Highly recommend Home Instead. Our experience has been first-class in all aspects. They are responsive, considerate, reliable, effective and provide a safe professional and caring service to our father, adapting to his needs when required. The whole process of setting up the care was straight forward,
easy and happened very quickly, which gave us great peace of mind. Carers are friendly and helpful, and our father looks forward to their visits. Have already recommended Home Instead to those seeking elderly care support.

My family have been consistently impressed with the team at Home Instead. They have been really thoughtful, person-centred, responsive and flexible in meeting our family member’s needs. When sought, their advice has always felt well-considered and reflective of a high level of experience and skill.
All members of the team with whom we have dealt have been very approachable and accommodating. The communication has been faultless. We can’t recommend Home Instead highly enough!

My brother suffered from mild autism, but then in June 2016 was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. After careful research, I appointed Home Instead to provide care. Initially, this was for two hours twice a week, but as he deteriorated, Home Instead were able to provide increased care with medication,
personal care, dressing, shopping, cleaning, laundry etc.
Over the 2 1/2 year period he probably had six carers, working together and I met most of them. They were each as nice and caring as was possible to be. They all seemed to be doing the job because they wanted to help others rather than for the money. The office organisation was just as good. As I travelled overseas a lot, they kept me informed of my brother's condition, including arranging and attending occasional hospital/Doctors visits etc. I really couldn't praise the Weston Super Mare branch of this franchise organisation more highly. They simply could not be bettered on every count.

Having worked in the Health Care Sector myself it was important for me to find the best possible care for my husband who has dementia. I found this in Home Instead Senior Care. We have a companion gentleman for my husband for 2 days a week for two hours each visit.
My husband looks forward to those
days, it also gives me a bit of a break.

I have been very pleased with everything that the company has done for my uncle and Aunt., I have experienced several agencies and they do not come close to the support and care that the company has given to both them and family. Without their dedicated and thoughtful constant help, their life would
have been so different. Many thanks to all the employees, the office staff were always so kind and helpful as well. The manager is a joy to talk to.

I have been using Home Instead Senior Care for my mother for over 12 months, they have provided very good service. My mother knows the same person will call at the same time every day and when holiday cover is needed the new person will be introduced beforehand. My mum will always say to you, "the ladies
are lovely". If the carers see any cause for concern, I am advised immediately. This gives me peace of mind and would I recommend? Yes, definitely.

My carer has first cared for my late wife and then taken over by myself for about 5 years. I have had perfect service. She arrives on time and does whatever is required and having been a carer for so long, she has a routine which suits me perfectly.

The office staff are always prompt and very helpful

whenever they have to make an adjustment for any reason and make a point of introducing relief carers when possible.

I have excellent service from Home Instead caring for the client who suffers from dementia and is now in a care home. Since June 30th, 2016, staff assist in care when they come to offer companionship in a friendly, patient and loving way. They make her laugh and relax through difficult times (eg when
incontinent) and take her out when weather permits. We both deeply appreciate the support Home Instead provides.

I have been a client with Home Instead for over three years and have enjoyed a high level of care from very helpful and friendly carers throughout this time. The carers are prompt, adaptable and treat me with respect and dignity at all times and I have always had the same two carers which is very nice
for me and my family. The manager knows my circumstances and reviews my care on a regular basis and I have a lot of confidence in the company.

I have had three lovely ladies from February to July coming in twice a day. I have had both hips replaced and have found their help invaluable whilst I recovered. I will recommend the service to anyone who needs help. They certainly helped my recovery.

Even though I have only used Home Instead for 4 weeks, the carers and management have been extremely sympathetic to my wife's requirements and needs. They have been very informative of any ranges that have been made to schedules and I am always made aware if there have been any issues. The carers and
management always come across as professional and very friendly which really helps when it comes to caring for my wife.

Very happy with the service provided and the staff involved. The carer they have given us is beyond excellent, caring and genuinely enjoys working with my dad. He trusts her completely and we are very confident in her abilities. The office staff give us all the information we need regarding schedules
and holidays etc. well in advance so we are able to respond accordingly. Thank you all very much for treating my dad with dignity and care.

My partner and I have a motorhome, so during normal circumstances, we’re normally away most weekends. If we’re not away and the weather is nice I spend a huge amount of time in the garden, gardening. I have a large family & love to spend time with my Nan who is one of my favourite people, this is what inspired me to work for a company like Home Instead & it is so amazing to be part of something much bigger than me & to make a difference to someone’s life.

Working for Home Instead has been extremely refreshing. Working for a business that values its employees as much as they care for their clients is just amazing!

My name is Sam and I’m a Team Leader.

I was born and raised on the Isle of Wight with my sister and twin brother. When I left school, I took up a 3 year course at college for landscape gardening which I really enjoyed doing and being outdoors. Then I worked for 2 Harvester restaurants as part of the management team in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. I moved back to the Isle of Wight and that's when I came across care, I worked for 2 care companies, but I had to stop after my motorbike accident back in 2015. When I was able to go back to work, I moved back to Hertfordshire and started to work for Home Instead in Hemel Hempstead as a care coordinator.

I then moved to Sampford Courtenay and lived there for 4 years, but I also worked for the Tavistock Home Instead office where I was the On Call Manager and Scheduler for 3 & a half years.

Care is a job that I enjoy doing to help and support anyone who needs people like us and find the job very rewarding. I speak to our clients and Care Professionals every day, asking how their day has been and lots more, it is so lovely to hear stories from clients and what they enjoy doing.

The training and support that I got from Home Instead over the 6 years have been amazing, they are always willing to go that extra mile no matter what and working with the office team and care professionals have also been really supportive.

Home Instead is just one big happy family…
