I do not live near my mother, and it gives peace of mind knowing that full support and care is being given by the team. The team are on the ball and quickly identified that my mother required medical attention; this was put in place with my family kept informed throughout. Our thanks to all the team.

Home Instead have been looking after my mother since she came out of hospital in May. As Mum was discharged from hospital with no care package in place, I contacted Home Instead who were absolutely brilliant and very quickly had arranged three visits a day, seven days a week which took all the stress
away from the family. The caregivers were such lovely ladies who brought a ray of sunshine into Mum’s life and she looked forward to their visits.
I was impressed with the professionalism and dedication of everyone at Home Instead and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

I have been using Home Instead for six years now and will continue to do so for as long as I am able. With four visits a day, seven days a week involving everything from personal-care to cooking they enrich my life and cannot do enough for me. During this very difficult time of COVID-19, when I was
unwell with an unrelated illness they have shown how adaptable the caregivers can be as sleepovers were arranged urgently. When I have faced obstacles from local services, they have fought my corner looking at what is best for me and my condition. Their vigilance in checking for skin integrity has ensured that any changes are flagged up immediately thereby eliminating a need to be hospitalised. I feel very blessed that I am supported by such excellent caregivers and office staff and I would like to thank them all for continuing to care for me as key workers who are putting their lives at risk every day during this pandemic.

I have had previous experience of care agencies when arranging a care package for my father some 5-years previously, and as a family, we were clear we did not have a positive experience. We were recommended Home Instead when my mother needed a care package, and the experience could not have been more
different.
We were introduced to the carers who would be involved in visits, and communication with both office and care staff was always positive and helpful. The care providers were consistent and completely reliable. I can honestly say, there were no occasions when carers failed to turn up, nor any lateness.
The interactions between the carers and my mother were always kind and patient, and she looked forward to the carers visiting and their conversations.
I also appreciated the communication with individual carers when they visited and had immediate concerns.
I am completely confident in recommending Home Instead.

After having had a not so good experience with a care agency looking after my Mother who has Dementia, Home Instead was recommended to us and it was the best decision we could have made. The service is second to none, the carers and office staff all do an amazing job.
The carers all cared for my Mother
with the greatest of respect and dignity, she felt safe and comfortable with their presence in her home.
We as a family were consulted about any worries and kept informed on a very regular basis.
It was a huge comfort to know my Mother was in such safe professional hands. As her Dementia progressed Home Instead were able to give her more hours of care a day with very little notice. My Mother’s wish was to stay in her own home for as long as possible and thanks to Home Instead she was able to do that before she eventually had to move to a dementia care home.
Thank you Home instead.

Home Instead are excellent and I have been happy to recommend them to other users. The level of communication with the family has been second to none, updating us regularly and giving feedback on our mothers support, progress and needs. They have proved both proactive and reactive which, when we all
live some distance away from our mother, has been a great help. The caregivers themselves clearly take pride in their work and genuinely seem to care about their clients and have integrated perfectly into our mother's life on a daily basis and supporting her changing requirements.
The office support have also always been extremely helpful, reassuring and willing to go that extra mile, which really helps. All our enquiries have been dealt with patiently and sympathetically.
We all, as a family feel safe in their hands.

Mum has used the services of Home Instead for many years and enjoys seeing a familiar face and the help that the caregiver offers. The staff and caregivers are always there to listen and help resolve any issues no matter how small. They are caring not only to Mum but have been there to support her
family too. I would certainly recommend them.

I find Home Instead carers very polite. They keep to times well. They are courteous and kind. They are helpful, generally do jobs well. I feel safe with them and trust them. They are very obliging including office staff. Most of them show an interest in my embroideries. Very recommendable.

Home Instead Senior Care gives us the peace of mind that my mother has some support while we are out at work. However, I feel that Home Instead are not often flexible and if I require a caregiver at a different time or day it is often not possible and Home Instead are usually slow to respond to the
request. I feel that there is less continuity as many of the caregivers have changed and consequently, we have lots of different people coming into our home, some of the caregivers are heavy-handed and it is not uncommon for us to have appliances damaged such as our vacuum cleaner, toaster and kettle.

All the carers are helpful and nice and are patient. They will do anything we ask like cleaning or food preparation or getting things we can't reach. If carers are ill they always send someone or contact the family.

Over the past couple of years, until my mother's frailty necessitated her going into a care home, Home Instead has supported my mother. The carers have been excellent - treating Mum with dignity and respect. The local office staff are always available and keep everyone updated with any issues - would
highly recommend!!!

I was extremely happy with the care and support given to my parents. All the care givers were kind and thoughtful with many going above and beyond what was expected. They got to know Mum and Dad very well and I appreciate all that they did.

This is an outstanding company who have provided care to my parents for a number of years. They are compassionate, friendly and professional at every level. My very elderly parents feel safe and love their caregivers who are well matched to my parents' needs.
I am kept up to date and also feel well
supported by a team who really care about what they do.
I feel so very lucky that I can be confident that my mum and dad have every opportunity to build relationships with a regular team of carers. Mum has dementia and it is really important that she recognises and trusts those who come to see her and dad. Mum and dad have just celebrated 75 years of marriage, without Home Instead, we would not be able to enjoy our time together as we do now.

Home Instead Senior Care (Bath) have been providing care for our mother, who is living with mixed dementia, for about 4 years now. They have provided an excellent service in every way. All of mum's team of caregivers are extremely professional, kind, caring and considerate. Home Instead make an effort
to match caregivers to their clients, which means that mum gets on with all her team. Home Instead Senior Care (Bath) never send anyone that mum hasn't met before, which is crucial to someone living with dementia. They support mum in many different ways, from simple companionship and taking mum on trips out, to cooking and help around the house. Essentially, they tailor the care according to mum's needs at the time. My sister and I feel totally assured that mum is in safe hands with Home Instead and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
