The client has recently had an unfortunate accommodation issue that resulted in significant disruption and distress. The care team at Bluebird Care stepped in and definitely went the extra mile to bring the situation under control quickly and efficiently; so minimising the impact and distress for the client. The care, dedication and professionalism of the carers and managers who dealt with the situation was second to none and has been hugely appreciated.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the service we've provided for the past three years. It is our pleasure to support our customer with daily visits to her Marylebone home. I'm delighted to read that our service has been consistently excellent for her; continuously liaising with you as her guardian and being immediately responsive to her changing requirements are essential elements of delivering a 'CQC Outstanding' level of support. When opportunities arise to go the extra mile for our customers, we rise to the challenge and strive to exceed expectations. The circumstance you mention in your review is one such occasion where swift, decisive action was required and taken. I am delighted to hear your Customer Service Manager was able to significantly mitigate the upset and disruption. Our Bluebirds always aim to be 'second to none' - what a marvellous description! Thank you again for your kind words; they mean the world to our team.

It has been a pleasure supporting your mother in her Holland Park home. She is a joy to support! As her requirements changed, we were able to adapt the service from home care to live-in care. I am thrilled to read that our carer matching process has been a runaway success! Helping our customers remain safe and happy at home, supporting our customers and their family members. This is precisely what our service sets out to achieve. Many people think that increased needs mean a loss of independence and a move away from their beloved home. Our service proves this simply isn't the case and one can be supported at home to enjoy life on one's own terms. Our live-in care team are hand-picked to fit each customer's requirements and personalities and they boast well-rounded skill sets that match their innate kindness, empathy, and compassion. I am delighted to read that you are thrilled with our service and can't wait to share this beautiful feedback with her Bluebirds!

It was our honour to provide live-in care and then palliative care with waking nights to your mother in her home; the past two years with her were simply wonderful. She was warm and kind... a genuine delight for our care team and office team. I am pleased to hear that you found the Bluebird service to be organised, safe, and professional. We strive to deliver the sterling standard of care for residents of Westminster, RBKC, and the City of London so it is a joy to read that your mother received exactly this. We hire for values - kindness, empathy, compassion - and train for excellence in care which means absolutely every Bluebird Care Assistant should meet the same high bar. On behalf of your mother's care team, we are so grateful that you've taken the time to share your thoughts. Her passing has created a void that we fill by remembering and celebrating her beautiful spirit.

Peter’s first experience of arranging care was fraught and riddled with anxiety. “Finding care at short notice and trying to work with companies with no customer service ethos was frustrating. That’s when I thought there must be a better way!” Fast forward to 2023 and with over a decade of industry experience, Peter owns and oversees triple CQC Outstanding Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea.
After university he worked for an NGO in New Delhi, using his law degree to change government policy and improve lives. This passion for transformative change permeates his operation of Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea. “We are changing lives for the better, providing local residents with the opportunity to create their very best in-home support structure, delivered by Bluebirds. Requiring care and support can make one feel quite vulnerable. Our aim is to make choosing care an empowering moment, one that unlocks positive outcomes with the ultimate goal of remaining safe and happy at home.”
With his first foray into arranging care for a family member ending in disappointment, Peter notes, “Our most important ethos is to provide professional care that keeps each customer at the heart of their service… care that we would be happy for our own families to receive. Delivering a consistently compassionate, highly skilled, professional service is why two-thirds of our new customers come to us via personal recommendation.”
Peter and his young family enjoy every aspect of the Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and City of London boroughs from summer walks in Regents Park to winter ice skating at the Natural History Museum.
