My husband has dementia and is in the late stages of this terrible disease. He is now doubly incontinent, unable to speak, unable to walk and now recently he can hardly feed himself. However, every morning the carers arrive with a cheery 'good morning' asking my husband and myself how we are. I feel
they look after and treat my husband as if he were a member of their own family with kindness and respect. It doesn’t matter which carer comes within the 4 visits we get a day, they are all so cheerful and ask how we are and if it’s the evening pair they ask if I’ve had a good day. I can’t think of anything that I would want to change, they are the best!
