Not having elderly relatives of my own has shielded me from the in-home care world until now. I regularly visit friends of a certain age that use in-home care provided by Sure Care Oxford and I have on occasion had to speak with their office. I am very pleased with the level of care and understanding
showed by their carers and also the updates that we receive to help us understand the level of care being provided. Overall I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the care provided by Sure Care and the team that I speak with in their offices. I would highly recommend Sure Care Oxford as a trustworthy, reliable, understand care provider for the Oxford area.

All SureCare carers are very kind and helpful to my mother.

The care that mum receives is absolutely fantastic!


Caring compassionate - nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. Our only regret is that we didn't employ them sooner.

Surecare were fantastic organising a part-time carer for my Aunt when she returned from the hospital a couple of years ago. As her needs increased we increased the care and Surecare were very good at organising consistent carers for her. Having met a few of the carers on visits to the house they always
seemed to really care for my Aunt and were respectful and helpful. My Aunt seemed pleased with the live-in carer arrangements and very happy with the care that was provided. I know she bonded with some of the carers and really looked on them as close friends which was lovely for her in that she could not really leave the house anymore due to disability.
I was also happy with the ability to contact the staff at Surecare easily. The staff were always helpful and would answer queries quickly and effectively. They are a lovely bunch of people who do their demanding job very well each day.

The management team have excellent communication skills, listen to needs, show genuine concern, and enable many positive experiences.


The whole company is very welcoming and puts the needs of the clients and carers foremost.
The carers are naturally chatty, gregarious and willing to assist and carry

out any task requested. The carers are professional and ensure clients are given the opportunity to be as independent as possible, whilst being able to have the foresight to carry out tasks without being asked - truly excellent care company.

Staff are reliable and polite at all times, they carry out their duties to a very high standard. My mum is very happy with the service she receives and we could not ask for any more.

My father was looked after by Surecare for many years, up until his recent admission to a care home. Early on there were a few problems but these have been resolved and we have been very happy with his care. He has had some exceptional carers who have got to know Dad and his quirky ways. They have gone
out of their way to be helpful and to care. They have taken advice from me in an attempt to personalise Dad’s care to keep him as well as possible. The rota sorters have been very obliging when Dad’s care needs have changed at short notice. Carers have been friendly and Dad has enjoyed their visits. As I have been closely involved in Dad’s care I have appreciated being able to communicate efficiently with staff in the office. I feel efficiency has improved over the past couple of years and this has been much appreciated. Thank you to you all. Ps. Re the scoring, there are some individuals I would score as Excellent, carers and staff, but overall I think Good is appropriate.

Following an accident, my Mum has used SureCare for two years plus and the service is fantastic. Mum has a great carer who always gives 110% and the office back up is great.

We have received excellent care support for Mum from carers who really care and who are good communicators which has really helped me support Mum during a very difficult time.

SureCare were able to respond immediately to my request for care, for my father. Their prompt response has enabled my father to continue to live at home and remain independent. Their service has been a huge comfort and reassurance for me.

Kim

Kim Johnson

Job Title: Operation's Manager

Joined: 2019

Kim was recruited to transform our business. Kim is an experienced care manager and has worked across the country managing multiple sites. She joined SureCare to stay closer to home and was keen to get stuck into driving an agency that puts the client first. Kim was charged with ensuring compliance was excellent and her diligence and attention to detail were rewarded within her first 6 months in charge with a great CQC inspection report.


Kim's working hard to ensure all of our team makes a real difference in people's lives. One example is when she found that a family needed some additional support. Kim met with the family and spent many hours with Social Workers to release extra funding to enable vital work to be spent on their home to make it a safe place to live. Later, she gave the family the confidence to go on a day trip to the seaside by hiring a minibus and care workers and taking them on her weekend off. The children and Mother had not been out of the house together for many years. It was a memorable experience for them all.


A great example of going the extra mile and leading by example. Kim's kept our Service Users and team safe and well during the pandemic and we are really lucky to have an expert in care leading our team.


Jordan

Jordan Sears

Jordan started his career working in adult social care, working for social services as a health and social care apprentice, having a very strong background within local authority and with adults with learning disabilities. He is a hands-on manager and likes being out within the field to always maintain a high level of care, and to make sure his team always feels supported.


Jordan joined us from another local care provider and has immediately identified areas of marketing to help us make a presence in the local community. Jordan is well qualified with a Level 5 in Leadership and Management within Health and Social Care.

Alice is currently on maternity leave and hoping to return in Spring 2025.


She joined us from a local agency and immediately identified areas she wanted to do things differently which has made a positive impact.


We take on packages at short notice from a variety of sources whether privately, from the NHS or from the Council's social care team and Alice leads the assessment process to ensure we have all the information we need to start the package safely. Alice draws up care plans to detail exactly what we need to do and to liaise with the family and multidisciplinary teams to ensure we start visits in a responsive, safe and caring way.


Alice is responsible for liaising with our Service Users to ensure we meet their needs and she Line Manages our Senior Care Worker team.

My first job was companionship care which I absolutely loved and knew that I wanted to stay in care from there, so then I applied to be a domiciliary carer and loved that even more, helping my clients daily made me feel so full.


When the opportunity at SureCare came up I thought that it was the perfect job for me as I am so passionate about care being delivered correctly and for our clients to be cared for and as happy and safe as they could possibly feel.

Uzie joined SureCare in 2023 and has recently been promoted to be our Compliance Officer. She is of West African descent and has a background in HR and education, she is proud to bring that same compassion and dedication to her role in our team.

Joining the team as a carer, supporting clients one-on-one and gaining firsthand experience in their joys and challenges while providing person-centered care, all taught me the importance of trust, empathy, consistency and commitment of going over and beyond. I know that every small gesture—be it a comforting smile or a reassuring word/touch—contributes to a person’s sense of dignity and well-being.
Now, I draw on those experiences every day to ensure that our team upholds the highest standards of safety, respect, and quality in every aspect of our service.

Karen's in charge of recruitment and she's responsible for the administration around a person joining our team from that initial chat around a role through to ensuring their training is scheduled. Karen has a vital role in ensuring we are all well looked after and have everything we need in the office


Karen looks after all our PPE and makes sure we are well stocked with a variety of infection control measures to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. It's also Karen's responsibility to work closely with all of our managers and coordinators to help them with any administration they need help with. We love having Karen in the office as she welcomes all visitors and manages our entire office administration process as well as monitoring care worker compliance.


Lasma

Lasma Briska

Job Title: Care Worker

Joined: 2019

Lasma joined us in Spring 2019 having never worked in care before. She now works for us doing an evening round as well as picking up some calls when her children are at school. Lasma's completed her Care Certificate with us and is now an experienced member of the team.


Working in care has given Lasma a real confidence boost and she loves meeting new people. Lasma is proof that you don't need any experience to be a good Carer. You just need to be kind, reliable and caring. Lasma's come a long way in her year with us and we are excited for her future in social care.
