Home Instead Barnsley is an award-winning home care company, aiming to change the face of ageing in the Barnsley area. They provide a wide range of high quality, home care services available to seniors aged 18 or over, which allows them to live independent and comfortable lives at home.

They provide excellent personal care services, companionship, dementia care, respite care and home help services which are flexible and tailored to each individual. Unlike other care companies, Home Instead Barnsley provides care visits from a couple of hours to 24 hours a day to ensure that all care needs are met, regardless of how late or early it is.

Our experience of Home Instead has been very positive. My main concern when I need to go to the shops is that my husband is calm and happy. Both care givers who have come to us have established a good relationship with him and are happy to chat with him or let him doze if he seems tired. It is an unexpected
bonus that the care giver does some ironing for me.

I have used Home Instead for several months now for my mum who has slight alzheimer's. I find the three ladies who come very friendly and always willing to help. They are prompt and nothing is too much trouble for them.
They are wonderful and cannot express how much weight, they have lifted from my
shoulders by helping with housework, companionship and shopping. Excellent service and wonderful staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone else.

To them, it truly is personal. Alzheimer’s disease is something that has affected both of their families, and they believe that had there been a service to provide home care, their loved ones would have lived longer and happier lives.
