Inchwater has provided community services for thirty years and is rated 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (October 2019).

Inchwater Home Care offers bespoke personal care, companionship and support for adults who want to maintain their independence by living at home.

Care workers work with only two or three people, which means they have the time to build a meaningful personal relationship with clients. This sees clients benefit from a continuity of care and a high level of service.

Care workers are carefully selected for patience, empathy, compassion and common sense.

Home care can include arranging and taking clients to appointments, housekeeping, companionship, washing, ironing, preparing meals, collecting prescriptions, help with reading, shopping, organising trips and even assisting with pets.

Experienced staff can also deliver specialist dementia care, palliative care and care for those with other long-term conditions (such as Motor Neurone Disease, stroke and Parkinson's disease).

We have been using Inchwater for just over a year. From the initial home visit to carry out the assessment, we knew this was the team for us. We felt valued and cared about as individuals and as a family. Work is carried out in a caring, professional manner with a can-do attitude. Any issues are dealt
with promptly.

My sister contacted Inchwater Home Care a couple of years ago and the company was put on the 'back burner' ready for when our Mum needed help. It was also highly recommended by a friend. This month Mum needed the help and when contacted, Inchwater Home Care were prompt and efficient with details and
an assessment. Care was in place a few days later. The team sent to look after Mum, in her words are 'lovely, friendly and efficient.' This is high praise from Mum!

Inchwater are currently providing support and care for my elderly mother who is suffering from a terminal condition and previously cared for my father, who had advanced dementia.
The service they provide is nothing short of outstanding. My mothers’ current needs necessitate many facets of provision
and flexibility, often with short notice changes, and the Inchwater team never fail to deliver.
Inchwater have become an integral part of our lives – the care they gave to my father up until his death and the current care being given to my mother is provided by a team of committed, kind, thoughtful and compassionate people. From the team at Head Office to the front line team we see on a day to day basis they all uphold the very best values of care and kindness. Such is their commitment to their clients some of the team attended my fathers funeral.
We absolutely have no hesitation in recommending Inchwater.

I cannot recommend Inchwater and their staff highly enough. The service they provide to my mum is outstanding and the carers she has she now views as friends. Continuity of carers is second to none so important for clients with dementia and they are spot on at identifying any potential problems or issues.
Thank you so very much.

On several occasions recently I have had to ask Inchwater for help at short notice and they have always managed to cover my mum's needs. They try to keep to the same staff coming and I feel with all the precautions they take, she has little risk of COVID. All the staff, including those in the office,
are caring, professional, friendly, reliable and trustworthy. With lockdown Inchwater have made such a difference to her, someone else to talk and laugh with. I would recommend them 100% and as a retired trained nurse, that says everything about Inchwater.

I have been a service user for approx 3 years and would recommend them to everyone. The staff work well and very thorough and always go over and above their designated duties. I have sent their publicity to many friends and colleagues and have favourable reports from everyone. I carry a ribbon on my
scooter and am constantly stopped by strangers who know them and are highly delighted with their service. Management and staff are always available and willing to answer any queries at any time. I thank god I found them.

I am so grateful to the managers and carers at Inchwater. Without their continued care and concern, my parents (both in wheelchairs and in their nineties) would have had great difficulty in continuing to live together in their own home. I can't thank you enough!

I couldn't praise Inchwater more highly - they supported and advised me when I found myself in a completely new situation - having to find care for my godmother. They listened to me when I advise what kind of person my godmother would accept, and all the ladies have been so kind and gentle with her,
and she had nothing but nice things to say about them. The carers report back to the office any worries they may have about my godmother, so they are an extra pair of eyes for me as I cannot be there with her (I live in another country). Inchwater are very professional and supportive.

My mother, aged 94 needed care form July due to becoming increasingly physically immobile. We could not have chosen better. From initial contact, Inchwater has been professional, courteous and show genuine regard for my mother. From all aspects, I have had no doubts about recommending them. The carers
have become my mother's friends.

The Inchwater team can only be described as amazing. They stepped in to assist us when no one else had the capability. Mum has highly complex 24/7 care needs and we now have a skilled empathetic and reliable team in place within two weeks of our first request and in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. Astonishing
really. Our whole family, which includes twelve great grandchildren will always be in their debt. Thank you.

My husband has Parkinson's and cannot walk. Care was provided at 8 am to get him up, washed, dressed (including shower) and make conversation. At 8:30 pm he was returned to bed. As his wife, I couldn't have asked for anything better.

My mum has started having Inchwater Home Care carers in twice a day. They have been fabulous! Very professional, kind and hard working. They put mum at ease and just seem to instinctively know what needs to be done. We as a family, now refer to them as Mary Poppins carers. They are amazing and mum couldn't
be happier. Thank you.

I have no hesitation in recommending Inchwater Home Care. From the moment I contacted them regarding support for my mother, which was a vulnerable time for us both, the team were kind, caring and extremely professional. Their understanding, at this difficult point in my mother’s life, was absolutely
crucial. They were extremely supportive and perceptive, comforting us both. The staff looked after my mother with great care and dignity, providing her with the ability to stay in her own little home, which was invaluable to her. They provided companionship enabling her to remain as independent as she could, accompanying her out on walks which she always looked forward to.
I am extremely grateful to all the team who were always available and ready to help in any way they could.

Our family has been consistently impressed by the care Inchwater Care Home gave our mother. Inchwater organised sessions for her, trips out, helps with shopping, long walks and just sitting quietly in her home. But when she fell, the carer took her to the local injury unit. They introduced personal
care to a person who was fiercely proud and took some persuading but she came to really appreciate what they did for her. The carer sent her a postcard whilst she was away on holiday which made my mother feel valued. Later she suffered a serious stroke and the Inchwater carer visited her on her own initiative, at the stroke unit. Inchwater tailored a package of care to suit my mother's needs and were extremely perceptive in assessing her needs throughout the weeks she was able to stay at home. Sadly our mother has now had to move into a residential care home but I am convinced Inchwater's input allowed her to stay where she really wanted to be...'her home'.

We have used Inchwater for almost 2 years to help assist with my mother’s Alzheimers and vascular dementia and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They have offered a very personal service for my mother and really treat her as an individual. The manager and the team have all really invested

their time and efforts in allowing my mother to remain safely at home. Assisting her to maintain the skills she already has and keeping her in a manageable routine.
They have supported and encouraged her to continue to do the things she loves, like gardening and riding whilst showing compassion, patience and knowledge during her decline.
I don't live locally but I’m always confident that Inchwater safely manages her drugs and medical appointments, and most importantly my mother trusts and feels comfortable around them.
