Inchwater has provided community services for thirty years and is rated 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (October 2019).

Inchwater Home Care offers bespoke personal care, companionship and support for adults who want to maintain their independence by living at home.

Care workers work with only two or three people, which means they have the time to build a meaningful personal relationship with clients. This sees clients benefit from a continuity of care and a high level of service.

Care workers are carefully selected for patience, empathy, compassion and common sense.

Home care can include arranging and taking clients to appointments, housekeeping, companionship, washing, ironing, preparing meals, collecting prescriptions, help with reading, shopping, organising trips and even assisting with pets.

Experienced staff can also deliver specialist dementia care, palliative care and care for those with other long-term conditions (such as Motor Neurone Disease, stroke and Parkinson's disease).

Funding & Fees Guide for Inchwater Home Care

  • Prices
  • Weekdays (7am to 9pm) = £36 /hr
    Weekends (anytime) = £38 /hr
    Bank Holidays (anytime) = £72 /hr
    A visit charge of £1.50 applies to each call.


  • All fees are calculated per hour. Please note, we do not cover calls for a shorter period than this.


    We do not charge for mileage (i.e. to and from your home), but will charge £1 per mile if we take you to an appointment or shopping in one of our vehicles.


    All clients require a care assessment prior to starting with us, as every care package is bespoke. We do not charge for care assessments, care reviews or telephone support* and are happy to be first-responder for life-line contacts. (*including contacting GP's or other health professionals on your behalf)

I have just returned home from a very successful 9 day stay with my Dad who has some severe healthcare needs. Mum, his main carer was having a well deserved and much needed holiday with my sister. I offered to come and take her place cooking, cleaning and keeping Dad company through the day. However,
unlike in the past when I have done this, I no longer felt I could do all Dad’s personal care too as his condition had significantly changed. We arranged for Inchwater Home Care – his usual personal care provider to not only come for the morning routine as usual, but also to come in the evenings too and assist Dad in getting into bed. Because of this arrangement Dad and I had a very happy and restful week too. I was able to stay on top of all the tasks and jobs I needed to do – preparing meals, administering medications and doing some household jobs for Mum in her absence, as well as spend quality time with Dad. The service provided by Inchwater Home Care couldn’t have been better. They came as arranged each day at the time arranged and always the expected carer. They were able to provide a continuation of usual routine for Dad, despite the change of Mum being away and this reduced his anxiety enormously. I have very high standards and cannot fault their care. They really care for Dad as they might for their own relative. The alternative for us would have been to have made use of a residential care home which, whilst it may have been an excellent provider of care, Dad would have been miserable being away from his familiar surroundings and Mum wouldn’t have been able to relax and enjoy herself knowing he was unhappy. The carers always had time to stop and talk about concerns I had and help problem solve any issues that arose. I felt very supported in the responsibility of my role with Inchwater Home Care working so closely with me and I won’t hesitate to repeat the exercise.

With a background in adult social care, Hazel is the lynch-pin around which the business thrives. She is responsible for all aspects of client care and staff welfare.


Often out of the office, Hazel takes a very 'hands-on' approach and is a key figure in helping us achieve an Outstanding quality of care.


Hazel completed an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care in 2019, and takes responsibility across a wide range of Care Management tasks.

Paul jointly owns Inchwater Home Care with his wife Maddie. He is responsible for the overall management of the company.


Paul has a life-long interest in working with adults in a social-care setting and believes strongly that empathy and compassion are the key elements to providing excellent care.


Paul is a qualified Social Worker and has worked with vulnerable adults for more than twenty years. He has a Doctorate in Education, is the Academic Compliance Lead for a leading healthcare training provider and is an International Research Fellow at the England Centre for Practice Development.
