Yes, I would be happy to. Recommend Blue ribbon to anyone else who may be needing truly professional care.
The carers wore clean uniforms were very kind, caring and willing to do anything I needed. I liked particularly the continuity of care I had the same two instead of many different ones.
I was
introduced to them before they started so I knew who to expect. I couldn't fault the service and if I needed care again I would certainly go to Blue Ribbon

My mum has been using Blue Ribbon Community Care for over four years now. I don't live that close to her so it's really reassuring that they look after her so well.
All of the carers we've had have been respectful, friendly, helpful, caring and competent.
In general, she has the same staff to visit
her - they send her a list at the beginning of the week and contact her if there's a last-minute change.
If they're adding a new carer to the rota, the new carer will always attend with one of Mum's existing carers so that they can show them the ropes.
There have been a couple of times Mum has been under the weather while the carers were visiting. The first time, they called an ambulance, then me, then waited with Mum until I could drive there. The second time, they rang me to let me know Mum wasn't feeling too good so that I could contact her to check in.
The manager makes regular visits to check Mum is satisfied with the service.
So I'm really pleased with the standard of care she gets.

Having recently appointed Blue Ribbon Community Care carers to help my 87-year-old father-in-law, I am delighted with the service they provide. They take care of his daily needs in a professional and friendly manner, putting him at ease while they are in his home. I have found the management staff polite
and helpful. It appears that everyone at this company does their best for their clients and families and I would recommend them to anyone seeking assistance for a loved one.

Blue Ribbon have provided and continues to provide an excellent service for my mother who lives at home aged 94. The service has been tailored to meet her needs and is now adjusted to meet her changing needs. The staff are all friendly, helpful and very professional. They will do anything to help provide
the highest standard of care. Mam was initially not keen to have carers to help her and now she regards them as good friends. She is happy, relaxed and comfortable when they are in her house. Carers are also helpful and professional with other family members. The care management staff have been friendly and helpful and very professional both in setting up the care initially and continuing reviews and adjustments as required.

Blue Ribbon are a fantastic care company and an example of how all care should be. Nothing is too much trouble and every carer goes above and beyond to take care of my Mum.
They arrive on time, stay the full allocated time and anticipate Mum’s every need. They are always cheery and brighten her day.
The
office staff are always pleasant and happy to accommodate. All safety checks and reviews are thorough and communication is excellent.
I feel she is in very safe hands.

So glad we decided to choose Blue Ribbon. Mum and Dad were initially resistant to having carers but they have been so good, Mum and Dad gradually came to trust them and feel very comfortable with them; ultimately they realised they couldn't manage without them. The carers feel like part of the family
now; they keep in touch with us, letting us know of any concerns but also any tales about my dad! They showed incredible care and love to my mum when she was ill and dying and really supported her in so many ways which we all really appreciated. Since Mum died they have continued to look after Dad and are a major reason why he's settled well into life on his own and is happy. He has dementia and they all treat him with real understanding. The company are easy to deal with and very responsive to requests. We would very happily recommend them.

My mum has had Blue Ribbon carers for nearly three years. The carers have been excellent throughout. Mum is really happy to see them when they come into the house. Over the Christmas period, Mum had two falls and a chest infection and with the continued support of Blue Ribbon, she is making a steady
recovery. I have set up a camera on her chair so that I can check all is well. It is lovely to see her laughing with the carers as they come to help her. Blue Ribbon have been really helpful in adjusting to her different needs now that she has become frailer. Care has had to be altered almost day to day as together we see her new needs emerging. Both the carers and the office staff have been very cooperative and helpful as we discuss what is the best for Mum. I appreciate the effective communication with Blue Ribbon as I live some distance away and feel reassured that Mum is well cared for.

My Father could not receive any better care than he does from Blue Ribbon Community Care. The carers never seem rushed and will do anything they are asked to, however, they also work well without instruction, using their own experience to do anything that is required. The office staff are great too
and it is easy to get through to them on the phone.

My mother receives excellent companion care. The carers are consistent which has helped build a caring and loving relationship that benefits my mother who lives with dementia. She appreciates their friendly visits during which they make visits to the toilet, serving lunch, drinks and snacks a natural
unhurried part of their time with my mother. I feel confident she is safe and well cared for while I am at work.

I was very lucky to have Blue Ribbon looking after me when I was out of action. They really are an excellent set of people, from the manager, the care manager and the care workers, I couldn’t have wished for nicer people to look after me when I was ill.
I took a fall and my son insisted that I had
some support in place for me as I recovered. I was reluctant at first, but he insisted, and I’m very pleased that he did. He said he did his research and only picked the one company that he felt confident would look after me the best. The care workers were truly lovely – very friendly, very professional and very on the ball. They made my life so much easier and they were more like friends. On the occasions I phoned the office, the staff there were friendly and very efficient. I couldn’t have asked for more in a difficult time. I was even a little sad when I didn’t need their help anymore.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Blue Ribbon to anyone who needs any care or support.

We were very lucky to have our parents for so long. Dad died aged 87, Mum was 85. But I am sure their time alive was enhanced and extended by the care provided by Blue Ribbon Community Care.
The staff were always friendly, helpful and, most importantly, caring. The service was very reliable and flexible
when we needed it to be.
The support Blue Ribbon provided meant all the burden of care for my dad didn’t fall just on my mum. The care staff who visited were always sensitive to Dad’s needs and took time to talk as well as to just fulfil their duties.
After he passed away it was my mum who needed the support, which Blue Ribbon provided consistently and professionally. They ensured that her workload was reduced and that she had company every day. And towards the end, they were especially caring and attentive.
We cannot thank Blue Ribbon enough and are happy to recommend them.

What can I say... but thank you to the most professional care company ever. My mum suffers with dementia, so it's not easy to introduce change, but she loved them all and was happy whenever they arrived, as she saw them as friends and family. They helped my mum in so many many different ways, they encouraged
her to eat, clean, everything really, the list goes on, and to be totally honest, if it was not for the caring, professional staff who looked after my mum, she would not be here now. She loved to sing "sunshine corner" with them all and was always happy to talk with them all when they were there.
This may sound stupid, but I found it difficult and upsetting talking to the manager to tell her I no longer need their assistance as Mum has been admitted into a care home for 24/7 care.
I wish the Blue Ribbon staff all the very best for the future, and I thank them from my heart for the help you gave me, and my mum, through very, very difficult times over the past 3-years.

I can't praise Blue Ribbon highly enough. The care provided first to both my parents and then my mother has been exceptional.
Carers were first introduced twice weekly in 2014 when it became apparent that both were in the early stages of dementia. The number of visits increased as their care needs
became more complex and challenging. Eventually, we had visits four or five times a day with as many hours as Blue Ribbon could spare! So, in September 2017, a carer came to live-in, with carers already known to my parents coming in 4 hours daily giving him respite.
Dad died in July 2018. By then both were still ambulant but very disorientated and exhibiting some very challenging behaviour. Throughout they were treated with care and compassion and all their needs met.
Mam finally passed away on 9th December peacefully in her own bed.
Without Blue Ribbon it wouldn't have been possible for them to have ended their lives in the home they have loved and lived in since they married in 1954.

Cannot praise Blue Ribbon Care highly enough. The care provided for my mother was exceptional. The carers were like family to Mam and she loved to see them on a daily basis. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the Administration Staff were equally impressive and very proactive in their responses.

I was very apprehensive about having a carer look after my mam, following an accident and a long stay in hospital and rehab. However, I need not have worried because from my first meeting with the manager, Blue Ribbon Community Care (Tyne and Wear - Sunderland) have been so professional and caring.
I was impressed that an initial visit was arranged so that my mam and I could meet some of the small team that now looks after her. My mam now views them more as trusted friends than carers and this is a testament to the kindness and respect with which they look after her. Whenever there's been a problem with which I've needed their help, for example when mam hurt her leg and suddenly couldn't manage the stairs, Blue Ribbon Community Care (Tyne and Wear - Sunderland) has acted swiftly and effectively to provide the extra care she needed. I am so grateful for the peace of mind knowing that the wonderful Blue Ribbon Community Care (Tyne and Wear - Sunderland) team is providing the care my mam needs, especially during the coronavirus crisis. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing professional care for a loved one.

Blue Ribbon provide excellent care, mixing a professional approach with a real sense of personal care for my father. The carers are always friendly and treat my dad with great respect and dignity. I am very happy with the service they give and feel like I can trust them with anything. My dad looks forward
to their visits and appreciates the sensitivity and care the carers show to him.

Hello, I’m, Leanne and I’m the Registered Manager of Blue Ribbon Community Care (Tyne & Wear). This means that it is my job to ensure that you receive outstanding care and support from us. We do this by spending time with you beforehand to discuss all your needs and wants and then devising a plan with you that will meet those needs. I’ve worked in social care my entire working life and I came to Blue Ribbon because I knew that their only objective was to deliver high-quality care all of the time. This has been shown in our many awards from Homecare.co.uk as well as our “Outstanding” rating from the CQC. I can’t imagine ever working anywhere else!
