Inchwater has provided community services for thirty years and is rated 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (October 2019).

Inchwater Home Care offers bespoke personal care, companionship and support for adults who want to maintain their independence by living at home.

Care workers work with only two or three people, which means they have the time to build a meaningful personal relationship with clients. This sees clients benefit from a continuity of care and a high level of service.

Care workers are carefully selected for patience, empathy, compassion and common sense.

Home care can include arranging and taking clients to appointments, housekeeping, companionship, washing, ironing, preparing meals, collecting prescriptions, help with reading, shopping, organising trips and even assisting with pets.

Experienced staff can also deliver specialist dementia care, palliative care and care for those with other long-term conditions (such as Motor Neurone Disease, stroke and Parkinson's disease).

Funding & Fees Guide for Inchwater Home Care

  • Prices
  • Weekdays (7am to 9pm) = £36 /hr
    Weekends (anytime) = £38 /hr
    Bank Holidays (anytime) = £72 /hr
    A visit charge of £1.50 applies to each call.


  • All fees are calculated per hour. Please note, we do not cover calls for a shorter period than this.


    We do not charge for mileage (i.e. to and from your home), but will charge £1 per mile if we take you to an appointment or shopping in one of our vehicles.


    All clients require a care assessment prior to starting with us, as every care package is bespoke. We do not charge for care assessments, care reviews or telephone support* and are happy to be first-responder for life-line contacts. (*including contacting GP's or other health professionals on your behalf)

I have been so happy with the care my mother-in-law has received. All the carers are so conscientious, caring and compassionate. They are reliable and dependable. The App is a fantastic tool, keeps us well informed and up to date with the care provided. The management of the company is brilliant. I

I cannot praise mum's care company highly enough, all the staff that look after mum are exceptional and very professional, they cater for her every need, from personal care to changing her stoma bag, which is not a pleasant task, to cooking her meals and encouraging her to eat and drink, and giving
mum her medication, they are always friendly and chat with her, they also ask if there's anything she needs, and make sure she's ok before leaving her. They keep us informed about any concerns they have about her, which is very helpful. I always know I can contact them at any time whenever I need help of any kind, the office staff are very helpful and reassuring, going above and beyond, I can't fault them. My mum, myself, and all my family are so grateful and could not cope without their unfailing help.

Inchwater have been delivering excellent care, twice a day for my father-in-law for 15 months. He looks forward to their visits and often tells me how friendly and helpful each of the carers are. This is so reassuring for us as a family as they make sure he has his meals each day and takes care of the
household duties, nothing is too much trouble, they do all this cheerfully chatting to him while they work, which is perfect. We can also read the report after each visit so are up to date at all times. If any problems arise we are contacted straight away either by the carer on duty or one of the excellent office team, we truly could not ask for more, thank you Inchwater.

Always very helpful, polite, friendly and punctual. Oddice staff are always helpful, particularly the member of staff who deals wit I.T. We have had a few technical problems but he always does his best to rectify them.

Living a 3 hour drive away it was a great relief to me to know that Inchwater was visiting and keeping an eye on my aunt, particularly in the period after she returned home from respite care. The staff and management of the team took great care of my aunt and always kept in touch with me.

Inchwater Home Care has helped my aunt to remain living independently for over five years. She is nearly 99 and has proved to be quite a challenging client on many occasions. Her carers have gone above and beyond to make her home life as comfortable as possible. Nothing is too much trouble and they
often stay a lot longer than they should, at no extra cost to my aunt.
The management of the team is also second to none, they are always at the end of the phone, whatever time of day or night. They have offered invaluable advice to help the family through difficult times.
You could not wish for a kinder, more experienced team of people to look after a loved one.

My father has had carers from Inchwater Home Care caring for him for over two years now and we are extremely grateful to them for their kindness and patience, not to mention their professionalism and thoroughness. The care staff are well-trained, thoughtful, assiduous and sensitive, going above and
beyond in helping him and reassuring him if he is anxious or upset, thereby not only meeting his physical needs but also his emotional and mental needs.
The office staff are efficient, friendly, approachable and most importantly, take the trouble to contact the family if there is any concern over his health or well-being.
We would 100% recommend Inchwater to anyone who is looking for a care agency for someone they love.

My mother suffered a back injury that changed her life. My father has mild-early dementia but functions well in his own environment. They are true soulmates and can not be separated! I live in New York, and my brother lives 4-hours away. We were in a panic trying to make sure my mother would receive
the best nursing care, rehabilitation, comfort and support in her own home. Inchwater was highly recommended and has exceeded our expectations.
They put a plan together at very short notice and made it work with management staff caring for Mum, to begin with, so we could return home with peace of mind. Since day one, they have been flexible and accommodating to provide everyday care to Mum. Including last-minute help requests. The carers are all kind, professional, efficient, friendly and clinically competent and each brings their own extra touch of humanity to my parent's lives. They watch out for Dad, do household jobs and that cup of tea and chat make their visits perfect. Thank you!
