here. It can be hard, tiring work but the rewards are great. I love chatting to our clients as they are a massive resource of history and life experiences and I always leave each client having learnt something new”.
“I never thought of working in Domiciliary Care before but would recommend it for anyone who wants to work as a care assistant, and I know I made the right decision when my family said that I have now regained my love of caring”.
Job Title: Supervisor
In 2022, Maxine joined Bluebird Care, as our Field Care Supervisor, bringing along 7 years of experience working in domiciliary care as a care assistant and as a care supervisor.
“I have been in the care since 2015 as a care and support worker. I enjoyed working and through my hard work and dedication I was promoted to field care supervisor, in this role I was working with vulnerable children who were living with learning disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy and other conditions”.
“In 2022, I decided to move out into a new environment, and I joined Bluebird Care Brent, as their Field Care Supervisor. In my role, I ensure clients are receiving the care and support, they expect and deserve. I liaise with the clients directly both at the commencement of the service and for its duration. This also involves conducting assessments and undertaking reviews on a regular basis.
I am responsible for supervising and managing the care assistants and ensuring that they are always adhering to Bluebird Cares' high standards Bluebird Care is a very nice company to work with and feel like a valued member of the team”.
