After receiving a major operation just before Christmas, I very much needed help with personal care when I came home. All the Bluebird girls were friendly and very experienced at giving care and confidence to me for the future.

I had 3/4 hours a.m for getting up and dressed. The time given was on average 10.30 which was the time I was given but not the time I wanted. I wanted earlier. P.M visit was 1/2 hours at 7pm which was too early for me. I never got it any later. I was told three carers I would be given but it turned
out to be nine. The staff were good but I had to repeat everything every session. I may have liked another week's care but if I did I would have had to pay for another four weeks. This is a very poor money-making policy. I had no choice in having an extra week or paying for four weeks. I paid just over £1000 for 13 3/4 hours and 13 1/2 hours p.m. It was over the Christmas Period but the private price is too much for most budgets. If the staff are paid greater than other agencies I would feel better but I do not think they do. The staff were nice and did as I asked but the amount of different girls worried me.

Without exception, I can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed having your carers to help me in my home. Their friendship and work has helped me tremendously.
Unfortunately I do find it expensive and my funds will only allow me to have one out once a week - on a Tuesday morning.

Staff very good with my mum, they understand her needs and provide excellent service. Timekeeping is good and communication is very good.
We get no help with cost from local authorities and cost is a big factor which may mean moving forward I need to adjust the care provided, but right now very happy.

My father has been receiving morning and evening care visits from Bluebird Care Chichester for a few years. He is stubbornly independent and very sociable. They respect this and only help where needed and include time for lovely chats - he enjoys their friendly visits. Recently his needs have increased
and both office staff and carers have provided excellent service, making sure he is kept safe whilst still being respectful. For my part, as his main ‘carer’, I definitely feel supported by them. I can always get them on the phone, and the app is brilliant for keeping an eye on him; it shows care plans, up-to-date rotas and the notes following each carer’s visit upload immediately. I’m very happy to recommend them.

Bluebird have been providing twice daily care for my mother since she damaged the nerve in her hand. The carers spend time with Mum to chat and have made the effort to get to know her. Any initial teething problems were quickly addressed and the app provides an efficient way of communicating.

A carer comes once a week on a Wednesday for one hour. we are fairly flexible about when that hour is. The care requirements are fairly basic at this present time. We would prefer to have the same carer each week, but realise this is a juggling problem with staff.

Mum has very quickly become at ease with the carer visits and is comfortable telling them when she has an issue.
The Bluebird team very promptly let the family know when they have any concerns and we work together on the next steps for Mum.

My mother has received a high standard of personal care from the Bluebird staff team. They have also provided a friendly, caring atmosphere for my mother and my father, chatty and supportive.
The management team have always tried hard to ensure that they can provide care for all shifts even when they
have been stretched due to staff sickness, like all in the care sector they work under difficult circumstances but are always cheerful and willing to help in any way they can within their restrictions.
My father and I appreciate their support, kindness, time and effort they have shown us and it has made a difficult period of our lives easier to bare. Thank you Bluebird team.

Bluebird Care provided 2 weeks of care support to my wife at short notice after our chosen care company could not start on the agreed date. All the carers were professional and treated my wife with excellent care, maintaining her dignity at all times and being very sensitive to her moods and needs.
Your two managers involved were totally helpful and understanding of our family situation and are to be fully commended for their help and sensitivity to our family needs. I can't thank them enough.

Frances Ali

Job Title: Care Manager

Joined: 2020

Before I joined Bluebird Care in May 2020 I had spent many years working as an accounts and customer service advisor for printers. Whilst I joined without experience in the industry, I gained a lot of care experience looking after my terminally ill husband. Full training is also given to all new recruits, so I was taught all the professional skills I needed before caring for our customers.


When I originally joined Bluebird Care I was a Care Assistant. I enjoyed being out on the road caring for my customers, I found this so rewarding.


After some experience working out in the field, I was promoted to Care Service Specialist in 2021. I enjoy my present role as I still spend time with new and existing customers.


Home care is so rewarding and I feel that I can make a difference in people's lives. No two days are the same.
