My Dad was in the care of Bluebird Care for a number of months until being admitted to hospital in December 2020. The care he received was exceptional, every carer treating him as they would one of their own family. Dad's needs changed over time, but the care remained of a high standard. He's extremely
hard of hearing so it became more difficult for him once Covid arrived and masks had to be worn. His carers always ensured that he understood what they needed to do and that he was ok with it. Unfortunately it came to the point were Dad needed 24 hour care and we as a family felt that it was time for him to move into a nursing home as his needs had changed considerably.
We can't thank the girls (and occasionally boys) from Bluebird enough for the care that they gave Dad, it was second to none and we really appreciated it and so did Dad. We came to look on them as part of pour extended family. Thank you Bluebird.

My dad was in palliative care and my mum needed night care so she could rest. We had a wonderful carer doing waking nights several times a week. She was excellent with Dad and kept his spirit up right to the end, she was with Dad and us when he passed away. We could not thank her and Bluebird enough
for what they did for us.

My mum was at the end of her life and a double hand. We were told that these people were fully trained in end of life care. She had four times a day and in the first day saw eight different carers. Sadly not one of the eight read the care plan before entering the home and expected us to tell them what
was needed. This company should not be trading, they knew nothing about end of life care and once left my mother not knowing if she was dead or not. Thank god we still had a live-in carer that rushed straight to Mum and called the family as she was in a bad way. Thankfully she only had to put up with this for 48 hours. Sadly she has now passed away. People be very careful about this company and its staff do not listen.

I felt compelled to write a review on how outstanding this care company was in undertaking my father's needs in his last weeks. Such was their care, attention to detail, empathy and regard for my father's wishes, dignity and comfort, I am comforted to know how calmly and serenely my father was able
to cross the bridge.
He was under palliative care and suffered many ailments, yet this care company saw to it that his every wish was met and due diligence and kindness afforded him the most comfort in his last weeks. Bluebird Care interacted with myself and other family members and kept us informed of his needs and status as the days went on. The carers were all so professional and of cheery, kind dispositions, with great emphasis on attention to detail, giving his medication and serving his dietary requirements.
I was so impressed by this company and so inspired by the team leaders as well as the carers that I have applied to work for them.
A company with outstanding ethics/ethos.

Really impressed and happy with all aspects of Bluebird Care Agency - the management were really flexible and helped us through a very difficult time with multiple last-minute care requests and cancellations - super empathetic and understanding. The carers were all really kind, professional and experienced
... completely unphased about caring for my father who suffers from severe dementia and was often unpredictable and always very tricky to care for and they all did a superb job.
I would not hesitate to call Bluebird again in the future and would highly recommend them.

The care Bluebird gave to Mum during her last days was exceptional. The girls treated Mum as though she was their own mum. They took time and always found out what Mum needed that day, they communicated outside of the visits so the next carers who came were fully up to date with how Mum had been and
whilst we were struggling, we felt that we were not alone, as they always asked if we were ok and if we needed anything. They were so gentle and compassionate. I would, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone who needs a professional and caring company for their loved one.

My wife has been receiving care from the company for over two years now. The caring staff are excellent, but not can be said for the management. They need a good shakeup.

My mother has dementia and all the staff she has had have been caring and treated her with dignity. They have done all that has been agreed between myself and Bluebird for the care of my mother. I am extremely happy with the care she is receiving. Also if I have any queries the office and management
staff have always had the answer and stored my problem.

I have worked in the Care Sector for 32 years in numerous places such as care homes, hospitals, and domiciliary. I felt I wanted a change of role but to remain in the care sector as this is what I enjoy doing and feel like I can make a difference every day.

I now work in the Bluebird Care Swale Office as a Care Supervisor where I can have a positive impact on people's lives and contribute to their care but from an office-based role.

Job Title: Deputy Head of Care/Care Coordinator

I started working for Bluebird Care Swale in 2018 as a care assistant. This was completely new to me but I absolutely loved my role. Everyday was different and knowing that I was making a difference to people’s lives, made me realise I had chosen the right career path for me.

My goal at the time was to become part of the Swale Office Team so that I could be involved in speaking with professionals, supervising and work my way up through the company. I started off as a care supervisor in 2019, to then changing my role in 2021 to Care Coordinator which I am still very much enjoying now, ensuring that all our customers are receiving visits on their required days and times. My role as a coordinator is often challenging but enjoyable.

I have recently been promoted to Deputy head of care which I am very grateful for. I have worked hard to be where I am now and I am proud to work for such great team who all work hard to ensure our customers are being provided with the best care.

Hi, I’m Jordan Byrne, the proud owner of Bluebird Care Swale! I studied management at the London School of Economics and spent some time on the MBA program at Yale. Before getting into homecare, I worked in finance in the City of London and across Europe. But what has always driven me is making a real difference in people’s lives.

My decision to lead this homecare agency is personal. Having experienced the need for care within my own family, I understand firsthand the impact it can have—not only on those receiving care but also on their loved ones. Too often, we forget the strain that falls on family members, who give so much of themselves to ensure their relatives are looked after. This understanding motivates me every day.

There is an infectious belief among our staff, and within the local community, that we truly have the best carers in the area. Therefore, I have always seen that my main role is to support the team so they can focus on doing what they do best—delivering exceptional care to you and your loved ones. It’s my job to make sure they have everything they need to make your journey easier, and to make it the best experience possible.

I don’t take the responsibility of running this company lightly. I know how important this service is, and I’m dedicated to ensuring that you can trust us every step of the way. You can count on me and my team to provide the care and attention you deserve. We and I will not let you down.

Hello! My name is Sean, my role here at Bluebird Care is to help make the lives of staff as easy as possible through operational efficiency so our Bluebird Care teams can focus on what we do best, delivering the highest quality care!
My, background has involved a few different experiences. I have previously worked at the West Ham United First Team as a sports scientist from 2019 to 2021! Following that, I worked in a start-up company as an operational lead and technology consultant. Where me and my team built the company's presence in the local community whilst focusing on how to run our day-to-day operations as efficiently as possible to benefit our staff. Following this I took on a very high-pressure role as a lead recruitment consultant for a fast-growing company in London where we doubled our headcount in 6 months.
I am so excited to be part of the Bluebird Care family, the work that everyone does here is so impactful to the community and I am looking forward to meeting everyone who is a part of this amazing company and hearing and being a part of all about the great work that everyone does day to day.
