Bluebird has provided excellent care for our elderly aunt whose health has been slowly deteriorating over the past year.
We live some distance away. The communication has been first class. I have electronic access to the carer's visit records which provides clear feedback on our aunt's health and
wellbeing, providing reassurance during these difficult times.
The rota is always available and Bluebird is quick to respond to any change in need.
Care workers and coordinators are friendly, experienced and professional and at times have gone the extra mile.
I highly recommend this care agency.

Bluebird Care is the most unreliable, uncaring, and unprofessional care agency I have had the misfortune to deal with.
Carers are untrained and lack confidentiality. They frequently discuss other clients' personal information with other clients.
Clients are not informed if a call is going to be
late or canceled by the office at the last minute due to a lack of staff. Clients are expected to still pay for their missed calls.
Bluebird expects a client to give 28 days' notice, even in an emergency if admitted to the hospital, and will continue to charge their extortionate rates during this time.
Bluebird has a high turnover of staff, including carers, managers, and admin. There is low morale with staff. Staff lack respect, empathy, and basic care skills for their clients. Managers are rude and aggressive, both in person and over the phone.
Chichester has many highly rated care agencies and Bluebird is not one of them.

After a rocky start, (mum wouldn’t accept she needed help), things have gone from not too good to excellent due to the visiting carers building up a wonderful caring relationship with mum. She now really welcomes their visits and sees the carers as friends. The lovely girls always ensure mum is bathed,
in clean clothes, oversee her taking her meds, make her meals ensuring she has a good variety of choice, do the washing and ironing, keep the flat clean and chat to her. Mum likes to go for a walk when the weather is fine and regularly the girls take her out, ensuring she has her stick. As well as mum being cared for, my sister and I have complete peace of mind that mum is being well cared for, as we both live a good distance away. If there are any concerns, we are contacted and these are resolved. Without these visits mum would be in a care home so thank you, ladies, you are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the good work.

My Mother has had a care companion from February and benefitted a great deal from the company twice a week. Mum had suffered extreme loneliness during the Covid lockdown and Bluebird service helped her. We will not hesitate to use the service again if Mum’s requirements need it.

We have found Bluebird to be very professional, friendly and polite, and most importantly, my grandmother loves and gets on with all the carers very well. Bluebird always lets us know which carers gran will be getting the following week and that carer will ring her if they are going to be late any time,
but this has been due to things out of their control (traffic accident and railway gates being stuck).
They do a 6 monthly review, and this can be done in person or over the phone, and they have now looked after gran for 18-months, and we have no complaints at all and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Bluebirds have been looking after my uncle since lockdown began in March 2020. As soon as I contacted them they were able to put in place a package of care that was patient-centered and has met his needs. Although I live 500 miles away and unable to visit I have access to his notes which enables me
to regularly read how things are. Over the last 6 months, his needs have changed and I have been able to work with Bluebird at being able to alter the frequency and duration of visits that are required. The service is very flexible and my uncle has really enjoyed the care which he has received. All the staff appears kind and considerate and it's reassuring to be able to phone and speak to the team who all seem to know who my uncle is. I would certainly recommend this service which does provide high quality and compassionate care.

We had care come to grandmother, she didn’t have care for long but we are very happy with the service. The carers come and they speak to her very nicely and they ask her what she wanted to eat and give her independence. They are very nice and we are very happy with the service they give to her.

Bluebird provide care for my mother who lives in Midhurst. As I live quite a distance away it is a blessed relief to know that she has these angels visiting her three times a day. They are amazing and the care they deliver is second to none. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to have carers.
They make her feel comfortable and safe and give her the independence and confidence to be able to do things for herself.

Experience over three years. Shortly after appointing Bluebird Care (Chichester) I suffered a stroke. He was sitting opposite me and knew exactly what to do. I was in hospital without delay. On my return after a good recovery, I have continued using the service for a short while each weekday morning
to check that I am still alive and kicking and carry out simple, domestic chores. This is a safeguard on which my family insist and of which I am grateful though at present I am an extremely 'easy' client. The carers are very varied in age, experience, and ability but all are well-meaning and helpful.

I have been using Bluebird for the last 6 months. The carers have given me very good service. The staff arrive on time according to the agreed timetable, which is posted to me every week in advance. The carers treat me with dignity and they respect any wishes I may have from day to day. They show interest
in caring for me and have been very encouraging helping me to walk. They are happy, I feel I can trust them and they have helped me build up my confidence again.

Job Title: Care Manager

Joined: 2020

Before I joined Bluebird Care in May 2020 I had spent many years working as an accounts and customer service advisor for printers. Whilst I joined without experience in the industry, I gained a lot of care experience looking after my terminally ill husband. Full training is also given to all new recruits, so I was taught all the professional skills I needed before caring for our customers.


When I originally joined Bluebird Care I was a Care Assistant. I enjoyed being out on the road caring for my customers, I found this so rewarding.


After some experience working out in the field, I was promoted to Care Service Specialist in 2021. I enjoy my present role as I still spend time with new and existing customers.


Home care is so rewarding and I feel that I can make a difference in people's lives. No two days are the same.
