When I found I was unable to cope with my husband's personal hygiene needs I called on Bluebird Care who put me on a waiting list. This was not for long as I called them again telling them I'd had enough. Quickly they set up a care plan for my husband. Each visit from a carer can be difficult as my
husband is stubborn and defiant. The carers remain polite and professional and treat my husband with dignity even when he is horrible to them.

Bluebird have helped to care for my mother for about a year now. The whole team are excellent, they treat my mother very well and communication is excellent. Around Christmas time, Bluebird provided extra care, which was a great help. Thoroughly recommended.

The carers at Bluebird Care have provided excellent care and support for my mother. She has visits three times each week and looks forward to them. The team are caring and encouraging. They show patience and understanding of my mother's needs. In addition, the office staff provide excellent and accurate
support. All in all, I would definitely recommend the director and her excellent team.

We would definitely recommend Bluebird Care to people looking for a carer organisation. Our nana was cared for by Bluebird carers until the time came for her to move to residential care. As a family, we all felt reassured by the daily communication on the app. The carer's genuine concern and positive
regard for our nana were evident in the care notes. We really appreciated the attention to detail, especially the time chatting with her and having a laugh about a soap. The carer's contact certainly contributed to her fulfilling her wish to stay at home for as long as possible. The carers are supported by a dedicated team, if there were any queries or issues with meds, for example, the staff in the office were always helpful, friendly and organised. It gave us peace of mind that the lines of communication were open and that we were all working together for the wellbeing of our nana. Thank you so much!

Carers have always been on time, prompt and professional. They always consider Mum and her needs but always ask if there is anything else required to do. Mum is very happy to be in her own home and this is the best environment for her and as a family, we wouldn't be able to keep her at home without

Until my parents, unfortunately, had to go into residential care they received excellent care from Bluebird Care. This enabled them to stay in their own home for much longer than they would have been, which all of us greatly appreciated. The staff were all helpful, thoughtful and communicative. Thanks

All seems to be going very well since care visits were started a month ago in mid-June 2022. The primary task of this visit is to ensure that Mum's daily medication is being taken; we had noticed that if we could not get to visit her (we're in our mid-70's) any day, the medication was being forgotten.
We are most grateful that the tablet uptake is now daily!
In the light of experience, and being aware of my elderly mother's short-term memory incapabilities, we have recently asked for short hand-over notes to be written up in her house diary, particularly on acceptance or refusal of food preparation. This is most valuable, as it permits us to have an idea of what nutrition my Mum is actually taking (we still try to visit at least every other day, so we also look for other signs: stock levels reducing, packaging disposed of, etc.).
And it seems that Mum is very happy to have these visits from your Bluebird ladies. Thank you.

Bluebird Care looked after my dad for 3 months. The carers were always friendly and happy to help. They showed great respect to him and were always patient and calm. Problems were dealt with immediately and the app that they use was a great way for us to see he was ok. Thank you for all your help.

The carer comes each week and I can relax knowing my dad will have fun - going out for a day trip or a walk, then helped with lunch. He always looks forward to the visit and after is stimulated to do things around the house.

Care started middle of May 2022. The care plan in place is being followed. Haven’t been present when carers have attended. All going well. The carers are polite and always willing to give assistance. If unsure, there is always someone to speak to.

Staff are friendly and smartly dressed. They have always been punctual and have made my parents feel comfortable in what is always an initial awkward situation having to accept care.
The carers took time to chat to my parents and find out a bit about them and have always been respectful in their home.
Communication with the main office has also been very good and I feel that they are at the end of the phone and will try to accommodate our wishes.
It has been a very good decision to start Bluebird care to help my parents and has given us peace of mind. Would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with the service Mam receives from Bluebird Care.
Currently, they only go in two days per week to give me a break and Mam looks forward to their visits. If I have a holiday they go in twice a day every day and they are happy to organise this with a few weeks' notice.
The staff seem
to have a genuine warmth for their customers and each other. I witnessed this at their recent Jubilee celebration.

We are impressed by this company. Despite the shortage of carers, we have never been left without anyone. They always come at the allotted time. They know the care plan but will always do more if requested and have time. They are attentive and listen, but always polite and caring. If someone new is
to come, they send them to shadow first. They are more like a friend.
