My Mum has carers in every day. To be honest, I really don't know what we would do without them. The girls help Mum with personal care, providing her lunch and leaving a sandwich for her tea, which enables me to still do a part time job. When I do my daily visit, I know that she has had her medication,
meals etc so we can then have quality time rather than me doing these things. Most importantly, she loves to see the girls each day for a chat and she sees them as her friends as well as carers. For a 90-year-old with both vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease, routine is vitally important and the carers will always endeavour to keep to her regular hours. I know that my Mum is in extremely good hands as they always keep in touch with me should they have any concerns. I cannot praise these girls more highly as they are so caring and kind, thank you all.

We are both very pleased about the standard of care, the quality of that care that primarily my husband receives, but also the care shown towards me. The care received from the team who visit us is always consistent, we know what time they will come, who will give that care. We are always treated with
dignity and respect. My husband and I could not manage without the Home Instead team.

I am a pensioner and it fell to me to look after my 94-year-old mother. I needed some help with mom at lunchtimes so contacted Home Instead. The girls who help me by providing lunch for my mother are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

My Mom has frontal lobe dementia and we needed initially companionship for her. However, it was unique in that we wanted Dad to still be able to go out with Mom to Redditch for example. Home Instead Senior Care (Redditch and Bromsgrove) were amazing they carefully matched the carer not only to Mom but
my Dad too! Mom's care increased - no problem! Home Instead Senior Care (Redditch and Bromsgrove) are amazing and their knowledge is up to date and they NEVER let you down.

Reply from Annie Dixon-Dunn at Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove)

Thank you so much for your kind words. It truly was our pleasure to care for your Mom, she was well loved by everyone who met her.

The level of care provided has been exemplary. We are sorry to be leaving due to the local authority incapacity to support this higher level of care due to limited costs available to the authority. Staff have performed above and beyond in their emotional support for the family who have suffered bereavements
and housing difficulties for the daughters of the client. They have supported me (daughter) in defamiliarising the client with her own home following a flood. They have provided good quality training to their staff to ensure they understand Vascular Dementia. We would like to thank you for all the care and support received.

We took on the carer services of Home Instead and we were very pleased with them. The Carers were very friendly, trustworthy and totally reliable (even after a heavy snowfall and icy roads, the Carers still turned up on time). They were very efficient in what they did and always showed great initiative
when they encountered a problem of any sort.
I would not hesitate in recommending their services to anyone.

The overall service given by Home Instead is first class. Each member of the team ensures the safety, well-being and happiness of my mother. We are regularly updated with information about my mother's condition and if any changes need to be implemented. The staff are always friendly and are always ready
to go that extra mile if needed.
The care package is flexible and is regularly reviewed concerning my mother's condition and needs. Wonderful service, nice people and above all, excellent care.

I would have no hesitation of recommending Home Instead Senior Care to anyone looking for an excellent service provider.
My sister needed care quickly after various illnesses with many health problems. The professionalism of their manager and although not meeting any of the care staff in person, my
sister said they were all excellent, attentive and very caring.

I find Home Instead carers very attentive and reliable. They clearly understand my wife's disabilities and work carefully to deal with them and support her.
The Personal care comes in two types - early morning support, five days a week and companionship/personal care three days a week or additional
as necessary.
In all cases, the ladies have excellent manners and make my wife feel comfortable. The companionship ladies are treated as friends.

My mother has been using the services of Home Instead for over 2 years. During this time the service they provide has been excellent. The carers are smartly dressed, polite, are always on time and above all friendly and kind. They always go the extra mile and for my peace of mind, they picked up any
problems which were promptly reported to me.
Unfortunately, Mom, now in her 99th year has deteriorated and needs 24-hour care in a nursing home. I will always be grateful to 'the girls' who helped me keep Mom at home for so long.

The care at Home Instead that was given to my late mother was excellent. She was 95 years, very independent and stubborn. She also had dementia.
The care they gave was second to none.
They provided personal care, as well as companionship, which kept my mother's dignity to the end.
The maturity of
the carers was excellent. They were kind and caring which enabled myself to keep her independence in her own home, alongside the care that I gave.
A brilliant company as my mother was bought up in care and never wanted to go back into a care home.

We have used Home Instead for nearly 3 years, to provide care to my parents. The staff providing care were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, they went over and above what we expected to make sure mom and dad were cared for, allowing us to keep mom at home for an extended period which is what
she wanted.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone who needs care, everyone we have dealt with from carers to staff in the office has always been helpful nothing was too much trouble during some very difficult times for all the family.

Reply from Annie Dixon-DUnn, Director at Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove)

We have had tremendous service from the Home Instead team both the caregivers and the back office team. The carers have built a strong relationship with my mother who looks forwards to their visits and regards them more as friends.
We have been impressed by the consistently high standards of recruitment
and service delivery and would have no hesitation recommending Home Instead to others.

Have seen 3 ladies who all have helped get my skin in much better order. At first, it was raw and very painful, but after applying and rubbing in ointment all over, it has much improved. Doesn't itch too much and no sore patches. All very pleasant, kind ladies who have helped me as I could not do it
myself.

I would like to take the opportunity to say how much we appreciate all the support that your team of carers provide and, most of all, how they lift Mum's spirits and bring happiness to her life. She absolutely loves the 'girls' as she calls her carers and the outings to see horses which have been such
an important part of her life.

As my brother and I live in France and only able to visit Mum every month or two, the support that Home Instead provide reassures us that she is in the best possible hands.

Job Title: Registered Manager & Head of Operations

My role is to lead the team to maintain outstanding standards, and to ensure we are compliant with our regulating body, the Care Quality Commission. I oversee the smooth running of all aspects of the business, whether it is Care, People or Scheduling. My aim is to always be looking to the next level and how we can always improve the experiences of both our clients and Care Professionals.

I myself have been on quite the journey with Home Instead during my tenure here. I started my career as an administrator and CAREGiver, before progressing into the role of Care Coordinator from there I moved into a role on the people side of the business as a CAREGiver Support Officer, which involved improving staff engagement and from there Head of Engagement. In 2020 I moved back to the care team and took on Registration, I believe that my extensive experience throughout the business gives me an insight into the experiences of both our Care Professionals and clients alike.

Before Home Instead, I completed a music degree at Plymouth University where I focused on helping those with Dementia by using music. I did a lot of research into this and found the evidence of enhancing the quality of life outstanding. It was working with those suffering from the condition that really made me want to dive deeper into health and social care.

I believe in our values and can gladly say I am proud to work for Home Instead whether you are a Care Professionals or a client; everyone who touches our services deserves to receive the best support and care possible.
