We are pleased with the care given on the social level that is needed. The Bluebird ladies are very sociable and easy to get along with. The timing is sometimes a bit out but that is OK, they have to get here and traffic, etc can be a problem. They are easy to chat with and good company.

My dad and mum have been with Bluebird Care recently in the last few months. Bluebird visit every morning and evening. Also at lunchtime at weekends. They both get on well with all the staff who visit. The carers are efficient, caring and kind.

We employed Bluebird Care to help our father back in April 2022. Thank goodness! They have been wonderful throughout, providing gentle, loving care for Dad for his last months. Ensuring he was as comfortable as possible and that the family were always kept informed of how he was doing and if he needed
anything additional. It was sometimes a really difficult situation for the team as Dad was at times quite unwell but they were always cheerful and professional. As a family, they all meant the world to us. Thanks go to all of the carers, you were fab!
The day that Dad died, two carers were amazing and in those circumstances, helped to make it the best day for him that it could have been, they were also a great support to us and we will always be grateful. Dad was really fond of the whole team and I know they were of him too. Thanks to you all.

We have been very happy with Bluebird. The carers were cheerful and positive - always careful and gentle. My mother, who was sore and anxious, quickly began to look forward to their visits and enjoyed them, and she became comfortable again and much more confident. She hated being dependent and ill in
her extreme old age. The kindness and care of Bluebird's carers turned her experience around and gave her positive pleasure and relaxation. The quality of care she received really did transform the final year of her life.
I should add that the experienced, tactful and practical help I got from the carers made what would have been difficult into something much more fun. They kept an eye on supplies, explained various bits of equipment and helped me keep control. Their comments enabled me to judge whether I needed to call others in, such as nurses or not. Really wonderful service from Bluebird. Thank you.

My sister and I were apprehensive about using carers for our mother. We had an unsuccessful experience with a live-in carer so did not know how this would work out. All of the team at Bluebird alongside the deputy manager were so helpful, professional and respectful. Any issues were clearly and quickly

We have been using care from Bluebird Care for many years looking after my Mum who is now 100 years of age.
During the past few weeks, my mother has been very poorly and Bluebird has added additional visits to help her over these past few weeks. She has now made a partial recovery but is very grateful
for the care she is receiving.
Bluebird Care contact me whenever there is a problem or a concern with my Mum so I can live life knowing that if there is anything to worry about I will be contacted immediately.
Bluebird is a very professional company and staff are very dedicated to helping their clients.

Having met a wide range of care staff during my many years as a Community Nurse, I was nervous about employing carers for Mum. But I needn't have worried: from my first contact with Bluebird's office to the final visit from a carer, I was most impressed with the service.
During the few weeks she was
on the books before needing full-time Residential care, Mum found the carers to be kind, efficient and flexible. I was kept informed of any problems and the staff stepped in when I had to ask for additional visits at the end of the contract.

Having used several care companies, this is the best one for Cambridge in my view. Office staff are organised, professional and responsive. Care staff engage with those they are caring for, work hard and arrive on time. They may seem simple and obvious things but this can lack in many care providers
in my previous experience. This is a difficult job done well. I would happily recommend this care company and will be using them again.

My wife has Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. We use Bluebird Cambridge for regular companionship care, two or three times a week, and live in care for seven days per month. The Bluebird team all have a wonderful aptitude to care and it is obvious the training is thorough and consistent. I am very
confident to leave my lovely wife in the team’s competent and professional hands. More importantly, my wife enjoys the company of all the team.

My mother has been receiving care visits from Bluebird Care since 2016. I have always found the care workers to be very caring, friendly, respectful, hard-working and trustworthy.
The company is very flexible and the management and staff go out of their way to provide the service that has been asked
of them. My parents have used other care providers in the past, but none have been anywhere near as good as Bluebird Care.

The carer who visits mum is more of a companion, as mum is now in a nursing home. Whilst unable to walk far unaided, she is mentally fairly healthly and her companion takes her out once a month. A visit to a national trust property, a church, or a garden centre often takes place. It is a significant
effort to get mum out, use the wheelchair and assist to her personal care needs. All of this is done with thought and care. Mum always enjoys her time with the carer. Highly recommended.

Bluebird have been caring for my mother for the past 10 months. She lives with me and has early dementia. The care received from the carers is excellent, kind, compassionate and efficient and also of great support to me. She can be difficult at times but they handle each day with great compassion and
professionalism.


All the administration when first registering my mother was very thorough and efficient and has continued to be so. Lines of communication are good and any queries or concerns are dealt with quickly. The team who care for my mother are a real life-line for me and I look forward to seeing them each day. I would definitely recommend Bluebird to anyone looking for care and support

I am incredibly grateful to Bluebird Care for the care that they gave to my grandmother over the past eighteen months. They delivered care of the highest standard with professionalism and genuine compassion. My grandmother's dementia often led to very challenging behaviour but not once did they waiver
in ensuring that she was safe and well looked after. My gran was always treated with respect and dignity and they were also a great source of support to me when I was finding things difficult. They went above and beyond on numerous occasions and are very easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to recommend Bluebird Care (Cambridge and South Cambs) - I can't imagine what the past few years would have been like without them.

I joined the Bluebird Care Newmarket and Fenland team, as a support worker, in March 2014. During my career with the company, I have progressed from Support Worker through to Team Leader and have now been part of the Management Team for 3 years. I currently hold the position of Care Director and am involved with overseeing the day-to-day running of the care team.


My passion lies in making a difference in the way people perceive and receive home care and ensuring that their experience is a positive and happy one.


I am heavily involved with the Skills Assessment programme that we run for new members of the care team and I have completed my Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) qualification which assists me in creating and delivering our Skills Assessment programme successfully to enable and support our care team to complete their roles when with our customers.


Alongside this, I am also completing my Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, which I feel will give me a wider knowledge of managing our senior team within their own individual roles and overseeing the day-to-day running of the business more confidently.


Throughout my career, at Bluebird Care, I have received constant and professional guidance from my Directors and have used this to further my confidence and competence.


I feel I have more to give and am always looking and working on ways to enhance my position within the company.
